No Screensaver on Huawei MediaPad T5 10 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I recently bought the MediaPad and then discovered that there is no Screensaver at all. I went to a Huawei Service Center for help/repair and they told me that there is no Screensaver and there is nothing to repair. But the Screensaver is mentioned in all Manuals (english/german), but still is not there.
So I installed Lucid DayDream - clicked on DayDream Settings - and came to a Screen where there is Screensaver (Bildschirmschoner) waiting to be activated.
But I am not able to activate it
Maybe there is an ADB command to activate it.
I put in some Screenshots for Clarification.

Hi, I want to say that I have also a Huawei MediaPad M5, and I am not able to set Lucid Daydream Screensaver on it - very sadly.
I want to use the Tablet for my Home Automation, and I need a Clock on my Tablet. For years I was using an Acer Tablet, and everything worked fine.
Do you already have a solution?

My temporary workaround was to download the App Autostart and StaY! from Google Play Store, then I configured the persist monitor with my Screensaver App - which in my case was Fotoo - Digital Photo Frame Photo Slideshow Player.
Worked quite well, but finally I sold the Huawei MediaPad and bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab Samsung »Tab A 10.5 WiFi« Tablet which has a Screensaver out of the box.
I am really glad I did this.
Hope I could help.

Sounds like you are using ok google through your phone and not through your watch.
what happens when you double tap the watch screen?
Do you get this screen:

}
if not, you don't have your watch set up properly.
I know how to use Google Now on smartwatch(like you said - double tap on screen),i am not a "man of the forest" .The problem appears to be due to the fact I selected in Google Now app from the phone my native language who couldn't be used with "Ok Google" either on the phone, either on the smartwatch.I selected "English(US)" and the problem seems to be solved.Thank you anyway.
p.s.: To explain more detailed : The problem was if I say someting on the Google app from the smartwatch with smartphone screen off it loads forever on the smartwatch(the problem seems to be only on languages who don't work native with "OK Google").
Glad you worked it out.

Google Home cannot add Sony Android TV

Hello
I just bought Google Home. Configured it and looks like everything is fine...a part the fact that cannot connect to the Sony TV I got in the end of last year.
It's a new model of 2016 and my phone and tablet can cast to it, the Google Home application see it but I don't know why I cannot add it. I also updated to the last version of Google Cast app for Android TV. When I go to settings "add TV & Speakers" it just shows Google Home, I click "add", it scan the network..see it (!!!), already place the blue check, I press add...and nothing. It goes back to the previous sceen and nothing changed, it shows the Google Home device and nothing more.
I tried to...
- Rename the TV
- Clear the Google Cast App cache
- Restart the TV
- Uninstall and reinstall the uptades of Google Cast
- Change network
Don't know anymore what to do but I really would like to use Google Home full potential and cast video/pictures to my TV via this device.
Hope anyone can help.
Thanks !

Samsung announced a new feature with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, the ability to access Samsung Dex on a Windows or MacOS device. This in my opinion was a game changer as it could allow users to use the insane power of their Galaxy Note 10/Note 10+ devices on inexpensive hardware. Samsung released a client for MacOS and Windows but as usual left us ChromeOS/Linux users out in the cold. It turns out that there is a way to hack it together using nothing but open source tools (no Wine). Once I got this working on my Ubuntu Desktop, getting it to work on my Chromebook was trivial (not x64 only with Crostini). You dont even need to have your phone rooted.
What Works
-Keyboard/Mouse
-Shared Clipboard
-Drag and Drop of APK files to install them
What Does Not Work
-Audio does not route to the desktop
-Right Click does not work

Awesome endeavour
Your work is highly appreciated. I was planning on buying a note 10+ or 20 then discovered LoD was discontinued. Do you believe your method "could" work on the note 20? Really glad to see this as I was about to buy the note 9 and run it on pie(9). I use Linux primarily and my laptop just died. Having LoD would be awesome when this pandemic clears. Again much appreciation Keith.
Edit: after a reread I'm back to the note 9. Still no LoD.

Bypass Asus Chromebox CN60 enterprise-managed device

I got like a year ago this Asus Chromebox CN60 at a local street market for about 40€. When I turned it on I realised that it was tied to a Toyota Europe enterprise certificate. The only app I can access is Toyota Billboard, but I cannot access the app menu unless I log in with a Toyota Europe account. I tried to look for the seller to make a refund but I have no luck finding him. I've been trying to get into developer mode but no matter how I tried it always keeps telling me in dutch that the enterprise has disabled developer mode. I've even tried to remove the lock screw on the inside but nothing new happens. It has been lying around my basement for a while that I almost it, until some days ago my father's old laptop broke down and I thought that it would be a great idea since it has an Intel Core i7 4600U and it would be perfect for him. I attach below some photos and screenshots of what I've said.
Has anyone any clue on how I could bypass the lock and access the developer mode? Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi....Universal Android Root is another application accessible for Android gadgets that allows you to root your gadget without a PC. In contrast to Methods 1 and 2, the application isn't unreasonably well known and it probably won't work with some Android gadgets. That being said, if Methods 1 and 2 didn't work with your Android gadget, maybe this one will.
As the application is old, it should work with more seasoned Android gadgets and firmware forms. Like Framaroot, this application likewise includes an underlying alternative for unrooting your gadget. The application can establish upheld Android gadgets in five to seven seconds.
