Volte doesn't work properly. Selinux permissive. It is not bug-free rom.

if you wanna focus on gaming, don't move to android 10 just yet.

If you're gonna shoot down every honest option... Then you don't deserve to ask a question.

You have every right to post a genuine question, but it seems you are very well informed regarding ROMs etc. You are just acting like a **** when it isn't required. Do your own research, there are plenty of threads on ROM's for POCO. And stop shooting down the advice of people who answer your question.

@Chris
I checked your profile. And it's filled with the same garbage, just with different words. You have no manners or decency. You just think that everyone is obliged to answer your questions. All your posts are about the same problem just worded differently each time.
I checked your post history.
Please buy a new phone or get lost off XDA
Sincerely
A Pocophone User

Try mioptimusone and search the forum for roq (not roqu3). I'm using this kernel and it's the best I've tried so far.
Not sure if Roqu3 is OK with me posting a link...but I hope he doesn't mind people using (and appreciating) his work:

Here is what RoQ wrote...
03/10/2012 - More patches and a new touchdriver courtesy of thachtunganh (ta-dev from kernel) on my repo found last week and forkeĆ³ (made a copy and I assume it will patch suddenly and published as well) then sent me several patches but only left me with some, of which the most important is its touchdriver which is fixed to a lower consumption of CPU, I've been testing and although the cel runs normal and does not pull as much CPU used to be before, ie it is something like that of Der_Caveman without losing fluidity, it seems very good. here is site for previous and latest roq kernels:

just flashed the latest version... I have to say I'm impressed it's the smoothest kernel I've used so far, 729/480 conservative
Indeed, almost as good as Franco kernel (this is just my opinion).
Great kernel, nevertheless. And strange that it has no large user base, at least on XDA...

Is the dev even part of this community? Maybe we should invite him to share his work here.. That way we can report bugs, or test new versions
Thanks to everyone
However...Where can I find the link of the topic where Roq puts his latest kernel everytime?
EDIT: Sorry, I've found it The latest build is number 63!

Yep...he is here as Roqu3. There is an old thread about his first attempt to make a kernel, but nothing related to his latest work.

Well...some people took offense when I recommended it over franco#4.
Oh wait, even you said franco's is the best EVAR
So I assume the dev doesn't want to be part of this bickering debate...
No offence here. It is just my personal oppinion. I think that anyone should use what suits him / her best. Android is about freedom of choice, right?

Obviously I was just joking
On the same topic, I find people hyper-sensitive here on this forum...very hard to crack a joke and make a sarcastic comment...you must have seen the reaction my comments triggered in the franco kernel thread. I wonder why...

[Q] Any Chance to develop something similar to impressive AOKP roms

Hello possible people that know way more than I do about this.
The AOKP roms over certain devices I think is so impressive with so many different
customization's . Is it possible/realistic to develop a somewhat similar rom on our Gtabs?
thats all, thank you for your time.

Which phone has the most support/community in XDA?

I know Nexus/Pixel devices have a good reputation here (I'm a Nexus 6 owner) a lot of support and a huge community. But I was wondering let's say you want to buy a phone purely depending on the community and support on XDA which phone would that be?
would really like your opinion on this? hich phone has the best community ROM build support here?

Do you mean Elephone has the most community support and Roms?
I'm not sure about community support, I was referring to specs there. I'll probably get one of these badboys after new years

As for which has the most community support, I would have to say the Galaxy S series probably dominates with both support and rom options.

Android 9 kind of working rom found

Hey guys, I found this kind of working Android 9 build for our Nexus 9. It's from the developer Hashbang, who if I remember correctly did some other ROMs for our Nexus 9 years ago. Why i say kind of working? Because after boot for about 5-10 seconds everything works just fine, but after that, the tablet just freezes. Here is a link to the Rom: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=280510&sort_by=date&sort_dir=DESC

Hehe, sorry didn't know that xD. Some progress tho, seems to be a touchscreen driver issue. Using a mouse over otg the tablet doesn't freeze anymore. Some pictures:

and how did you manage to find this ROM in the first place, is there some kind of a N9 chatgroup?

I don't really know if it patches vendor. I found this Rom by just googling around and finding it on a lineageos forum. A chatgroup tho is a great idea!

Humble request to developers

Thanks to developers we've plenty of great ROM's available for our 2.5 year old budget handset Redmi 3S (Land). Honestly speaking during this time my device never got slower, my device is performing like a smartphone of 2018. One thing that changed drastically was battery backup.
Our device is getting newer ROM's every now & then but we've fewer kernel options available.
I request developers please create few kernels for Land.
Thanks team Land.
Look, you have to sacrifice something to get something...
invest money in buying mi powerbank... it'll save your money for another decade...
and honestly all are working for optimum of performance, battery isn't a problem...
and main reason for battery drain is google play services and google app itself... try using gms doze magisk module and tweaking kernel profiles for the time being....
thanks for listening...

I get around 6-7 hours of bb , Deep sleep works great too *_*
Hi,
If a kernel focused on bb and lagy af did you use it. Kernels available for land are balanced. IMO having many is not better than having a good one.(Not in case of rom).
