Your IP address and UserAgent string (browser version, etc.) are already known the moment you request the picture. From there, you can just use any GeoIP database to find the location. Nothing creepy at all if you get how the internet works.

I think you could use region TTT (Trinidad and Tobago) but if you want to knows the region you have now:
To get your EMEI number type *#06" in the dialer
Then type the following *#272*Here the EMEI number of your phone#

disable the whitebalance functionality ?
