Bluetooth video delay - Huawei P30 Pro Guides, News, & Discussion

I just bought the Haylou GT1 Pro and is impossible to use them to watch a video with P30 Pro the audio lag from the video is so, sooo bad. Tested with S10 plus and sounds much better. I'm still on 9.1 185 ... Anyone knows how to fix it?
Thanks

Currently, the only way to properly use Bluetooth devices is if they support the aptx codec as its the fastest codec and the P30pro is really bad at handling the other codecs.

buy better one... i have jabra elit 65 active and there is no lag and any other problems... they was also perfect for my old p10, now i am on p30pro

But after test with S10 plus seems that the problem is not the device !

Same here on mate20 pro with Huawei freebuds.
Very very bad delay,
With my old OnePlus no delay at all.
Huawei devices are crappy with Bluetooth.

Second this,
I have Sennheisers True Wireless and its next to 0 lag as well.
While it may work better with the S10 the problem is more the headset using codecs that the S10 may support but the P30 Pro does not.

am also using SONY srs-xb30 bluetooth speaker,no lags... in car on bluetooth (also for videos) no lags... i really didn't have any problems so far... try to find some device with bt 5.0 and try it... just to see is there any lag

No issues with my bose QC35s but I did get lag with my Samsung galaxy buds.

Hey, do you know if this is fixed with the android 10 update?

Go in developer options and change the Bluetooth audio codec. That will fix the Audio lag.

The GT1 pro is 5.0... I found a post here in the forum where a guy with those Bose $200 + bought a p30 pro and was complaining about the same thing !

Bluetooth Audio Cutting In & Out

Good day everybody! My Mate 10's bluetooth when connected to my car's audio has been cutting in and out consistently without fail. there isn't one song that could play smoothly, this doesn't happen with my S8. any thoughts? Thanks!
easy, get the s8.
I recently bought Huawei Mate 10 from official Huawei store on AliExpress. It does not show Dual VoLTE option. Man - I am doomed only dual 4g.
Huawei - Why???? The seller really duped me as I asked this question before buying phone. The answer was diplomatic - "yes, it will support 4g in India"

Eventually it seems VoLTE and VoWiFi should come in 131 update for c636.
XDA did not allow me to post the link as I joined recently. Simply open AliExpress app and search for "Huawei Online Store"
(from AliExpress Android)
Just waiting for VoLTE update. Then this will the perfect phone!!
same bluetooth issues with my car also... i am very pissed.

thank you for confirming.
it's sad though because the hardware is really nice.
Bluetooth audio is really ****ty as of right now.
There is a topic over it but the situation is the following:
SBC codec causes distortion
AAC codec is 100% broken
Aptx and Ldac I haven't tested yet.

Sad story, but this topic seems to be over malfunctioning BT audio. ?
With my wife's P20 Pro there are no issues.
But now with the lastest firmware is even worse, it's chopping every few seconds.
shame on you Huawei.

Sony LDAC, OP5 and Oreo 8.1

Have been thinking about picking up a pair of Sony WH1000XM2 that use the LDAC codec over Bluetooth. I was wondering if anyone else has a pair of these (or any Sony headphones that support LDAC).
I've read all the product reviews, I'm mostly wondering if LDAC works properly and if the sound quality and bluetooth reception is good on the OnePlus5 (especially if you're on OpenBeta 6).
Thanks in advance for any insights!
I have the MDR1000X and this model works very well with LDAC and apt-X on every Open Beta version including Open Beta 6
To be honest, I can't hear any difference between LDAC and apt-x with aac 320kbit/s files.

I am interestred to know as well. I have a oneplus 5 with No Limits ROM (based on stock OOS stable 5.0.2) and I was planning to buy a pair of sony WH-1000xm2. Somebody have this model and can tell me if it works with LDAC?
LDAC works well with 5T OB4. I have the WH-1000XM2.

It's been a year I know, but for anyone wondering:
LDAC and all other Codecs are perfectly supported and working with the WH1000XM2 and Oneplus 5. I settled with AAC, since it is the best available codec still allowing to use the Sony Apps inbuilt equalizer.

Critical Bluetooth audio lag

Ahoy good people of XDA,
Before the m20p I had OnePlus 5,
With the OnePlus I used Huawei freebuds.
Everything was great, good times
"What a Time to be Alive",
6 months ago I bought Mate 20 Pro, have to say it wasn't cheap, the phone is amazing.
But I can't deal with the audio lag I'm having on Bluetooth with the freebuds, unlike the OnePlus, it's working like sh**t,
Checked with huawei services and no help from then at all.
Anyone having this bug or maybe fixed it?
**Already formatted my device, no fix**
**Already tried to play with the codec, no fix**
**Want to throw the phone to the sea**
Please help

Bluetooth support for system EQ?

I've hogged this question around all phone manufacturers, and the only phone that supports it that I know of is LG V series. OPPO itself ignored the question, so if someone could test...
Also, what about aptX... does it have it?

Disappointing, I remember back in 2014 people complaining that MaxxAudio wasn't supported by BT in OPPO Find 7. It's extraordinary that these blasted companies ditch the audio jack and expect people to use BT without the system EQ, which is far superior to the bucket-load of poor third-party EQ apps.
OnePlus 7 Pro doesn't support it, according to support. Sony Xperia 1 I now know does, so it's a choice between that and LG.
Reno 10x has aptx HD via Bluetooth. It means you can enjoy almost lossless audio if you have right headphone. I have an audio Technica Bluetooth headphone with aptx HD. Works amazing with the Reno. Perfect and Crystal clear sound. The problem with aptx HD headphones is that they are expensive. The one i have is 300 $.

Dual Stereo Audio OUT (NOT Dual Speaker) with xiaomi redmi note pro 9 joyeuse?

is there a mixer mod/module/anything that makes the phone output 2 separate stereo audio streams?
having two audio/media players playing, one outputs sound to the phone jack, the other outputs sound to usb c (which can be connected to some soundcard/DAC).

This is new to me. I didn't even know it was possible to have two instances of media players running simultaneously outputting to different ports. You must tell us when you get it to work. Although I don't understand what kind of activity would warrant such a mod. Please elaborate what you plan yo use dual sound output for. TIA.
