Hello! I have global stable 11.0.5 on mi 8 lite and since 10.0.5 any module to enable camera 2 api on my phone doesnt work, what should i do?
Don't really know why, but have you tried the manual method to enable de camera2 API?

I own a Redmi Note 5 Pro.Yesterday I updated it to MIUI 10 Global Stable.GCam is not working since then.It was working perfectly with MIUI 9.6.All my Camera2API permissions have been revoked as well.(checked using manual camera compatibility).
Couldn't find any TWRP for MIUI 10 Camera2API enabling so didn't try it again.
My phone's bootloader status is unlocked and device is non-rooted.I'd prefer not rooting it since I have more than 9 months of warranty in hand.
Please help as the low light shots with stock camera are terrible,to say the least.

Yes, but you'll need to root or wait for a miracle if Xiaomi enables camera2 api in next Pie beta update.
Anyone knows if can i install magisk and use gcam on miui 11 global?
With camera 2 probe i saw that camera2api state are the same as miui 10, but i haven't tried to install it because i don't know if can i install magisk on miui 11.

sorry for being a total noob but what would you miss if you download an older version for android 7 ...gcam 5.something ?
+ what the hell is magisk ,so i don't need to change my rom to have a working gcam ??

No matter what you do none of the GCam APKs on MIUI will work, not only on 10 but 11 neither.. last MIUI for Mido with GCam support was MIUI 9 and since GCam APKs minSDK is way higher than the Nougat we have officially for Mido this is the end of the story.
Is there a fix to be able to have the gcam at 48Mpx in the Mi A3 ?, as well as it exists for other models such as the Mi 9 and Mi 9T, one of them also has the IMX586, and I have not managed to work the magisk module in the Mi A3, any ideas or solutions?

You must be rooted , and try to install anxcamera from this link :

Then there is an add-on can you find it in the site anxcamera in the previous link this add-on give you 48mp camera.

This is only for ANX Camera, but no for Gcam.

Hello guys
I wanted to install gcam in Mi 8 Lite lucky i found gcam but after it the stock camera is not working..
I enabled camera2api from system build prop..
After this gacm is not working but MIUI camera is working ... Then i flash gcam for platina. Zip(magisk module) .. gcam working good with night mod but MIUI camera is not working ....
I'm running Android 10 MIUI 12 any solution..?
I also install miui 12 camera but force close when open setting or video ....
Any solution or new camera app that works with gcam .. I wanted both because slow motion not working in gcam and it is not stable... Plz help
