BUG - Redmi Note 2 - clicking sound from headphone jack

Hi there!
I just bought my new Xiaomi Redmi NOTE 2 TDD 4G.
It worked grate 2 weeks. But now i have a problem whit the headphone jack.
When i connect small headphones to the phone there is no clicking sound from headphones.
But, when i connect larger speakers something like car stereo or home theater speakers there is the annoying unstopping clicking sound.
I have google it, some smartphones have the same problem. But on the Redmi Note 2 it seems to be hardware problem, because if i am in recovery mode its still makes the clicking sound.
May by somebody have the same problem or know something more about it, please leave a comment.
Thank you!

Same problem 1+
Same here
The strange thing is that if you remove and reinsert the jack from the stereo side, the noise will turn off
Does that by any chance happen while you're charging your phone?
Sent from my X98 Air II (HG9N)
Nothing like that on mine so far, been listening to music via my car's AUX input and headphones.
not have this problem (prime version)
hi, have u solved this problem? becouse i cant fix it.. :/
Some cables produce this sound, try another cable It worked for me.
I get this, but only if the plug is not fully inserted. I can even make this same noise using my Xiaomi Piston 3 earphones, again if not fully inserted.

I bought Le eco type c headset, its premium quality, and also working good with my nexus 5x, but doesnt work with this elephone s8.... what I can do with the ugly usb-c - jack converter? thats only for listen music! But its mobil, so I need working headset LOL!
The USB-C headphone adapter included with the S8 is a dumb adapter and it does not have a DAC. If you want to use a DAC adapter, or headphones that have a DAC, you need to turn on USB OTG in settings > Accesibility and turn on OTG Enable.
THANK YOU

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This is such a simple solution! I've been in the middle of trying to wrangle a refund/return for my Elephone USBc to headphone cable for the past week! Out of frustration I went out and bought a random one off Amazon...but when that didn't work I started to lose all hope!
I may still be out of pocket, for the time being, but at least now I can carry on listening to music!

Audio jack not working

Hello Xiaomi users ( or not ) ,
I recently purchased Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and from the first day I experienced some weird headphone not being recognized after plugged in audio jack .. while I was turning the headphones around sometimes it worked but if I accidentally touched the audio jack with my fingers it got plugged out.. I tried over 5 headphones! It's fully up to date and latest miui.Is it a hardware issue and does anyone else have it?
I think it's hardware.

it appears to be a manufacturer problem.. nothing we can do .. well we can hope Xiaomi send us a new version of the Redmi note 5 with a better audio jack but that's not happening..

Question Mi mix 4 USB audio

Hello I would like to see if anyone here could kindly help me. Basically I have a mi mix 4 on miui 13 eu rom I have a usb c cable that connects to 2 pin iems the cable has a dac built into the usb c housing the cable works fine on my old phone but with the mi mix 4 occasionally there is a subtle static sound. My old phone doesnt support passive usb audio so a digital signal gets sent to the dac where it turns into analogue since it works on that phone the cable itself isnt the problem however I know xiaomi phones support passive analogue out the usb to 3.5 mm adapter it comes with doesnt have a dac in it and works fine with earbuds with a 3.5mm jack so I was wondering what I can do to fix this issue could a software update to miui 14 eu rom help or should I try pixel experience? Is there someway to make the phone not detect the external dac and bypass it because id be fine with using the internal dac basically by forcing audio adapter accessory mode. I wish I could find a cable that as usb c to two pin that didnt have a built in dac but it seems like it is such a niche thing. All this to avoid having to use a adapter lol
