Anyone have any thoughts on the new update that they would like to share? - OnePlus 7T Pro (Regular & McLaren) Q & A

I'm referring to update 10.0.4.
Specifically I'm looking to know how much they "really" improved the standby power consumption.

I am stunned, they really really improved it.

I've said this in another thread a while back and people started to jump at me, so i left it alone!!!! It doesn't actually change battery performance, just the reading accuracy!!
actually wiping battery stats is good when you first flash a rom because you'll be flashing someone else's battery stats which creates irregular measuring; therefore, you would want to wipe the stats and create your own. but to Calibrate battery over and over with it... no point really...

So is it means that when a Dev built his Rom, it will carry over his phone's current state of battery status into the new Rom and everybody who flash his rom will get his battery status? I'm confused a bit here ...

Android OS and Android system battery drain. All info included, wakelocks, alarms etc

Hi My android os and android system has the same or even higher battery usage than screen, than something must be wrong. I'll try to give u guys as much info as I can. I included wakelock detecotr, gsm battery, stock battery monitor and betterbattery screenshots, also alarm dump. This info is from only 8 % of battery drain, and I had light set to 0%, and was on WiFi, when I'm using mobile data and little bit of higher brigtness it is much worse. I've done everything from this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-extreme-battery-life-t3095884
Nothing helps. When using phone normally, browsing etc using mostly WiFi occasionally mobile data. And brigthness most of the time 0 to 7% and occasionaly 60 to 75 when outside. I have about 12 to 15 h with 3 to 3,5 SOT. I think I should squeeze little bit more, but I have no new ideas what I can do more, Can someone take a look on my info and maybe figure this out. Later I will post screenshot after more time on battery.

Use Better Battery Stats to produce a idle log file and upload it here. A guide about how to get such a log file can be found in post #6 of this thread. You might also want to apply all settings from this guide to decrease your battery drain.

Ah, I see. Then grab the idle log file and upload it to the Extreme Battery Life thread. The OP of this thread, v7, is quite active and might help you with your issue.

I've searched a little bit, but no answer.... there's the same issue happening to a redditor but no one could figure it out, could it be the Android OS?!
That's really strange. I'm not getting many hits on it either.
I did find a reference to the number in another XDA thread. A user was having battery drain problems and he posted a Better Battery Stats log. This line showed up:
Google+ was using the Network quite a bit:
10175 (Wifi) (com.google.android.apps.plus.Google+): 394.0 MBytes 41.6%

Is the 10175 number a coincidence? I'm not sure. It might be a broken reference to wifi usage.
Perhaps you should also log your usage using better battery stats and see?

3hours and 40 minutes still 22% left. Normally around 2.5/3.5 hours i didnt use my phone much today. Cyanogenmod System used 670mA my screen 550mA. Thought thst screen was the biggest drainer lol.

Oh cool, yes screen uses the most battery, but you are getting 3hrs SOT is good.
Use battery spy and CPU spy to track background activity.
Also 3:40h of SOT is good depending on a lot of factors.

Battery drain?

Is there something wrong with my phone? I have it over a year now and i noticed that during this time, its battery life completely dropped.
First it was like 70% of battery at the end of the day,
then like about 55 to 60 and now its 45.
i found out that google app is drainig a lot of power but obviously there is no way to stop it or to uninstall it.
Any advices? Im on stock 8.0.0.378 European software, zero modifications.
