As soon as they demonstrate that they are out of a "fork" of MIUIPRO rom it will be acceptable.
They have been reported many time in the past.
Discussion is open.

A great rom, one of the best I've tried in this and other terminals, give support, support and in their channels they always treat you with the respect you deserve.
Thanks to the developers for the rom.

Y're right. I also made use of it after MUIUPRO asked for money.
Not really fair, but It's a kind of parity...
Did you check if it is well encrypting at TWRP latest? Because I only found EU and Globe daughter able to well encrypt as it is mandatory for my peace of mind.

Hello, is this stable enough to be used as a daily driver? It's better than 11.0.3 android 9?

That was in the past! When the rom was good and had a lot of customization. As soon as they stopped copying miuipro stuff, the rom lost all customization.
The dev said it was because he changed the base rom to one more stable and that customization would come back, but he was never able to do it.
In my opinion, is not even better than miui EU. It's a normal miui rom with YouTube vanced and micro g installed. It doesn't make any sense to me.

It is stable as long as you do a CLEAN FLASH. I tried a dirty flash and device reboots every 5 min.

Do not flash this rom or any rom unless it specifically says its for X722. If your device gets bricked there is no Qfil files to fix it. At least none that have been released.
The thing about Miui that makes it good ( in my opinion) is the aesthetics.
You can achieve beautiful aesthetics with any Oreo rom and a good substratum theme. Try AEX, its comes with substratum built in, along with excellent theming.
If its Miui apps that you are after. Create a miui account and you will find many ported apps in their various forums.

Oxygen OS on Pocophone

I've noticed several videos about a fully functional oxygen os rom that works on poco. I'm planning to use it but before I do i want to know :
Do you get oxygen os updates?
If it doesn't will i have to reinstall a new version every time?
Is it possible to return to miui whenever I want?
If you can live with no fm radio, bad 3.5 mm audio output and dont mind installing an app to toggle between silent/ringing mode then go for it.....its one of the best custom ports for poco.
as for updates i didnt updating but most probably a clean flash is recommended.

2. Yes, indeed.

The best kernel for OOS (and generally for every ROM imo) is the provided stock kernel but yeah, that Telegram group is really toxic. I never say anything there because they can ban you for everything... Also, don't use custom kernels on OOS because they can break some functionalities.

Have the same. This issue was present on the previous build also.
Developer force dark mode also not working for me. Apart of these its running fine.
Why is there Services & Feedback app installed in the stable release? or another fake stable ?
for me still the v10.3.17 is the best build stable channel ever had.

I did another fresh install. Flashed latest CN fastboot > latest Orange Fox > xiaomi.eu rom with magisk.
I am not sure how but the browser lag is, I would say "bearable" now. Definitely better than before, but still not as good as official stock. Maybe worth a try.

Can you send me the full procedure on how to do that. I cannot find compatibility zip in the rom file.
Tried dirty flash, everything was laggy AF. But when I did a clean one (wipe EVERYTHING) now its smooth.
This build is just like 10.4.6 in term of stability. The bugs presented in 10.4.6 are still in this build. Who ever still on 10.3.17, waiting for a proper stable build, don't try this.

I agree the best .eu rom was .17. I used it for a lot keep going back to it. I however wanted an Android 10 rom so I'm on the latest India. NFC is not important for me but system stability without bugs is. I do recommend it if anyone wants Android 10. Unfortunately the mi9t pro global and eea are quite behind of updates. The device wasn't even listed on the miui11 roll out news.

I flashed back .17 build now. Much much better. I tried 10.4.6 before and thought I'd better wait for MIUI 11 stable. Soo disappointed. I Wasted my day.
Didn't though about indian Q rom. Are the animations fluid like in pie build?

India is not bad but the reported chrome stater (lag) when scrolling on pages is present. Looks like its an Android 10 Chrome issue. Maybe Chrome not been optimised to the miui android 10. My OP7pro doesn't have any issue like this.
Animations are as good as the pie was. What I like in these official roms is the finger print seems to work much better then for example on the eu roms (at least for me). I had an odd unrecognised fingerprint scan even on .17 but the latest india seems to be more fluid on that. Take a backup and try .
Its an early rom so quirks are expected. Its usable for me.

[ADVICE] Installing Rom

Hello everyone,
I've been using the Pocophone F1 for quite some time now and really like it but I'd like to install another rom because I don't want all the bloatware.
I did already watch some tutorials which explains how to unlock the bootloader but where do I download the right TWRP version? (I think I have the international version of the Pocophone)
Also, Pixelrom seems very good or would you guys recommend another rom?
Thanks in advance!

Each ROM has its own uniqueness. What may be the best ROM for me may not be the best ROM for you. Once you try a new ROM for a few days, try changing ROMs. You will settle for one that you like best. Some ROMS will have Battery life, some have performance, some are pleasing to the eyes, some have additional features that you may like, some may have features that you don't use at all. So asking which is the best ROM is not correct.
Try different ROMs, the Opening Post will tell you its USP, decide and go ahead.

A real quick question

Goodday fam...
Okay I'm new here, .I just want to drop a brief beginner's question. I actually got some helpful answers but they don't just hit the nail. Hope someone can be of assistanae cos i'm literally tired of searching. Okay, this is how my question goes: I'm a guy wanting to flash a custom Xiaomi.eu rom on my RN9S that shipped with miui 11 a10, can I actually flash a rom that says "v13-11" or "v12-10", for example, without updating the stock rom first to miui 12?
Bootloader unlocked.
Much thanks for replies!

Ohh, sorry...can I also flash a rom that is not based on my phone's android version?
You can flash any rom, provided it is for your device (curtana) and if the current rom is in A12, you will have to format the data to flash an A11, not necessary for A11 to A12.
If you don't understand, post an example.
