You can disable search app
It my solve your problem

I guess your problem is, that you add "google search" widget..and it uses the miui one. Long press the search widget (even if its the permanent one from the extra settings in nova) and click modify, then look for google widget with the title specifically saying something like "search using google".
I had the same problem on my mi pad 4 using nova.

[Q] Google search widget, different??? Why?

My google search widget is kinda different from others, it has no "google" text but only a "search icon" in the left on my stock launcher, I'm running android version 4.0.4 . See the picture attached to this message! My phone is this here: "quartelectronics.com/articleDetal.aspx?a=31&i=79&l=EN" but doesn't have the same google search widget on the homescreen, the widget is like in the screenshot! Help!!

Nexus 9: Marshmallow Google Search Widget?

My Nexus 9 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. How do I remove the Google Search Widget from the Home screen?
The easiest way is to install a launcher that will allow you to remove the search widget. I think I remember reading that Nova launcher would do this.
Removing the search bar
If you're rooted, you can install xposed installer and the module "XGELS" and select the option to remove the google search bar from the homescreen.

Google Now Launcher

Ok in the App Drawer there are some apps (like 12) and the other don't show and yeah I know I could switch but is like the Google launcher

Google weather widget

Has anyone figured out how to add the Google weather widget to the stock Huawei Home launcher?
When I try to add it it doesn't do anything. Works fine on other launcher like Nova or Evie.
I found a workaround, there is an app called Frog Weather in the app store that opens up Google weather.
Same function as the shortcut which Huawei home can't create for some reason!!
I always use the standard huawei weather widget.. Works great. What's the difference with Google widget?
Not a massive difference. I just like the Google weather app better than accuweather, that's all.
I am using "Another widget" you can download the app from the play store. It looks the same as the pixel 3 at a glance widget but has more functionality.

Long press on home screen and goto widget & select weather icon then you will get weather widget in home launcher.

Thanks for that but that doesn't seem to work for me on any Huawei phones. Somehow the launcher is preventing the widget from being created. But the Frog Weather app is a good workaround.

I'm swipe down and search?
Search where? No search option
You should see in settings a selection for homescreen and wallpaper. The default is iPhone style launcher with no home screen (which seems to be popular in Asia) but you can change the homescreen style to drawer (the Android standard in the west) which will give you a homescreen and app drawer. There is an app search bar at the top of the drawer.
Hey you can swipe down on display, there you can search apps.
