Thanks all of you for liking my K20 Pro framerate OC mod, but I will NOT make any display OC mod because some users in China actually discovered physical damage on their phone screens.

Very good news !

Working great. Thx

Just flash the .img in fastboot and boot into recovery straight away using button combination. No need to reflash the .zip. I just flash magisk 20.2 right after and everything work fine.

of course, why not. Orange is basically another distro of TWRP

so there is no need to flash first the dummy file?

On mine it boot just fine. Take quiet a while on first boot.
Remove lockscreen password if you want it faster

i'm not talking about the rom, i'm not able to boot into the twrp.. i can flash it, but when i reboot i'm stuck on xiaomi recovery 3.0.. after that, i have to wipe everything through they own recovery and then i'm able to boot the phone again to the os..

it doesn't matter.. i flash the recovery the normal way, fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and then fastboot boot recovery.img.. after that the phone boot directly to the os.. if i turn it of and try the power & vol+ i'm ending in the xiaomi recovery.. if i didn't press anything the phone ends in an bootloop, it stuck for some time with mi logo and after that it boots into the xiaomi recovery again.. to fix the loop i have to wipe everything and boot the phone.. if i just try to boot the twrp without flashing, fastboot boot recovery.img, the phone directly boot to the os.. so it doesn't matter how i'm trying to boot to twrp, it doesn't work..

There is fresh new firmware for your model and country!
2015-05-21 Venezuela 4.4.2 G313FXXU0AOD1
from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G313F/
I can send you only stock recovery for now to flash it with Odin. Compiling new ROM/recovery asks for too much time and HD free space...
Try this: http://www26.zippyshare.com/v/5skEnZli/file.html
new stock recovery for SM-G313F and repacked ClockWorkMod recovery for SM-G313HN with SM-G313F kernel.
MAYBE it works for you, but use it at your own risk.
I'm not responsible for any damage to your device. If it does not work, reflash it with stock recovery.
Installation:
1. Download the RAR-file.
2. Unpack it.
3. Power off your phone and boot it to Download-mode by pressing Vol. down + Home + Power.
4a. Flash the CWM-recovery-G313F.tar.md5 with Odin. Use PDA/AP. Make sure that Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked. Leave everything else unchecked.
4b. Flash stock-recovery-G313F.tar.md5 with Odin. Use PDA/AP. Make sure that Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are checked. Leave everything else unchecked, if CWm not works for you.

Yes i have auto reboot and f. Reset time checked only
I updated the Odin-package so that it has an empty cache image. That should help with some failed/stuck recovery flashes. I never had this issue, so I can't confirm it fixes that. Also emptying the cache is recommended anyway, so this will take care of that too. Also added a detailed/noob proof Odin-flash instructions with pictures.

Some People make nandroid backup of all 6 partition for 300-fu and put on this forum for me? I don't have PC and i don't make start. I'm make bootloop for flash this.
Hi there, I just flashed this deodex version from here but I'm stuck for a while now (a lot more than 8 minutes !) on the Samsung Galaxy A3 boot logo...
What should I do ? Try to get back to TWRP (if I still got it...) to restore my old original Samsung ROM ?
Thanks for your advices !
Edit : Well... this one was tricky. If someone is in the same case once : stuck on Samsung boot logo, trying to cut off power via Power+Home buttons not responding... I succeeded to enter download mode, then flashed again auto root by Chainfire then flash TWRP and ASAP enter recovery mode. Had to do it two or three time because it tried to enter in normal mode (and then bootloop). Then I restored my backup from TWRP.
I don't know why your deox didn't work...
You must first upgrade on 5.0.2 from odin.
If anyone is flashing the zips from post 1 then you definately need to be on lollipop already or update with odin. If you update with odin and lose imei/unknown baseband, you may need to flash twice. Modem fails to install on first flash. As always, run odin as administrator.

I had a similar adversity. At first I didn't know what to do as well when my phone's stuck in Samsung Galaxy A3 bootlogo(not to be confused with boot animation). Then I found out it was because I did a full wipe before flashing the Deodexed.zip. So in short, the solution to your problem is simply not do a wipe before flashing the Deodexed.zip. You must straight flash the Deodexed.zip without wiping anything(scripts are already written in the zip itself). That worked for me as the phone finally gets through the bootlogo. Hope this can solve your problem.
OMG! Guys, can you see "wipe system" in installation instruction? No? I'm too. It's just because no MUSTN'T do any wipes.
So, restore you nandroid backup and flash zip without wiping.

"recovery-20170729-1913.img" this image, for me it's not a big deal the rotation of twrp but is unuseable, the touch screen doesn't work, the volume or power either, I can't do anything. Now, after flashing with fastboot command "fastboot flash recovery x.img" I noticed that the recovery stay there for awhile, then return to stock recovery

I think it is an port bug
but you can test the themed ver and it is has 720x1280 and 1 st img has 1080x1920 screen so it is unuseable
and the stock recovery retenus is a filename recovery-from-boot.p he flash stock recovery
so after the twrp work you can root and delete it using an exploer

hi
this is my first doogee and i ran into a little problem.
i tested that recovery.img. so i unlocked my bootloader and flashed that recovery with fastboot.
now if i power on the phone it says untrusted ( thats normal i know) but it dont boot up.
it goes into the recovery and because of no touch etc i cant to anything.
i even cant go into the bootloader where i can choose fastboot option. (vol+ and power dotn work anymore)
i have tried flashtools but there i get a brom cmd send da error.
anyone knows a soultion?
p.s: you said you noticed that the phone goes into stock recovery again after some time. how ?
edit:
nevermind. fixed it with flashtools
i edited some things in flashtool settings.
1.For download agent select DA_PL.BIN ( all in one cant work in this problem)
2.menu Options -> connection - > choose usb full speed with battery

Skeleton you're make it to run twrp? I always have problem, it boot but I can't basically do anything
------------------------------------------------
Tried the flashing with fastboot, the twrp doesn't boot at all. Another thing guys, i'm not a linux programmer but if I unzip the recovery image I see that the permissions for almost thing aren't 0777 (which means that the recovery take permission to WRITE , to read and EXECUTE) Tell me if I'm wrong.

I ran into a problem .
What happend:
I finished to build my rom. Used flashtools to flash it. All went good . But then at 80% my pc shuts down.
I thought W*F ,
Now the phone is dead. Even boot to bootloader dont work. I will try to fix it , hope I can manage that.
(P.s using flashtools again don't work . I get a hash mismatch error. I think the preloader or bootloader is damaged.. we will see.
To your question.
No custom recovery. The first version of my rom will be without root. Use magisk with patched boot.img to get root . But without r/w permissions, because of the stock recovery

[Xiaomi Mi Pad 4] Android Generic System Image installation Guide

I started a little Android Generic System Image installation Guide on my Github :

(work in progress)

Is it really device-infov or is it typo.

PS: Does Android P GIS work well? Are there any known issues so far?
Please do include the build.prop tweaks mentioned here - those are quite necessary for the device to function as a tablet.

None of those P GSIs boot.
Anyone able to root using Magisk on v9.6.23 boot.img (http://en.miui.com/thread-3538488-1-1.html)? Magisk patched boot.img doesn't seems to boot for me and I have to revert to stock boot.img.
Edit: hah, never mind. I forgot to disable forceencrypt when i flashed the new stock kernel and it encrypted data. Had to wipe data and unencrypt to root again.
Magisk on GSI is incompatible with adb usb debug mode, no ?

Hi
Could You please write with recovery version is this? There are 2 recovery versions as of 2018.7.13 and 2018.7.11 with description like bellow:
2018.7.13 update
1. Fix the problem of not recognizing the external memory card.
2. After brushing in twrp, the first time you enter twrp, it may restart once. This is normal. If you restart repeatedly, or you cannot decrypt the data, please give me feedback in time.
2018.7.11 update:
1. Update the attempt to repair the decrypted data, and expect whether the follow-up can reach the expected.
2. After brushing in twrp, the first time you enter twrp, it may restart once. This is normal. If you restart repeatedly, or you cannot decrypt the data, please give me feedback in time.

Hi !
What's the difference between ab version and aonly version ?
EDIT: I flash today Android Pie GSI version.
After flashing GSI, you can found Open GAPPS unofficial here: https://builds.nezorfla.me/?dir=opengapps/pie/arm64
For no error 70, before flashing Open GAPPS, you must do that: Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select System -> Repair or Change File System -> Resize File System -> Swipe to Resize
After, you can flash Open GAPPS, Magisk (for root) and Dm-Verity, and finally reboot

MiPad4 is only a partition. There is no b partition for seamless updates.
So far I didn't install any GSI but I've have installed China stable, developer and xiaomi.eu roms and I didn't have to resize system partitions. An ROMs are bigger maybe that's why You need to extend partitions but installation should end with error because of lack "b" partition

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.
Code:
* Your warranty is now void.
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or your getting fired because the alarm app failed.
* Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this Recovery
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications
* If you point the finger at me for messing your device. i will laugh at you
Special Notes:*
1. DON'T FORGET TO ENABLE "OEM UNLOCK" (located in Developers options).
2. KNOX will be tripped once you flashed custom binaries to your phone.*
(Your warranty may be voided. However this may not affect you if your country forces Samsung to provide hardware warranty regardless of software status.)
3. Samsung Firmware OTA (aka System Updates) will no longer work once you flashed custom binaries.
(You can flash custom ROMs if you want to keep the OS up-to-date.)
4. All apps that use KNOX like Samsung pay, Secure Folder and maybe more will no more work.

Quick Root and TWRP.
A quick method is found here.https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a20/how-to/guide-quick-root-twrp-galaxy-a20-t4069423
Make sure you backup boot, data & system (not system image) before you go on to install GSIs
This TWRP was originally designed for Android 9 but works perfectly with Android 10.
It also comes with MTP built-in.
