if you can still hold it there isn't problem usually and if this happen only when you play heavy game is a normal thing.
it isn't bad, is normal that the cpu and the gpu of your phone became hot when they are at full load

It heats up for me only in Lineage 2 when you set all at very high. NF YT no problems 4k HDR 60 fps smooth as butter... at least for now (3 weeks in)

Lineage 2 revolution and it isn't burning? Play the game 1st and you'll get extreamly hot in upper right corner. Only in this game happens, all others worked fine and I've tested all demanding ones

Its a good option for the price. You can run pubg mobile on balaced details and ultra frame rate. Really good camera due to the IMX516 sensor and excellent when paired with the Gcam port for realme 3 pro. Battery life is excellent with about 7 hours of continuous heavy gaming. Used to get heated up during long time gaming sessions (over 2 hours of continuous gameplay).

Do we need to root it for Gcam? Heating after continuous gameplay that you mentioned will also hold true for less graphic intensive games?

You need not root the device as you get level 2 support for camera2api out of the box. And the heating issue is only for graphic intensive games like pubg mobile, ashpalt 9 legends etc

You could do that but for my usage I didn't need to use the level 3 support. The above mentioned Gcam apk allows us to use the nightscape mode along with the regular mode and portrait mode. Files can be saved in HDR+ along with RAW file formats.

Never had any touch issue in my device
I'm thinking about buying Mi 10 but before that I need to be sure that it can deliver overall performance comparable to 2021 flagship killers as I'll use it for at least next 3 years.

No heating issue while using or gaming, i charge my phone thorough power bank so can't comment on heating while charging.
I am currently on xiaomi.eu rom and its super smooth

which rom did you use?
After update fastboot using rom eu 13.0.6.0, I always get game relog
So example, when I open mobile legend, and then opening whatsapp or facebook, then when I go back to my mobile legend, it relog to loading page again. Very frustating
i do have overheating issues.
After a game like diablo immortal - phone keeps reducing screen hz due to overheating, after a time its ok.
