Hello there. We are working on AOSP PIE and OREO.
We need active testers to try and report bugs, please with logs, screenshots, without ETA's, without complaining about known things.
This will be an interactive thread, everone will put his help to progress by giving logs, reports and screenshots to get the result.
It is possible for this device, we will have stable oreo. But will take time and work

From what I can tell so far....
****What Works****
Internet - Stock Browser and Chrome,but not Firefox, see below
Phone calls
Text - Send and Receive pictures and text
Audio - 3.5mm headphone jack and back speaker, see below for Bluetooth
Video - Plays in VLC, stock browser and Chrome play youtube but some other sites don't play maybe because of slow 3g.
****What Doesn't Work****
Wifi - When enabled the button goes right back off
GPS - Tried Google Maps and Waze
Camera - Tried Open Camera and Footej Camera
Firefox - It opens but does not display the websites
Youtube App - Has spinning circle in player when video is picked
****What Works Partially/General complaints****
Bluetooth Speaker - It pairs but has choppy audio
Car Bluetooth - It pairs but there is no audio even though car
shows the call is up
Notification LED - It blinks but is always white instead of
green for texts and blue for missed calls
Downloads show when you pull down the notification
window but the arrow that should be in the Status Bar is
not there
Seems to drain battery too quickly

When I install it, a logo appears lineage As usual, but after a while, the phone returns to recovery mode

What works list:
- call
- sms
- data (3g, hsdpa, hsupa etc)
- market
- gps
- wifi
- hardware decoder (80%) it's only a bit slow
- sdcard mounting to pc (thanks tristan)
i guess thats all that works for now

Hi,
been playing aroud fo 10 minutes now and loving it, the boot animation is cool the theme and lockscreen amazing, thankyou so much for all your hard work.
To confirm my Hspa is woking fine after crash system server.

I've been looking for the commit that caused my instagram videos to stop working. It also affects mirroring the screen to a chromecast. That's on the horizon. What is definitely new is some changes to the snd_soc_msm file that came from someone at CM.
If there are any blatant issues let me know And I'll see what I can do to remedy them.

I've been using it all day today and I haven't noticed anything totally funky. There is still the Netflix bug where you have to tap at different places on the seek bar to get a clear image. Also the Camera doesn't record video higher than QVGA. The Netflix bug goes all the back to Cyanogenmod but the Video recording may be fixable.
Tried the fix for the camera under cm11 thread ? Many reported it worked but it still fc'd

Try the OpenCamera from play store
Stock camera doesn't work even after the fix ..!
I found the media profiles fix but it looks like I'm still getting errors trying to upload videos to Instagram. The video plays back as all black. I'll add it to the ROM anyway. Maybe I can figure out if it's just Instagram or the media encoding.

@kjjjnob is right. The recents are in 4.5 And I haven't been able to find that source on github but someone can point me to it if I'm wrong. At the moment I'm making a mirror so I can put out 4.45 later this week but I derped and forgot to do it before I left school earlier this week so I'm using my home internet that is about 150 KB/s. It may be later this week.
The 1080p fix for the back camera doesn't actually result in working recording. When trying to stop the recording it force closes the camera at least with the google camera. I've left it out for this reason until I find something that actually makes it work.

I do check out the stuff he pushes but haven't really added anything device specific yet. How does the man know so much Motorola stuff? He's gotta have some kind of inside experience.

Dhacker is magic ahah. Maybe you try to talk with DJLamontagneIII, he merge updates on Slim Kang rom (CAF and prima updates) from Team Gummy kernel The last build works perfect, what's the problem with Instagram?

Whenever I record a video with instagram and try to upload it I get nothing but black video. Audio works fine on it but for whatever the reason the video doesn't show.
Has anyone got Netflix to work without xposed?

My device is Redmi Note 4X black 3/32GB. I have an issue with the microphone not working, but only during phone calls and only when using the built-in earpiece for communication. Switching to loudspeaker mode or plugging hands-free makes it work again.
This issue is reproducible only on custom AOSP based ROMs, but works as expected on Mi A1 ported ROM and on official and customized MIUI.
It's kinda strange, because some guys here don't encounter such problems with either the RN4(SD) or the RN4X(SD), both code-named "mido".

Oh, nvm! Sorry.
I have same problem and dont find a solution.
I've found some sort of a workaround for this issue. The problem described in the thread is kinda different than mine, but seems to fix my problem too. It's in this XDA thread. All i did was flashing the two zip files from zile995: fix-audio-*-zile995.zip at the bottom of the OP.
As I said, this is a workaround, not a fix. If you know some of the maintainers for the device tree for LOS, feel free to mention them in this thread. I could make a fix proposal miself, but I don't have the time to invest in this. However if no progress is observed in the next couple of week, maybe I'll try to make it work and propose a fix to be pushed to upstream, so no more dirty flashes of patches to be required for the mic to work properly during a phone call.

Tested ot on LOS 14.1 and RR Nougat, in my case LTE works and the other guy says it's too loud. How come?
I have test with latest rr too. I dont know what is the problem. In the other Thread i have see there is a v6. I will test with this. Have you install both fix after install Rom direct?

Yup! It's not necessary, though. Flashing the v2 version is sufficient in my case. build.prop version does nothing. I'll play with it further during the weekend.

In the Official and all MIUI based ROMs it's set to false, but in all AOSP based ones it's set to true, which breaks in-call audio for alot of people, at least the ones with newer revisions of the board. So next I'll try to fork the device tree from the LOS project and modify it accordingly and build the ROM with it and see if it finally works out of the box.
Oh, such a relief! The mic finally works when calling people.
Could you please try and report? You're not supposed to, though. Flashing roms and testing configs can be annoying sometimes.

fyi, i clean flashed PixelExperience 8.1 ROM right after i arrived at work
setting this and that, root the phone using latest Magisk, install Root Explorer and did what you have wrote on post #12 and yes, i did not use any patch, just your workaround
Reboot the phone, test calling and i smile very wide.
one thing i found, setting up Google Assistant can't be done
it told me to say "Ok Google" but the app didn't hear me
so i change all of the "almost identical" line to false, like this....

But the speakerphone mode stay the same, the voice from the other end aren't loud enough.

Note: Dont say it is slow I will remove after flashing rom. Setup your rom, reboot and wait for at least half hour to let it be fast. Be patient.

4.The developer responds quick , is very helpful and will respond to each and every query .
5. No bugs whatsoever , no problem faced .
6.I will hold on this device for another year after using this ROM.

The fingerprint works great , no problem faced .
Faster than the stock ROM and unlocks quickly on the first attempt itself while few other ROMs doesn't even support fingerprint scanner . This ROM has brought peace to my life . Charges quickly and the device won't even heat on full load except while gaming.

I missed RR I have used it since my galaxy S2 and now that I have this 900H I longed to use it so much but there were many errors
Now seeing this spectacular news I would like to know how it has behaved with your phone

This ROM is running on android version 7.1.2 .Dont worry abot bugs and issues I have been using this ROM since a week as I was testing this ROM too prior the upload , Feel free to use no bugs what so ever . message If you find any !!

I just flashed the new official version just now , I restored the data from the unofficial version . so no problem there it works fine
Just flash Magisk again If Installed before as The new kernel will just overwrite the Magisk Root , Just Flash Magisk Root .
That's it no problem during boot or any basic functionality faced till now . I expect it to work without any problems .. If any problem I will update it ASAP !!:good:

Mostly working. Rarely not, till reboot once.
Thanks for this wonderful rom but it could be better if this rom can receive latest security update from main branch of LOS 14.1. And so far I have encountered same bug from earlier official build such as.
1. Call echo still intact
2. Built-in Bluetooth function still buggy so could you please include fix zip in the build by default.
3. Built-in wifi direct not working after first restart. Cannot rename or find device

I had no call echo problem , I never faced call related issue and the Bluetooth works great flawlessly bro as I used it to stream audio to my in car infotainment system for an 1hr it worked absolutely fine.
I have not yet used the wifi direct yet so no idea on that one. strange that you are facing call echos .just messahe the developer once he might shed some thoughts .

The call echo issue can only be detect on the receive side so they can hear echo voice from every word i said. And the call volume is somewhat low compare to other phone.
And the bluetooth issue is very buggy, pair device is okay, but if i am the one send pair request. So if my laptop send request to, my s5 not recognize. Even after paired, i cannot send file from my laptop to my s5 if i have not flash the bluetooth_fix.zip manually

audio notes work fine but the audio calls have a little problem sometimes . The fingerprint reader works good no problem there

This rom has two lauchers , one is stock google and other is LineageOS , I am using Lineage os . The whole Rom is highly customizable

The fingerprint is working more stable than before but the sensor still off itself if device sleep too long such as overnight.

New builds will normally be available mid-month each month.
Actually important stuff:
Update TWRP, older versions may cause problems.
H918 users: Versions up to, but not including, 10p are ARB0. 10p+ is ARB1.
Verizon users (regardless of phone model): You need to make an outgoing call after booting to be registered correctly on their network. Calling your voicemail is an easy way to do this.
Make sure you have a backup of your EFS partition. If that gets wiped, then you may have issues connecting to LTE on some devices.
YewMinou: This is an app to make a detailed logcat file. If you run into issues, make a log and attach it to your post.
Please do a clean install and wipe cache and dalvik cache after flashing the ROM (TWRP should give you a button to do so once flashing is complete).
The first boot will take longer than the rest, be patient!
Changelogs can be found in Settings > Resurrection tools > About > Changelog.
Known Issues:
VoLTE and WIFI Calling do not work (and likely never will on any custom ROMs).

You can get to the changelogs on any RR build from Settings > Resurrection tools > About > Changelog. Unfortunately the first build doesn't have anything there yet, but each subsequent build will have the last month's changes listed there.
The only noteworthy change over RR pie is a set of patches I've been working on that enables per-contact colors in the messages app. I'll attempt to get that upstreamed once I clean up my code and squash the commits.

RR should have all the same quirks as x86cpu's LineageOS builds. So you'd likely need to revert to nougat if you want fingerprint to work. I only have one phone (us996) to test on, so let me know what you find out.

We will never have any stock camera in Lineage because LG uses some proprietary software parts in their rom and it's hard to recreate these to get stuff to work, like the FM radio or VoLTE.
The camera in Lineage 16 works great, you should flash 15.1 first and then dirty flash if you're having issues and then try gamma kernel as well. 8 isn't work for me but 7 is. Also, Gcam 5.1 works flawlessly for me, but I haven't tried this rom yet

On the V20 Lineage telegram group someone showed a video of the brightness slider and its worse than Lineage's. It dark until the very end of it and I was wondering if you could fix this.

Yes, it's set up the same way to use the second screen area as a notch.

The wide angle camera should be available even if the default app can't see it. I have been using Open Camera and it is able to use all three cameras.

in some cases when alarm was active screen does not show anything and screen was off, just alarm tone played.
and so received call screen.
i use gamma kernel for lineage 16 version 7.0 because version 8.0 was crashed some times when phone wants work hard, or hangs.
This is great stuff! Big fan of your 6.2.1 and this one will certainly be as good.

working great. to enable camera i had to dirty flash from RR 6.2 (previous one)
after then all working good so far.
And what about the battery on this beautiful version.
My phone is 990 ds and the battery is implemented quickly. Is it a way to save power
