Hi friends! I have been having problems with my WiFi:
I have an Ace 3 LTE (GT-S7275R) and it's new. I have rooted it with vRoot and I have installed the same apps that I had in my old mobile (Galaxy Mini 2) with Titanium Backup. I haven't install any ROM because there aren't. I only have flash PureAudio Engine and Bravia Engine with Flash Gordon. I also have Lucky Patcher and NetWork Spoofer, and I have wipe some stock apps, but I know that I could unistall it (ChatOn, Yahoo, Widgets, etc)
I don't have any firewall, and I connect to WiFi, it connects, but if I go to Lay Store, Browser, etc, I don't have Internet. It don't connect.
I have installed Stock Rom and the same. Please help :crying::crying::crying:

Hi, I also have an Ace 3 LTE (GT-S7275R) purchased two weeks ago, and I have many problems with WiFi connection. It performs so slowly and unstable. Yesterday I find a workarround stoping WiFi Direct search. To do this: switch on Wi-Fi, go to setup, then Wi-Fi, select the right down button for Wi-Fi Direct, and stop the WiFi direct devices search. After I do this, my Wi-Fi connection performs ok.

I have frezze disable WIFI Direct on ace 3 but it still working? How to disabel WiFI direct on rooted phone? I have use titanium backup bat that not a slution.

I didn't get a solution. However, I'm in CM11 now and WiFi works properly

My Mi Pad 4 3/32GB (without GPS), with the new MIUI 10 can not get the location via Wifi for the Google Maps app.
I tried to cancel Maps data and restart but it did not work.
Any idea?
even their built in Weather app can't locate using wifi (throws an error then quit)...
let alone Maps....

I bought recently xiaomi mi box s runnicg on 8.1 Android TV.
Any body tried on mi box s CyberGhost VPN app? I tried but it is not working. The app said it's conected but really not. I check my IP adress and it is still the same. If I try other services such as ExpressVPN the app is working properly, means my IP adress changed. Do you know what could be the problem?

I already added it but it says that my account isn't connected to my device so it says to add it through developer options. But the problem is that it needs 4g/data which i don't have and can't access.

AFAIK, what is needed is mobile data and not "4G". If you have 3G, enable data and try.

That is absolute bull****, isn't there any way to use a wifi connection instead? And i am already logged in why does it say it isn't bound.

Because data network is needed to connect your phone number with Xiaomi aacount. As i said before, it wont work with wifi, you have to do it with mobile data.

Are you sure? Because I was able to link my phone with Mi account while being on WiFi, so this is something new for me. Any credible source describing such limitation?

Who's talking about adding Mi account without SIM card? Thread is about adding MI account without access to mobile data, OP did not mention that he does not have SIM card and phone number at all?

You wouldn't know how the Mi account was accessed from the mobile if it also had a sim. I know that when wifi is enabled, mobile data is not accessed but we really don't know whether mobile data was accessed or not. That was why the earlier poster told you to attempt the linking without a sim. For all we know, Xiaomi may have a way of accessing mobile data even when wifi is enabled.
When I want to turn off mobile there must be ask password then mobile should be off. It means when thief want to stole mobile and try to switch off he will not able to turn off mobile because there asked be password. And we can trace mobile easily. Please give this functions in all the latest mobiles. This function must be in MI poco F1

You don't need the fone on to be able to track it. It only needs the battery to some juice. The fone is automatically tracked by its SIM contacting the masts it is near. Now the thief can dump the SIM but there's also the IMEI. So set a password on starting it up and make sure it is encrypted, always.
