Using AEX unofficial build,
Reason :
Volte working, pie, customisation, battery life,......

aosmp
It's just enough cust, not bloated. So light and good enough for games. Idk about volte because kenzo can't access volte here in my country (need 3rd party apps to do it), but some people reported it working. For kernel, just use stock. Although it based on Escrima, it actually contain some optimization which makes it more good :good:

Hmm, mine doesn't really hot at all (I'm playing cod & honkai impact with high frame rate settings), just make sure the thermal are set between 45-50, but you know the consequences . Oh btw, mobile data also the culprit of heat generator, also one thing, when flashing rom, make sure give it one day to perform the optimization process. Initially, my impression to aosmp also "why this rom so hot when doing light multitasking, or the animation is stuttering. Then I just use it casually for one day, and the next day, it perform better
oh btw, i'm forcing the optimization to happen right now, not waiting a long night while charging, like on this thread said by using terminal :
https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/...-and-battery-calibration-myths-busted.993896/

i'm using pixel exp.

BEFORE INSTALLING THIS ROM, MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE MODEL IS THE SAME AS TITLE
IF YOU ASK ANY QUESTIONS LIKE "IS THIS FOR MODEL BLABLABLA" THEY WILL BE ALL IGNORGED
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
We'll not support users and answer questions from users which:
are running a custom kernel
have flashed mods
modified system files
didn't follow our intructions word by word
are unfriendly
And most important: DON'T READ THE OP
What's working:
RIL (Calls, SMS, Mobile data) [Dual-SIM]
Wifi (connection, tethering, etc)
Bluetooth
Camera, video codecs
Storage (both internal and external)
Storages (internal, external, adoptable storage) (*)
Offline charging
zRAM (compressed-RAM swap)
GAPPS
Tethering (USB, Wifi, Bluetooth)
GPS
Torch (flashlight)
WiFi-Direct
SELinux enforcing
New lz4 compressor/de-compressor for zram (new)
BUGS/Not working :
There're lots of bugs, but main are
No sound (beware making alarm while running this ROM), also Sound Recording doesn't work
Sound quality not too good when playing loud music or sound
FM radio app FC (due to missing libraries)
Screen recorder freeze the system (due to codecs, maybe)
Screen flickering on apps only (known as "strict mode"). Quick solution is pressing recents button, then return to the app. Currently, we can't disable it through Developer options
Distorting sound when using Bluetooth headset in call
WiFi-Direct does not work
WiFi auto-disconnect
AudioFX is not working
Battery drain caused by RIL
Cannot switch mobile data to other SIM without reboot
First time installing CyanogenMod 13 to your Galaxy V, or coming from another ROM:
Install TWRP Recovery
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Vol-up+Home+Power)
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)*
Install the ROM from sdcard using TWRP Recovery
Optionally install the Google Apps ( get it here: https://opengapps.org ) (pico GAPPS recommended) (*)
(*) NOTE: If you're about going to install GAPPS with ROM, install it right after you've installed the ROM, else you have to do a factory reset if you've booted the ROM first

F.A.Q
Q: ROM startup too slow?
A: This device is just a single-core phone, so the first startup is super-duper slow, and some lags are expected during usage
Q: ETAs?
A: See here: Link
Q: Anymore models supported?
A: SM-G313ML, SM-G313H
Q: Is init.d supported on this ROM?
A: Every CyanogenMod ROMs support init.d, so be free at scriptings
Q: Can you include ABCXYZ feature / Samsung Apps here?
A: NO!
Q: Can i use your ROM as a base for portings?
A: Yes, you could, but give proper credits
Q: Status 7 when installing the ROM?
A: Use TWRP recovery to install the ROM, as CWM is not supported yet
Q: Server error in Google Play Store?
A: Install latest Google Play Services manually first (might take long time, due to Lollipop's nature), then you can install apps from GG Play as usual
Q: How to use adoptable storage feature? I see it's new in Marshmallow
A: Go to Settings >> Storage & USB >> Tap on the SD card label (not the eject icon) >> 3 dots menu on the top right >> Settings >> Format as internal and done!
Q: Where's the MTP option in Marshmallow? I don't see it in Storage settings
A: This feature has been moved to Developer settings, and will reset to default (Charging) after every reboots. Enable developer options first by tapping 7 times on Build number in About phone section >> Go to Developer settings >> Select USB configuration. The fastest way to do this is plug in your USB with your PC, scroll down notification bar and tap on "USB for Charging"
Q: Where's the "running" section in Apps settings?
A: It has been cut off separately to Memory setting and "Running services" in Developer settings. You can see the memory used by apps for a period of time and closing apps too, but they won't disappear in the menu, and in "Running services", still same as old-fashioned running apps section

Actually, the camera is usable, but sometimes during capture only, it lags (just for minimal duration, count by miliseconds). Video recording works just fine, but no sound
When RIL is fixed, we'll switch the ROM to beta builds, as it's a major issue for now

Great news guys! We have been working hard, and.... RIL now fixed!
We can make calls, send SMS, using mobile data for sure. Although that, we still having a great trouble: SystemUI and Phone FC
When that problem is fixed, we'll release BETA-1 for sure
Fun fact: Audio is dead, but we can still hear what people are saying in calls
I am confuse, that how can you upgrade your kernel.
Your device Kernel version was 3.10.17 and now its upgraded to 3.10.34
How is that possible.
I planned to port this ROM to higgs2g if the CM13 build process always fails.. Can I have permission to port this ROM? Thanks in advance

Good to see another custom ROM for Che2.
This is great, I am going to try both of these (Slim and RR). What is the main difference between EMUI and SlimROM except for it's smaller? Reviews?

-Newer android version
-Some(most) people like slim/RR/some other custom rom overlay better.
-If you had some problems in EMUI with background user apps stopping (like whatsapp message notifications arriving too late or google photo doesn't sync) you won't have those problems any more.
For me battery in deepsleep goes bit faster on RR than it went on EMUI.
EMUI ~3-8% in 10h
RR ~10-14% in 10h
But maybe it's because the background apps work like you would expect them to work. Or maybe it's something else.

Thanks. I get only about ~10% per 10h on my EMUI, and I'm running modaco rom, which is a slimmed down version of stock EMUI. I haven't had any problems with background apps or other things on modaco, but I like the idea of finally advancing to Nougat on kirin with a functional dual sim.
What about Apps2SD or adoptable storage? Maybe it's not necessary on Slim or RR? Honor 4x is almost useless without adding some internal storage via some such solution.

Is adoptable storage improved in nougat? It was not good enough in MM to really expand storage, so Apps2SD was needed back then.

is it possible to make a custom rom for cherryplus that will utilize the storage being used by the system?!? like from 3.6 GB usable internal storage to 5-6 GB?!? I mean that would be a great help!

I think you could try to re-partitioning your device. Though it might be a bit risky if you are not sure what you are doing. It's safer to just use adopted storage or apps2sd to get more space and performance lost in that is unnoticeable in most cases (and I think it only affects to loadingtimes)

Agreed. There are only a few apps that load significantly slower if you link them with Apps2SD, and you can put those apps on /system partition. (For example "HereWeGo" navigation app takes very long time to load, like ~25 sec.)
It have the same battery consomming like RROS?
I think you should compare with Che2-ul00 B580 last build, only 1~2% in 12hours at deepsleep.

Damn, I've been eagerly awaiting the Oreo ROM blessed by Daniel. Thanks man, can't wait to get it flashed.
Awesome work. Thanks.
Does this require a clean flash? It would it work a dirty flash over N52?

Everithing that its system related do not backup/restore, its asking for problems, user apps and user apps data should not be an issue.

I'm afraid that's not entirely true.Aex oreo is not using sultan's hals and camera still works fine except for the video recording, which is bound to fix soon.

Good for him, even on mine was facing the video recording issue, the fix was easy on my case.
Just need to change some paths of audio.
Code:
$(LOCAL_PATH)/audio/audio_platform_info.xml:system/vendor/etc/audio_platform_info.xml \
$(LOCAL_PATH)/audio/audio_policy.conf:system/vendor/etc/audio_policy.conf \
$(LOCAL_PATH)/audio/mixer_paths.xml:system/vendor/etc/mixer_paths.xml
Its all moved to vendor folder in my case. This fixed audio sound problems and video camera recording.
first of all, thanks for developer, it is the step forward and anyway like it or not, it just another one rom at the popular base (oreo), so we can think that our device is still not forgotten. 3 oreo roms here,,,
then i'd like to share my exp with this rom.
- it's very fast and simple to install, i've just flashed twrp under my cm13 and wiped data, cache and system, no storage wipe, no format. just a few moments and it works without boaring startup wzrd.
- i've got less SOD situations at first use. may be i can see it after installantion of progs (and their services), but other roms (except stock) shows much worse results, and i even suppose i'll be able to use it in casual life (no custom roms can do it before: hydrogen 7.12., flyme 6. oreo - even didn't started properly).
- the fail is that the buttons are not configurable, i hope i can use something like mi-pop or other soft-button app.
- i see, there are some other bug can be, there is a first build, so, feel free to write you first looks.

I've used your Treble Pie for a while and it's awesome. Gotta try this as well. Thanks a lot for all the work!
P/s: Can you make a custom overclocked kernel for your Pie ROMs? I've been using Extreme Kernels (for stock Oreo) and they are amazing. I wonder if Pie can also get a similar kernel.
Yeah bro thanks for this work..can you optimize kernel to make sodp rom usable

Hi,
Can you please help me with the download from the GSI? Where can I get the right file from?
after install, bluetooth and settings tell me that it stops all the time and sim cant be detected. Also there is some encryption so i can't access data or system anymore with twrp... even magisk can't be installed. great...
After running into a ton of errors, I think I've done something wrong. I have a few questions:
1. Where does Disable ForcedEncryption (DFE) go to in the installation process? If I flash the zip before Lineage (or not flasing at all), the phone encrypts itself right on boot. If I flash DFE zip after Lineage, the camera (and all the sensors) die permanently.
2. Regardless of the phone's encryption status, sometimes the phone just fails to recognize all the sensors (except Wifi, battery and GPS). That means no accelerometer, no screen rotation, no compass or light sensor. Rebooting fixes this on Lineage (for a while), but on RR once it occurs all sensors die permanently. Also GPS reception is terrible, as I haven't got a single fix.
Hope anyone who has been using Treble roms could give me an answer. Thanks in advance.

New version of LOS 16 + Treble
This version of LOS is outdated and does not work on latest Treble.
An updated LOS build (with Expanded volume and latest security patch) can be downloaded on this thread and installed over latest Treble.
Since this phone requires arm64 A-only GSIs to boot, the compatible version should be lineage-16.0-2019xxxx-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_avN.img.xz.
Installation tutorial: Click here. Keep in mind that system.img refers to the LOS build above.

Thanks man the ROM is great! But is it possible to make the camera work like it did on the original Xperia X stock ROM. I mean the camera is pretty dark on all custom ROMs is there any fix for that?

You can use Chippa_a's Unofficial LOS16 instead. That one has some heating issues and gaming performance might not be optimal (due to CPU throttling), but camera and battery life is almost identical to stock. In fact, I only use Treble LOS as daily driver because I play games on my phone quite a lot.
If you still insist on using Treble however, you can check out Google Camera ports (scroll down a little bit on Treble page). With HDR+ or Night Mode the picture quality is stellar, but taking pictures might be a bit slow. As far as I know it only runs on Treble and Omni.

Yeah I am using the gcam port and I get pretty good pictures with it but not very good video quality so I guess I'm gonna give it a try to Chippa_a's Unofficial LOS16.

--New Build Up v5.6--

Changelog:

Hello, the apps take too much time to load and the rom is a bit slow in general. Is this normal, or how can I speed things up?
I'm using a microsd for internal storage (adopted), though apps are installed on onboard storage.
Magisk and xposed are also installed.
The rom is good though, no complains.
(forgot to add: battery drain is too much (not so bad on battery saving mode)).
(2)Forgot to add: the microsd card is a sandisk uhs 1 card with up to 80 mbps so it ain't slow.
Apparently flashing dragon elite 1.4 and tuning with theragingbeast improves the battery drain issue. But general sluggishness still remains. Guys tell me what have you got.

Thanks for your work @shubhkirtisharma. I tested this rom on my K5 plus(2GB). Yes, there is some lag in the opening of some applications and the battery drain is little bit faster then in "Oreo". But overall the rom is stable and I think it is suitable for daily usage - no major bugs, "deep sleep" also is OK. The only bug that i found (the same is in the Viper OS) is that the location service only works with GPS - "High accuracy" and "Battery saving" cannot be activated.
Thanks again! I'll be waiting for the next update.
