I really don't know in what section of the forum I have to post this thread in but I post it in this section
I have a Huawei P20 Lite and I changed my standard laucher, and I have Poco Launcher now.
I tried to add the widget from Huawei weather on the menu of Poco Launcher but I can't.
The reason that I am doing this is because I like the Huawei Weather app and I don't want to download a extra weather app just to add a weather widget on my menu screen.
I have readed on XDA Developers that someone added the widget of Samsung weather on Nova launcher, so I think that it is possible to do the same on my phone

You can't ,because Huawei don't support weather on 3rd party launchers

Download The Weather Channel. Done! Or get HD Widgets, it has 3 weather services in the clock widget and it is easy to make your own widget or use the random button.
Apex/Nova/GO does not work with TouchWiz/Sense/Blur widgets.
Fancy widgets, beautiful widgets, hd widgets all have virtual copies of the sense clock / weather / accuweather.
I have beautiful widgets and I dont see anything close to the accuweather widget.
I would also like that widget to use on Go launcher
I just started using miui launcher since miui hasn't been ported to Verizon's s4 yet. I have a few questions, how do I find the icon names for stock icons that come with phone ex. Notes, music player and camera. I know for apps of the market its everything after com. And my other question is why can't I use my stock accu weather widget with this launcher? It shows up in the widget selection list but I'm unable to add it to a home screen.

I really like the default clock & weather widget in the Samsung Experience launcher. But, even though Samsung has come a long way with their launcher, I prefer Nova. I had heard, somewhere, there's a way to get a Samsung Experience clock/weather copycat widget to use in a 3rd party launcher, but I can't seem to find it in the Play Store.
So, what do you "other launcher" users use as your favorite weather & clock widget? Do any of you know the "copycat" widget I'm referring to?

Has anyone figured out how to add the Google weather widget to the stock Huawei Home launcher?
When I try to add it it doesn't do anything. Works fine on other launcher like Nova or Evie.
I found a workaround, there is an app called Frog Weather in the app store that opens up Google weather.
Same function as the shortcut which Huawei home can't create for some reason!!

Not a massive difference. I just like the Google weather app better than accuweather, that's all.
I am using "Another widget" you can download the app from the play store. It looks the same as the pixel 3 at a glance widget but has more functionality.

Long press on home screen and goto widget & select weather icon then you will get weather widget in home launcher.

Thanks for that but that doesn't seem to work for me on any Huawei phones. Somehow the launcher is preventing the widget from being created. But the Frog Weather app is a good workaround.
