I have had this shortcut on every lg phone forever in the apps drawer. Went looking today and couldn't find it anywhere on the G8X. Anyone else notice this?

when i first bought my Thunderbolt, i paid Verizon for the full version of the Rock Band app. before i installed a custom ROM, i backed up all my APK including the Rock Band apk that i have.
once i'm within the custom ROM, i was able to reinstall the game and even played it. i got it opened from the menu that appears after side loading an app that says either "open" or "done" but the app itself does not show in the app drawer. the game does show under the "manage applications" list. i just don't know how to re-open it since there's no shortcut.
i found a work around. i downloaded Any Cut from the Market and it allowed me to place the shortcut on the desktop. but i still rather have it show on the app drawer as well. at least now, i can actually open the game.
i kinda learned my lesson now. i'm not going to pay for apps anymore unless it's from the Market or if the developer makes it easy to switch devices or ROM installs.
I'm wondering if I accidentally deleted one of the delete-able stock apps that is needed to support Voice Talk. For some reason it doesn't open anymore. It will go to a black screen for a few seconds and then cut back to the app drawer. Is it possible that I did something wrong here? Just the stock OS and everything.
I am also seeing this exact same problem. It's only when invoking voice talk from the app icon. I can still launch it successfully from a widget or double home. Did u ever resolve this?
Hello; I can't seem to find the Phone application in the app drawer, or in selection lists (e.g. Launcher 7 initial setup). I've frozen a few things using Titanium, but it's not on that list anywhere either. I can find it in Astro easily enough, but no way else.

If you can see the contacts app, the dialer is just one of the tabs... it's not perfect, but it works...

I am not able to remove apps from my homescreen when using milauncher, whenever i drag a particular app to the bin it takes me directly to uninstall....is there any work around to stop this from happening?
Where else would you put it? MIUI has no separate pages for the applications. Everything is on the homescreen. So, if you essentially want it removed, it will be uninstalled. You cant take it out of the homescreen because that's it's primary location.
I woke up this morning and got in my car and went to turn on navigation and the icon was missing from my home screen. My first reaction was "Dammit..I deleted it somehow" so i checked through my apps list to find it and its not there. I clicked settings>apps and its not listed in the apps list either! I spent about 10 minutes searching for it and it honestly looks like its not installed anymore.
Anyone have ideas for how to get it back? Is this as easy as reinstalling the google apps?
I'm using a Galaxy Nexus with 4.1.1 (i know its old and needs to be updated)
