Hey, I have a redmi note 4 snapdragon version and I have flashed aosp extended rom latest pie version in it everything is fine but I cannot get the picture in picture mode to work for any app.
It only works for YouTube Vanced but I want it to work for youtube too.
Help.

YouTube PiP works only if you pay for YouTube Premium. If you want it for free, use YouTube Vanced

I have a LG Phoenix running CM10 Thrive ROM. I know the rom wasn't meant for the phone but it works fine. The only issue I have is with YouTube. The app does not play videos and forces close most of the time. I tried several fixes but none worked. Please help! I think I have to install a codec, any help with that would be appreciated.

Tried Youtube 1.0, 2.3 and 3.1. None worked. The integrated player for the ROM doesn't work for online flash videos either. It just skips to the end and won't play.

Thanks, but I got Youtube as well as the camera working on my P505 using a later build. Thanks for the help! I will use the apk and see what it can do.
Hey, in snapdragon 650 spec we can see that recording in 120FPS in FullHD res is supported. Is it possible to make it working on MIUI??
Also is able to record in 4K but only with Google Camera...
Probably needs Third Party Support.

I've tried 4k recording with open camera on MIUI build by Xiaomi.eu
In good light record is nice quality and smooth but when it's dark record becomes laggy and poor quality.
I dunno if it's software or hardware fault.
Just because the SoC supports [email protected], doesn't mean the camera support it too, or does it?

Go for lollipop version
The latest that should work on MM6.0.1 is ver 3.2.45. I used the 2.7.10 version from apkmirror.com. This produced relatively good 48megapixel photo sphere. The ground sections were a bit blurry, but in general it was okay.
Ver 3.2.045 works for images and related features, but not for video recording.
The one that comes with opengapps arm64.that completely looks like pixel camera.

I think that google camera 4.4 just supports android 7.1.x or above

If you insist using this pad, try alternative apps with Netflix contents included. I'm not sure if it's good to share the app here so I give you the name of the app instead. (Hints: p*pc**rn times)
Around 200$, it's really tough to get a good display tablet. That's why I am stucked with this pad as well.?

but if i have a subscription to netflix, seems unreasonable not to use it...
about the quality... well , before the MIUI update i could install from netflix website and it worked.!
i tried contacting netflix, they said android 8 support is in progress..seems weird, all other tablets with android 8 dont get netflix ?!

Recently I just found this link that might help you a lot, it's a modded Netflix app which allows NON L1 device to play episodes in high quality. Never tried on Mi Pad 4. Good luck.

about netflix hd, how do i know what is the current quality im watching?
I am on xiaomi.eu MIUI 10, installed the apk and hid root from it with magisk and it is working quite good. Only thing, it doesn't stream on my Chromecast and anycast, even with libcrypto blocker magisk module installed.
