Sonic Sender Alternative (Whatsapp Auto sender) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I bought Sonic Sender and due to some changes in Google policy, App Developer has to taken down the app from Google Play Store. This app is very useful since it send automatically message oon whatsapp to selected contacts (For example I need to send New Year Wishes to 400 people out of my 700 whatsapp contact). I have to choose contact, select media and text and click on Send. It send automaticllay one by one to selected whatsapp contact and thus saving my time. I was using the app even after removing from play store but yesterday due to some reason I uninstalled and reinstalled app. App Version 2.0.6 which is readily available on many website crashes after opening of app (I guess due to non-availability of same on Play Store) and Version 2.1.1 stuck with Google Login and when I select account it throw error Failed to Authenticate.
Can any one help me getting the app working again or can some one suggest me any alternative to said app.
Thanks in Advance....

[Q] Refund button not showing up.

Every time I download a paid app to my S3 from the google play store on my PC I am unable to receive a refund for them. On the phone the app doesn't appear in the play store app under my apps. When I go into applications manager and select uninstall I get an error saying that the app was not installed from google play store. If I request a refund via my account, my orders, report a problem I am sent an email stating "We've received a refund request from you for a recent Android app purchase on Google Play, however this is a free app". I really need to get this resolved as I am unable to try any paid apps as I cannot get a refund. My phone has the standard UK Samsung ROM but has been rooted.
Why not get apps via phone and Play store ..
I read this as your account may be different or not match .
Though i take it Play downloads the app on your phone .
jje
check you're logged into the correct account, I have a seperate account for my phone and google mail
Account on PC and phone are the same.

[Q] YouTube app broken - "There was a problem with the network [500]"

After one of the recent updates to the youtube app, I haven't been able to watch any videos. No matter what I do in the app, I always get the error "There was a problem with the network [500]" and the loading icon just spins forever. This happens on launch, when searching, and when being linked in from outside the app.
I've gotten this error before on older versions of the app, but it never prevented me from using the app. I have a feeling it has to do with my youtube account/email associated with my google account being suspended (happened years ago for uploading clips from a concert I went to, which is BS since youtube is full of them now).
Anyways, does anyone know what I can do to make the app work again? Is there a way to add an alternate youtube account? The "sign in" option does not allow me to specify an email.
I'm using a Nexus 7 on 4.2 and a Razr Maxx on 4.1.2 and Youtube app version 4.2.16
Figured out how to associate the app with a different account. Add another google account to your device, then clear data for the youtube app (or un/reinstall if it's not a system app). Launch the app and it will let you select which account to use.
Works perfectly

How all suggestions on Google Play are by my phone book contacts?

Hey Guys,
Today I opened Google Play app on mobile and at the home page of Play was all the list of apps which my friends have used.
For example:
In the list of “Essential Game”, “Recommended For You”, “Racing Games”, “Personalization Apps” and list go on as I scroll the Play store home
page, all apps and games listing here ware having names of my friends that they gave a review of those games. All these contacts are stored in
my phonebook but none having their email id.
The email id I am using to access Google Services on my device is totally unknown to anybody, as this ID I created only for using on my android
device. No other email accounts are configured on my device as well.
I neither use Facebook nor Google+ so those American spying apps are out of question.
Can anybody here can help me figure out how is it happening?
Factory Restore is not a solution it’s just skipping the problem.

[Q] What are ways to use Facebook messaging without the messenger app?

I've seen tutorials explaining how to use mobile facebook from a web browser.
I have also seen a hack where a correctly-named dummy app makes facebook think fb messenger is already installed. I'm not sure if this works with later versions of facebook.
What I've done so far is install an old version of facebook from July 2014, then used titaniumbackup to break the market link. So that it does not come up in my update or update all lists in play store.
The problem with what I'm doing now is that the facebook app periodically restores the market link so that I am not able to forget about my facebook workaround and update my other apps normally.
I wonder if there is a better hack for a rooted android galaxy s2 that keeps facebook messages in the app but does not require any further attention.
There were also third party apps that could show the facebook newsfeed and send messages but I no longer see them in the play store. Is there an app that I could sideload that is recommended to replace the facebook app?
Any help is greatly appreciated on this.
I think the easiest is just using an old version. Facebook 1.9.12 never asks for the update. Message away to your heart's content. It's posted on another xda thread

E-mail notification problem after update to 23s

Hello, I've recently updated my LeEco Le Max 2 (X820), and I'm having a strange issue.
With the default E-mail app, notifications only arrives when the phone is "on", when in standby, notifications don't arrive.
However, the numeric counter on the icon is showing, so the e-mail is correctly received, only the notification don't arrive.
I've already put the E-mail app in automatic startup and protected apps, but the problem persists.
This happens after 23s update, and other apps, like Gmail, now are working correctly, so I don't think it is the same problem as before.
Any suggestion? It happens also for you?
*sorry for my bad English, I'm Italian.

For me it's working now, but immediately after the upgrade it wasn't working also for me.
I followed these steps and now it's working:
-added Gmail to automatic startup and protected apps;
-disabled background resources control through hidden menu (*#*#46360000#*#* on the dialer);
-opened Gmail-->Settings-->selected my account (***@gmail.com) and then opened "Manage labels"-->Principal, and here, I've disabled and re-enabled the "Add labels to notifications" voice (or if it is already disabled, you should enable it);
-Restarted the phone, and then Gmail started to work properly.
With 20s, also with these steps, it wasn't working, but with 23s now it's working.
I wish it could help you, maybe some word or voice can be a little different (I'm translating from Italian Gmail app).

Thanks a lot for the information. Those are also what I found among tons of posts. I was aware of this issue before I flashed stock rom. I did those steps right after I install gmail (and outlook email app which has same problem). But it was still mute.
How did you install your gmail app and play store? with other service apk? That might be a factor.

I've not used APKs, I've installed Play Store through the pre-installed LeStore app, by typing "Google" on the search bar.
After installed Play Store, I just logged in and then started to download apps, Gmail included, and also updated Play services through the Play Store instead of LeStore (there is Play services also in Le Store, but I haven't installed it).
I have also installed the Google App, maybe it can be relevant?

Looks like it is relevant.
I disable the play services, it uninstalls the updates (which I installed manually). Then I enable it again. When I open Gmail, it would require play services to update through play store. After the updates, I finally get the notification back.
Thank you so much for the idea.
For your Email issue, did you try to change the sync frequency?

Oh you're welcome, I'm glad to have helped you
For my Email issue, the problem seems to have corrected itself.
(sorry for delayed answer, I just forgotten to have opened this thread )
