[review] a suitable flash drive for usual reset after each MIUI update - Xiaomi Mi 9 Accessories

This month i bought sandisk ultra 128 GB dual drive USB type C which can be used easily on your pc or labtop using its usb port and can be pluged directly to your Mi 9 type C port. I use it for backing up all my phone data. It is small and light. And very fast. I bought it for about 20 US dollars .
It is very good flash drive and you will like it

I have got it, too for a few months, but 64 GB. I agree. It's very good, small and useful tool.

i prefer using network storage, MI9 has USB 2.0 spec, so transfer speeds are very low.

Continuous crashes

I bought this tablet for about 1 months, but I noticed continuous and frequent crashes, resolved only by rebooting, when playing streaming video. It's very maddening, almost every time I want to see a video the tablet crashes and I have to reset it, it happens 2 or 3 times before being able to watch the video This also happens to you or is that just my nerd? I also find it absurd that in the package there is no the USB adapter to connect it to PC, then saw that it is virtually impossible to find in any store. At least they could do the exit with an ordinary micro usb instead of a hard to find micro usb / a? What do you think?

The micro usb is common as in the Android scene. Is it not a micro B not the square edged micro A. Its the same for Android phones, the cable I use costs USD1of EBAY including shipping halfway across the world and works perfectly in all my android devices. Same with OTG adapters USD1 of EBAY and work a treat, even synced my PS3 controller using the cheap OTG. As for the crashing, prob best to go see Sony and get a replacement, sounds like you got a dud unit. Rel 2A so Italy or Germany then...... lol

Is not about money, it's not right that a usb adapter is considered as an accessory.
It or Deu....politically the worst one.......not lol

Since I update from HC to ICS, all file manager app connected to my Synology NAS no longer supports streaming anymore but keep crashing. Moreover, its Wifi signal can easily be interferenced by othdr 2.4Ghz device. Unluckily current version does not support 40Hz channel width resulting max transmission throughput to 65Mbps and not support 5Ghz for smooth video streaming experience. hope the next version Sony can note these to prevent disappointment.

LeEco Le Max 2 not charging

Hello I am new here so if I chose wrong category for my thread then I am sorry.
Recently I bought a new LeEco Le Max 2 and I charged it for like three times and yesterday was the last time it worked.
I have seen different solutions what to do so I went to local store to buy different USB-C cable but it didn't help me at all. I even bought another one from another local store because I thought the problem was that the new USB-C cable may be not working but second new USB-C cable didn't help me as well so I think the problem is in mobile. I have flashed latest LineageOS 14.1 so I thought QC may be not working but charging through PC / notebook is not working too. I am completely lost and sad because I have used the phone for three days and it's broken already. Can somebody somehow help me what to do? I do not really think there is some local store where they could help me... Thanks
what about the original charger that come with the mobile?
During three days, how did you charge it?
Hello. I think Lineage is not better idea in this case. I will rather try to flash original Chinese ROM if you are familiar with using TWRP.

Solution was third USB-C cable!
Today I went to local repair shop and the guy tried another USB-C cable and charging is working again. I cannot believe that I had such a bad luck I bought 2 bad USB-C cables but luckily third one is working already.

I charged the phone through original charger that came with mobile with QC supported but I haven't flashed Lineage at that time. After I flashed Lineage I started to have some problems. I don't know if that's the reason why I had problem with charging but now with working charging again I don't really care. I am sorry for making this thread. Admin can lock it somehow if this is how is forum still working
Usb-C cable is much more expensive than usual micro-usb. That's why I've bought micro-usb/type-C connector and always use micro-usb cable.

SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C Flash Drive

I mainly got this for my Google Pixel XL which has no SD card slot, but it's 128GB internally. Why do i need an SD card with 128GB of storage? Because every time i flash an Official Google img Build, it wipes the phone, All TWRP backups are gone, Titanium Backups are gone. Can't go wrong for the price...
So Amazon just dropped me off a SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C Flash Drive for my Pixel XL. I paid $12.99 for the 32GB version, and i only got a 32GB because my Pixel XL is 128GB and its going to be used mainly for TWRP back-ups...

sounds like you are struggling with encryption on that stock ROM. flashing the appropriate no_verity.zip should take care of that so you don't need USB stick

Yes it does get quite warm, no pretty hot, but you can touch it...
That Sandisk USB type-c flash drive is a piece junk, extremely slow to transfer files /pics/videos from the phone and become warm->hot. I have a 128gb version that just sit on my desk while I type this reply.

Otg not working in Mate 10 Pro

Hi.
I just bought my mate 10 pro and love it.
But I just notice that the otg doesnt wotk, or I dont know if hauwei needs a apecial adaptor or what.
I come from a LG V20 and I normally use a 4 in 1 card reader to conect it directly and it was great, now I try it in my mate and it doesnt detect, I bought a ner 4 in 1 card reader and is the same, do I need to enable something or any one has an idea of what could be the problem.
Thanks
mate 10 alp L29 8.0.0.129 (C185)
i hav two type c dongle nd an adaptor,it reads/detect the sd card but goes blank just as quick.when i plug in two notification pops up one sd/usb ready to use nd the other is 5 options like reverse charging,transfer.....
dunno where the prob is
Mine works fine (BLA-L29)
im having the same problem. just got this phone, and trying to use a protable hdd which worked with my Galaxy Note 8, Oneplus 6 and laptop. It just comes up with reverse charging. When i select MTP it just reverts back to reverse charging straight away. Please, any help or info would be appreciated. TIA
Looks like your adaptor is not supported. The Mate 10 Pro support anything (mouse, storage, keyboard.. ), got USB 3.1 and display port 1.2
ALP-L29 8.0.0.141 (c636)
Moving this thread up.
For the past two days now, I have encountered the same problem. When I plug in my HD via the OTG adaptor, I only get a notification for how the USB can be used, but I am unable to toggle between reverse charging and file transfer. It only goes to reverse charging. Any time you select file transfer, it goes back to reverse charging.
This also happened yesterday, and after unplugging and plugging the device again, I was able to mount the HD. Today, I don't have the same luck.
I'm using a uGreen OTG adaptor and a 1TB WD hard drive which I used flawlessly even with my old phones (Huawei P8 and P10Plus). I've used the same combo with my current Mate10 before, but I have encountered this problem after the latest update (for GPU Turbo).
Help?!
I try 2 different OTG and neither work. One for Radio shack and another Xtech. my Cellphone model BLA-L29. Any clue?

Question Slow data transfer speed

My s23 ultra was delivered today and I'm trying to transfer data from my Mac to the s23 and it's super slow. 500mb is taking 10+ mins. I tried transferring the same folder using the same cable to my Note 9 and it took less than 1 minute. Any idea why the s23 is so slow?
Double-check that your cable is USB3 - the cables that come with the devices are C-C but only USB2.

I've tried both USB 2/3 cables on the s23 ultra. My old note 9 transfers super fast using both cables
Here's another data point if anyone else runs into the same issue. Someone in another thread mentioned Samsung changed something in the s22 that effected file transfer speed on Mac and they were right. For the record I was using openmtp. Today I tried sending a 14gb folder of pictures and it took 18 mins using FTP. With openmtp it took a folder of images 1 hour to transfer 600mb. I then tried copying the same folders from my PC to the phone and it took about the same time as using FTP on my Mac.
