Need WhatsApp appxbundle (only for restoring & transfering backups) - n/a in store

I need a WhatsApp appx bundle so i can install WhatsApp on my Windows Phone 10 (Lumia 920) and restore my previously made OneDrive backups. I do not need it for chatting.
Unfortunately I cannot download it anymore from the Windows 10 mobile store. "not supported after 31th of December 2019" and "It says: not compatible with your phone".
I just want to read some all messages which are in my OneDrive backup.
Google Search lead me to this page: XPPX4Fun but the download is a .xap-file and when clicking on it by the file explorer I get an error "app cannot be installed".
Any advice?
Please note: error messages have been translated into English. For sure they state different on a English WP10 .

There is no appxbundle for windows 10 mobile, only a xap.
I just installed the version of the store without any problems (950XL).

to be precise: you installed WhatsApp this year 2020 directly from the Windows Mobile 10 store? Your Nokia 950XL, was it previously a Windows 8.x phone?
I had to tweak my Lumia 920 with a registry hack into a "Lumia 830" (i followed an upgrade instruction). I could update my 920 WP8.1 to WP10 but in "About Phone" it still says "Lumia 830". Could that be the culprit? Because I get the "your phone is not compatible" message for the WhatsApp App in the WP 10 mobile store.

it got installed successfully but had a problem with the mobile verification step.
device : lumia 530
os version : 10586.107 ( couldn't update it further )
you can try and see if it's going to work with you.
My Problem got solved by itself:
after I've updated my Nokia Lumia 920 from WP81 to WP10 with this Guide here on XDA: [GUIDE] Win10 Mobile Offline Update Package 10586.107 [UPDATED V5.2 beta5] ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-10-mobile/guide-win10-mobile-offline-update-t3527340 ) I wasn't able to download WhatsApp from the MS Mobile Store as I mentioned in my initial post.
But then, some hours later, my phone got a WP10 Update - I don't know which version, it just alerted me, there is a Windows Mobile Update. I've installed the update and after the update I could download the WhatsApp App w/o problem from the Windows Mobile Store (maybe there where some more Updates, can't remember).
Anyway, I could download WhatsApp and with the guide of "Import That App messages from Windows Phone" App developer Ioan Leonardocezary Chisciuc I was able to move almost all my WhatsApp Messages from my WP81 to Android.

MS have released Zune 4.8 through Windows update, which they say is preparing for the official Mango release:

i downloaded the Zune 4.8 from Zune website but it's not getting installed, error message is that WMDU component not installed. any advise?
even the zune 4.8 update prompted by windows update service is not getting installed. any one else facing the issue?
Mine installed fine, no issues.. Win Update is the best way, but..
Have you got the Beta of Zune for Mango Beta installed that you intall when you update to 7713.
Do you have any registry hacks, such as the registry hack to make WP7 show up as a "Removable disk" in My Computer, best advise.. completely remove Zune from you system, that includes from you "My documents" and your registry.
Also, try removing any Windows mobile device or any 3rd party hacking, debranding drivers or tools.
Tall order i think to hope MS will get Off Mango out today.. im not getting an update alert on my Mozart.. .

Hi, thanks for the update. I did nothing unsual to my phone
no beta zune or beta mange or any other registry hack. Just windows updater prompted the zune 4.8 update but it stopped at 88%. I downloaded the full version of 4.8 from zune website but even it's doing the same.
i'll uninstall and delete the zune from the pc and will try again.cheers...
i uninstalled the zune 4.7, clean the registry and then installed 270MB file of zune 4.8. no luck. any advise?
I am not able to install Zune 4.8 and Zune WMDU component not installed error coming up. Any body else getting the same error?
I tried to install Zune 4.7 now and now it's not getting installed, error in installing some language pack.

Due to some problems in my Smartphone (Android 4.0.3), I had to uninstall Whatsapp Messenger and reinstall it.
It was working perfectly before I uninstalled it.
But now, there is no way to have it working again. I should say I already have an active account till April 2014. So, I installed it both downloading from the Play Store and downloading from Whatsapp website. The result is the same:
1.- Once re-installed and being sure I have both phone line and wifi network, I start whatsapp.
2.- I accept the terms.
3.- Whatsapp ask me for my phone number. I introduce the same I always have: +34 abc de fx yz and OK
4.- Whatsapp discover the old databases and ask me if I want to recover messages from them. I answer yes, whatsapp tell me that 3.189 msgs are recovered.
5.- Whatsapp ask me for the profile details, photo and name. And the strange things start here:
5a.- It seems not having recognized my phone number, as it ask for my profile, that I feel it had to be known
5b.- In the name field, there is a number too similar to the one I introduced in 3.-, but NOT the same, no country code and the last 2 digits are zeroes: abcdefx00
5c.- By this time, no message, no phone call is received
5d.- No question about verify code is received.
6.- Anyway, I put my name in the profile name field and press NEXT
7.- Whatsapp goes to “Initializing, wait a moment ….” And nothing more…. It stay stuck there…. Non ending. Hours later, the only way to resume my phone is restarting the phone.
I already tried all the suggestions of the different forums: go without recover messages, download 2.8 and then reinstall with the most recent versión, download from market and then reinstall with the most recent from whatsapp website, erase the old databases.... Same result.
I found that last year there were similar problems that seemed to be due to whatsapp servers problems, and week ago also the verification server had also troubles... Could again be this the problem?
I am planning to do a "Factory reset" of my pone (HTC Sensation), but I would like to explore any solution before that one.
Any help, please?

I have a problem with whatsapp:
A week or two ago, i got a new handy number, I changed the number in whatsapp, but whatsapp says Install the normal Version of Whatsapp - I used WA+ .
I did it and before i did it, i created some backups.
I have now many files like this one: msgstore-2014-08-04.1.db.crypt7
When I install Whatsapp, it says we found a backup file - but few min. later it failed...
Can anyone help me? I want my chats back -.-
I tried the most things ... and I rooted my smartphone now and I installed today cyanogen mod...

OS : ColorOS V3.0.0i
Problem : "System Supported Service" Eats about 500mb of mobile data everyday. Forced to turn off mobile data for good.
ColorOS have no option of restricting background data, or any further data settings.
Color OS have very minimum means of stopping specific app or service mobile data usage. Only setting global usage alarms.
Checked the list of services, unable to find any info anywhere.
Managed to find out that this "System Supported Service" is not :
1) Google services framework
2) OS system
3) Update services
4) Camera
5) Third Party apps
6) Google Sync
7) Downloads
Can someone help to shed some light on what this mythical "System Supported Service" beast is, and how to stop it? Will changing my OS help?
Can I use other versions, non ColorOS, of android OS on my Oppo A77?

Contacted Oppo via phone / email / and physical tech office.
Utterly useless, they refuse to acknowledge the problem even exists.
I show them the phone, they keep insisting its impossible, with no solutions.
They did a factory reset, but it is still happening with the ColorOS.
My only plan now is to to try installing Nougat.
This website claims I can install Nougat wout rooting :

I found the post a month ago, but realized that it is the ONLY nougat update thread online right now.
They also have similar update for ALL models and brands, and most exist solely on their posts.
Very fishy, as these kind of updates should be global and more widely shared than one single website in the entire world. I messaged the webmaster but he did not reply. I even tracked him to his FB page but the page itself looks like a fake front.
Until there are more updates around, in more notable forums like this one, i would rather not risk bricking my current only mobile.
any luck for changing OS?i even thankful if someone just found a way to install TWRP recovery,or even root the phone

First of all, sorry If Ive chosen the wrong subforum for this question, dont know where else to put it.
Figured that you guys might have enough knowledge to help me, altho I think I cant do anything because I tried E V E R Y T H I N G.
So basically my Messenger looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/rqPRy which is like a 1 year old version. And yes I have the latest update and I just cant get the new UI and functions working. It looks like its server-related but why would Facebook not push the button on my account ?
Things I tried so far:
- Reinstalling the app
- Restarting the phone
- Factory reset
- Download the .apk of the latest version and install it manually
- Entered the Messenger beta
- Install it from US VPN
- Clearing all caches and cookies from all devices and log in again
- Log in to different mobile device (for example my friend has new UI on his old S4 and when I logged in with my account, it showed the old one - wtf)
- When I created a new fake facebook account and switched account on my Messenger (it showed new UI) when I switched back to my account, its the old UI again
- I contacted facebook about this, no response. Just some generic automatic response "Thank your for this report we make sure to check bla bla bla"
my phone is Nokia 8 running Android Oreo 8.0 (before 7.1.1 same problem)
Any ideas? I think only Facebook itself can sort this out but its impossible to reach them and have my attention.
