Bluetooth calling lag in my car - OnePlus 7T Pro (Regular & McLaren) Q & A

In my car tata harrier, Bluetooth is working fine for music but not for outgoing calls. Incoming calls can connect easily. When i open phonebook and dial a number, there is a lot of lag when i dial a number. Pressing the call button and the actual screen of calling on the infotainment system takes around 15-20 seconds to appear. The new update didn't fixed anything. I have tried to clear cache and data of bluetooth and my phone, reset the infotainment system also tried to repair both the devices, but still the problem remains. The issue only appears to be with my oneplus 7t pro because oneplus 6 is working fine in the case. Please help.

Acura HandsFreeLink for 8525 problem

I successfully paired Cingular8525 with Acura 2007 HandsFreeLink. But after it report successfull pairing, I can not use it. It saying phone not found. I use same phone before with PArot system without any problem.
If you go to Acura web site they report 8125 will not support call waiting and data link, but will support basic phone functions. But it does not work for me. Does anyone succesfully paired 8525 with Acura HandsFreeLink? Is 8525 better then 8125 in list of futures supported by acura?
Thanks
I successfully use the 8525 with my Acura TL's Bluetooth. (Previously used an 8125). It works, but occasionally it will drop the Bluetooth connection. This seems to be a known issue with Bluetooth on the 8525.
BTW To get battery level and signal strength meter on the Acura, you need to get the following program:

Mike
I have the same problem with my 2005 BMW 545i. Only stays connected when I leave the screen on. If I hybernate it, I lose bluetooth connection. The Jetware program did not seem to help.
sign up for the jetware beta -- might help
my TL also randomly drops the connection as well.
Question, when you answer an incoming call, does the HFL beep twice? Mine does, and the people on the other line can hear the second beep....
Oh well, just live with it I guess....
Bluetooth Acura paudible Tone problem
Yes, I also get dropped more than occasionally in the Acura bluetooth connection. Any fixes? Another Acura problem for me is that when audible tones are created to SEND tone data replies ( " hit 7 to disconnect"), the last tone in teh sudible series sticks and hangs on for 10 seconds or so. The tone message is sent and recieved, so the call actions continue in the background to the tone. Cingular says hardware and send back phone. Any alternative ideas ,or does everyone else have tone work ok?

this actually worked for me, however, the drain on the battery is siginificant, so if you can live with that, I have gone two weeks now without a dropped call....

[Q] Bluetooth problems (incoming calls)

Hi all,
Can't find any info on this topic, so therefore this post.
Phone is a galaxy S2 9100.
Headset tried Plantronics Voyager Pro and Discovery 975.
Outgoing calls work fine, exept when screen turns black, then after about 10-15 sec, sound in bluetooth dies. Can be reactivated when pressing home button, which brings the screen back.
Incoming calls (around 50% times), I can hear beeping in the headset, I can pick up the call (using headset or soft key), and can hear the caller speak. But the caller can't hear me. If I switch to speaker, still the same. But found out that if I press home button, which exits to home screen, then return back to phone app, the sound in bluetooth headset appears.
Another annoying thing is that when I'm at home, wifi is on and connected, sound is fine with no distortions or bluetooth fallouts. As soon as I leave home = no home wifi connection, every maybe 30 sec, I hear choppy sound in my bluetooth headset (the caller hears me just fine). I can make it go away by disabling wifi while in-call.
Have of course tried several different mods in service menu, although it helped a bit on the sound volume and echo, the bluetooth problems are the same.
Details:
Tried different phone.apk mods all the same
Tried different roms, all seem to behave the same
android: 2.3.6
Baseband: I9100XXKF2
Kernel: [email protected] #66
Build number: CheckROM RevoHD V4

Tried different roms, phone.apk's, resetting dalvik cache, system cache and still no luck.
Today I did a "full wipe", installed CheckROM RevoHD v6 and the problem seems to have disappeared. Made 5 incoming calls and bluetooth seems to be working as it should. Maybe it was just a question of wiping the /data partition...

8.11.15 auto speaker incoming call

I'm using miglobe 8.11.15 at every incoming call my speaker turns automatically on.
I found out that my telephone is still connected with bluetooth to my car Audio unit.
This unit doesn't shut off when the car key is out, so my phone is still connected when im sitting in the office.
Any way to force, that speaker doesn't turn on when still connected to bluetooth headphone?
(Game booster settings didn't work)
Bump up, added information too first post

Having Same issue
After the latest update I got this problem of auto speaker on incoming calls, please let me know if anyone knows how to fix it within the settings
Same problem here

Do a factory reset on your device and not forget to backup all your important data before you do so. It will solve.
I am also on 10.3.4 stable firmware and facing the same issue.
The speaker is turned on by default for incoming calls.
i need to know if there is a way to fix this without doing a factory reset.??
Please help

Phone(tmo ver) calls making electronic beeps and static sounds on wifi and network making it unusable.

Bought a phone second hand, is there any way to fix it? I can record the sounds if it would help. Voice sounds fine on video and voice notes but not on google duo.
Same sounds when using my bluetooth headphones for a mic.
Changing to 2g or 3g and turning off wifi don't change anything.
Also switched between LG's dialer and the google dialer.
Factory reset didn't fix it.
Tried a new sim, also didn't fix it.

Question Dialler issues after Android 13 Upgrade

Hey all, I'm wondering if anyone else has had issues with calls after upgrading to Android 13.
I am having 2 problems with calls
1) When I pick up calls on Bluetooth or loudspeaker, often people can't hear me until I switch to holding the phone to my ear, I can then switch back to Bluetooth or loudspeaker, and it works.
2) when I put a call on mute it automatically unmutes after about 20 seconds even though it still shows the mute button as turned on.
These issues happen on multiple different diallers, so they are clearly a phone problem and not to do with a specific dialler app.
Same here. Let's wait for an update. Temporaly I using a wired headset.
