ROM with best battery life and automatic call recording - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Miui has a great option included in dialer allowing to record every voice call.
Is there any other ROM that has this feature and great battery life?

Havoc Q latest and Nitrogen Q both have automatic call recording and pretty good battery life.

Thank you, any other propositions?

I would recommend EvolutionX

It has automatic call recording?

What would you recommend half year after?

Pixel v5 ported rom don't know about recording but beat for battery life

Thank you for another recommendation.
Now I'm trying Lineage OS 17 .1 Nightly, without any GooSpy apps, works pretty well and has great battery life
But Automatic call recording is built in only to MIUI and Havoc.
It's really strange, because much of ROMs have call recording implemented well, but it's not automatic.

I have used crDroid P and Q for nearly 7.5 months and battery life is very good. With arter kernel active drain varied between 5.5-6.5%/h. With stock OD 6-7%/h. And with NGK 7-8%/h but it delivers the most fluid experience so worth the small decrease in battery life. This is purely with my usage patterns. YMMV.
crDroid Q has always-on automatic call recording and works flawlessly.

Dear friend, you are my salvation, thank you for sharing information about this application. Axet Call Recorder works like a charm on Lineage OS 17.1 . I suppose that on ROMs that have dot on caller app for record call, it will record calls perfectly.
Big thanks for sharing this application dear Friend

In Trip's MIUI ROM there is a built-in call recording feature, easily accessible when you are on the phone and it works perfectly!
If you really need to record calls, that's the way to go! ;-)

I was under the same impression, but I have managed to get Tasker to record all incoming and outgoing calls under Wolf's 6.1.3. ROM.
Using Trip's MIUI too.And the call recording works well.Maybe u could try this rom. It's really beautiful and has good battery life.If u're under other 2.2 roms, try use other recording apps to solve this problem.
thanks guys!
@Galaxea i'll try tasker maybe it'll work i really don't want to try Miui

Call Recording software for cm11 i9100

I don't think it's possible... I'm still trying to find solutions for cm 10.2 (android 4.3). The easiest way is to flash stock roms. I just tried Omega v24, but reverted back to cm because i don't like in any way the stock rom look. The call recording on Omega works great though.
In your place i would forget call recording on CM/AOKP roms.
I wasn't able to find absolutely any solution for call recording on any CM/AOKP based roms above 4.1.2 (even though i read somewhere around here that call recording is possible for 4.2.2 roms).
If you find any solutions please inform me, maybe it will help me as well.

Try any thirs party app and see if that works.

I forgot to specify something. If you want LINE recording, then i don't think that is possible. MIC recording on the other hand is a different story. Most call recording apps in the play store support MIC recording (not sure about CM 11, but CM 10.2 works), but again, low chances for LINE recording support. Hopefully you will find something that suits your needs.
try acr call recorder. I think it worked on paranoid android rom. the quality will not be very good but it will be better than the microphonE recording.

Boldbeast Call Recorder works, it records calls perfectly in two sides on Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 Cyanogenmod Android 4.4.4 CM11.
Look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...corder-galaxy-htc-t2923904/page3#post57087069
Boldbeast records in good quality but it fails to record automatically. I am using OmniRom, otherwise manual recording works fine. Another app is ACR (round red icon with white telephone). It records two way but the other side's voice is too weak

It has a trial preview available in the free version which says that it records only 30 seconds. I had activated this but it didn't work automatically.

Can you please click the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" item in Boldbeast Recorder to send hardware log files to me? let us have a look at them and see what happened.
Thanks.

I received your log files and checked them.
There is a bug in your Galaxy Note GT-N7000 phone - when a call comes sometimes the ROM doesn't notify the recorder correctly, as several other phones like HTC One E8, Galaxy 7102 etc,
We changed our app and it now can bypass this bug, I have sent the new version V7.2 (beta) to you by email, please install it and test again.

Help, Getting Low Speaker Sound in Nitrogen OS 8.1, Kenzo

I am using latest Nitrogen OS 8.1 ROM in my Redmi Note 3 since last week, I love everything about this ROM compared to MIUI but the Sound which I get from speakers while listening songs or watching videos is quite low as compared to MIUI.
In MIUI the sound quality and loudness was much better but in Nitrogen OS this is not the case,
Please help me to get equal sound quality and loudness from speakers which I used to get from MIUI,
I will be thankful to you

Question call recording, what are you using and what setting work for you?

there are a few ways to record calls with the pixel 6, some work and some only work with exact settings. what are you using and what setting do you use? please put what system update you are on also please.
1. call recorder- SKVALEX, paid App. works very well on pixel 6. Recording files can be encrypted or uploaded to the cloud.
2. workaround to use google dialer to record. also works well for me here in China.
https://github.com/jacopotediosi/GoogleDialerMod
Axet call recorder, use the magisk module and do NOT accept the update.
GrapheneOS is implementing call recording based on LOS call recording, but with additional setting for automatic recording: https://github.com/GrapheneOS/platform_packages_apps_Dialer/pull/11

Thanks for that. I've been using the mod that enables the built-in Google Phone app recording but you have to click it manually on each call. Also doesn't seem to save a recording unless you press "stop recording" before ending the call. Could just be my settings. It's this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/mod-root-googledialermod.4330055/. Has a ton of other settings that I haven't looked into as well. The Axet 1.713 (called v1.0.1 on the Github page) works perfectly and sounds a little clearer with the .mp3 and CD quality suggestion.

It does but I am struggling to find the settings to best hear the caller.
The ones I have tried all seem very soft. Would be interested to hear if someone has any suggestions on this.
Axet call recorder, which was working great seems to randomly just start recording silence.
anyone have a fix? i know to not use the latest update app from fdroid and use the magisk module.

Use BCR: https://github.com/chenxiaolong/BCR
If you look under "releases", the zip file it provides is a MAGISK MODULE.
This program is way simpler, and way more reliable than axet, which is pretty much perpetually broken these days.
