Need CSC Help! - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

Hey Guys,
I have SM-G965F S9+ India version. Today while doing a factory reset, I somehow changed the setting to Vietnam. I am unable to change it back to India setting. Any ideas on how to do change it back without going down the root process? I had the sim try open during the reset and when I closed it got a pop-up message - "sim 1 has changed. Change to carrier settings". I clicked yes and now things are getting defaulted to Vietnam instead of India (or my preferred US). Any idea on how change it back?
I am running all stock os with no modifications whatsoever.
Thanks for your help!
Nate!

[Q] Reset phone config changed by USSD?

Hi all,
I traveled to another country and got a new sim. In the process of putting the sim in and registering my phone on the foreign network, I noticed that the saleslady entered several USSD codes (sometimes she receives error messages and had to re-do them).
My question is: now I am back in my home country and want to ensure that any config changes she made to my phone are removed, can I just do a phone hard reset / factory reset to get everything back to "factory" defaults? I don't have a problem doing a factory reset if that's what's needed.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Good enough/stock to return S3 LTE to Vodafone Germany?

Dear all,
I just want to make sure that my vodafone LTE S3 is ready to be given back to vodafone shop (sim card is not recognized at all, either some kind of lock or simply broken). vodafone employer came to us showing us the s3 saying "just want to show you the color". now i figured out that the box was already open when he came to us....
got phone yesterday but never tested phone function before rooting. used CF root with CWM and later also CF auto root to get back stock recovery. also resetted flash count. never flashed anything else, especially no other image. just did these two root options.
my questions:
- after final root with CF auto root I used Triangle Remove and Downloader showed count of zero, binary "Samsung Original" and system "Samsung Original". But after resetting phone (wipe in recovery console) it shows system in downloader "custom" (binary is still samsung...flash count still zero "no"). Is this normal?
- is recovery console the original one?
- am i good enough to go back to vodafone with this?
thank you to everyone!

Autopreconfig, new service provider notification

Sometimes I get a notification from AutoPreconfig, asking me to use new apps and configurations from my new service provider. If I open the notification, it says that to use apps and configurations from my new provider, I need to restore my phone, all my user data shall be lost, etc. I can press "ok" and nothing happens.
Why does that happen?
Anyone else getting this? Can I get rid of it without factory reseting the phone?

I think that this happens when for an example you live in Spain and you bought a phone for European union not Spain but Germany.... When you incert your sim card for first time it reads that your provider is in Spain but your CSC belongs to Germany so want to change your CSC from Germany to Spain .. That's why it asks you to factory reset to change your CSC...
PLEASE help from someone if I'm wrong....

Thanx... That makes sense, but is it something new...?
I used to have an s7edge with Poland csc (XEO) but never got this message even if my sim card is from a Greek provider.
Now, I see that my S9+ has Italian csc (ITV) and I get this message because my sim card is from a Greek provider...
Why is Samsung doing this to their new models...?
If I actually do the factory reset, what more will I gain? Is it worth it or nothing will actually change apart from the csc...? Everything is working just fine now.

Yes that's exactly what is happening.
Ρε πατρίδα μπες στο myphone.gr στο θέμα του s9+ και θα στα εξηγήσουμε όλα εκεί...
So I decided to bite the bullet, and made a factory reset through the settings, with my Sim Card inserted.
It rebooted my phone, after first reboot (just on the first language selection page that appears) it prompted the message again (Autopreconfig), and asked me to revert to factory settings again so as to set up the new sim card.
I selected OK, the phone rebooted once more and this time it booted directly to my language (i.e. to the language of my carrier's sim card).
I checked the settings and also downloaded an app from Play Store to check my CSC, and indeed my CSC has changed to my country.
I had ITV (Italy) csc, and now I have EUR (Greece) csc.
So now all is ok and set up to the correct csc.
Fyi, before doing the above I had backed up everything to samsung cloud.
Hello all,
Same problem here but, in my case, I have used the phone for some months... images, saven configs in many apps, etc...
I know such things are not saved in the samsung cloud... is there any other way to change this? Do all of them need a factory reset?
I use Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Android 11. I intently changed CSC to THL (Thailand) to activate built in call recorder. But now every time I restart my phone CIDmanager warning appears as in the screenshot. How to get rid of it? I don't wanna change CSC code back to my home country's.
No one knows the solution?

Locked myself out of CSC changing screen [Help]

Obligatory - This is my first post here, please go easy on me. If this is the wrong section please point me where I need to go.
Okay, I have been having issues getting IMS registration (for att) on my N20U (unbranded) Snapdragon. This is an issue because I don't receive most calls without VoLTE, and the service I am using is actually FirstNet. (An at&t service that provides priority cell tower access for first responders.) Who is also dropping legacy 3G and analogue calling at the end of the year.
The FN sim I was given would not change the network CSC to ATT like it should have in order to work properly.
I was able to get to the manual CSC change menu through the dialer code with a TFW-att sim card (yes, while on oneUI 3.0). I suppose the menu is locked out when other csc's are active.
This allowed me to force change to ATT's csc, then place my FN sim in the phone. The kicker? I had to toggle "do not auto update CSC based on sim data" in the menu to get this method to stick.
Things are grand, working fine, but i got curious as to what options the other csc's had to offer. So i start flipping through the list and end up landing on.....you guessed it..... XAA.
Without thinking about it, i ran it, the phone rebooted, and now im screwed. Flashed the ATT rom with Odin- no change. Factory reset? No change. I messed up BIG.
Finale / TLDR
If you didn't get what just happened there, I used a specific sim card to enable a CSC a menu that uncle sammy does not want you playing with. Proceeded to disable auto CSC changing by SIM, then walked back into a CSC that does not allow me to open said menu. Thus preventing my phone from working fully on ANY NETWORK ever again. With root impossible...
Side notes that failed: Tried fac reset/ tried firmware flash/ tried samkey (no android 11 support)/ tried force change from network side. I hope im not out of options?
