Is there an option to upload latest colosos 7 firmware for cph1919? Not everybody can choose "trials" in the settings
If there was another way to get Android 10 I would appreciate too. Neither my 10x is showing the Trial option.

Yup, did those 2 before connecting to vpn. Once connected, straight away I got the trial update, so grabbed it .

Having the trial version of ColorOS 7 (India build) working fine on my Oz phone, I assume we can always manually download and install the final India build when it comes out (hopefully much sooner) without having to wait for Q2 arrival here in Aus. Just my 2 cents

Yes but it's called 2 different things. It's either Reno 5g or Reno 10x zoom.

Have no such menu in settings. Which ROM number do you have? Mine is 132
I believe you are using L29 model, mine is A09 US specific version with 8.0.0.110 rom.
Just on the xda front page that the Mate 10 range is getting face unlock as well as raise to wake!

C432B141 and C432B142 has it.
You'd have to use HWOTA or HuRUpdater from TWRP to flash it.
Am I going to get it OTA in future, I don't want to root my phone, not so good at it...

My device is a Huawei Mate 10 ALP-L29, currently EMUI 8.0 8.0.0.138 C636.
I received the GPU turbo update a few days ago while I'm at work so I had to cancel and delay it. However, when I went to the Updater app after two days, I couldn't find it anymore! A couple of refreshes aren't enough to bring the OTA update prompt back.
Any chance I'm doing something wrong? How do I bring back the OTA update? Right now, my phone can't seem to detect it anymore.

Guys. I am planning to buy a gaming phone and 2 choices - Redmagic 5G and Black shark 3 pro. I am slightly more attracted to BS3 because of larger screen, and physical triggers but slightly concerned about few features, or lack of it. Could you please help me with few queries?
1) NFC - If I convert to global rom, would NFC work? BS3 global version (official), will come later this week but is super expensive in my country (S$1050 for RM5g vs. S$1500 for official global BS3 pro / S$1300 for china rom BS3 pro
2) What are the chances of root and custom roms (unpaid) coming on XDA? I definitely would want a global rom on my phone with root access.
3) Current owners, do you find the phone durable? I am hearing some complaints about the RM5g already (screen burn, dirt accumulating in the internal phone fan etc.)

The shopkeeper I deal with has pre ordered some sets, which he will get by this week. Probably EU edition, supports all bands and Google installed out of the box.
May i know what issues you had with RM3? I am slightly bent towards BS3 but almost 40% higher cost (for global) and lack of custom dev support makes me nervous.

Haha yes, i write this with my Mate 20 X
Well i see that tomorrow, how the CN rom is and bloatware. Most bloatware i always remove this way: https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access. So when you flash the global rom you don't get updates anymore?

yep, because on BS3Pro you must unlock the bootloader and flash twrp and then flash the global rom from there, I was told you get Otas by IMEI (its IMEI locked) and also the global rom that you will flash isnt the first global rom released (official global rom is 20.2.28) and you will flash 20.2.24 so you gonna experience some bugs from that leaked version

Yeah i just got it, playing with it now.
First thing i notice is that the power button is way to high, but damn it's so much faster and brighter then Mate 20 X. :laugh:

There was one ota update and Google was already installed by TradingShenzhen. Tonight i will try to remove bloadware and the MoreLocale trick to get the apps in my language.

MoreLocale trick worked and got the apps in my language now. Most bloadware you can unistall by phone. I only used the bloadware trick to remove the standard browser.
There is still something that blocks notifications. I thought it was the security app (that was the fix for Chinese Huawei/Honor phones), but when removed the problem was still there.

Were you able to change the language of the AppStore with this trick? Also out of curiousity, what app did they use to install google services on your phone?
I got mine from Wondamobile and they used this app that is in chinese (apk name is com.goplaycn.googleinstall) with no language options (that I can find), was wondering if anyone knows whether I ever have to update this app or do I never touch it ?

on emui 10, glitter theme, I didn't like the new one due to color/icon choices but I turned on the dark mode setting now.
on emui 9, I used the pure google theme to make it a "dark mode"

I am from Croatia and a few days ago a guy postet he got his p20 update and i got official answer from huawei that p20/mate 10 will start recieving update in the middle of the month. For every device to get update it will take 2-3 weeks max. I hope that it helps.

I switched country to China in the Support app (HiCare) and got the update instantly.
BTW: the "swipe sideways to change app" gesture on the fingerprint reader is not working, anyone else has this issue?

We will get JoyUi 12.5 in december according to BS facebook page but do not expect that you will be able to root or modify this device because there is no kernel source out so modding and rooting is pretty close to impossible.

My blackshark is dead just after 2 years, first data transfers and quick charge stopped working then batery bulged up pushing display a bit out and now it is completely dead.

yes but don't know when officially they said they giving us JoyUI 12.5 this December.
The chinese version already has joyui 12.5 android 11 but I haven't installed it yet, I'm hoping to install global version when available
