I have the above mentioned Android TV box, I aim is to Root and put a custom ROM on it. Unfortunately, I am totally confused about which ROM is compatible.
On this thread I have seen ROMs for S905X, S905X2 but not for S905X3. Can you please guide me to a ROM that would be compatible?
System configuration:
TICTID Android 9.0 TV Box 4 GB + 64 GB TX6 Plus with S905X3 Quad Core Cortex-A55
OS: Android 9.0
WIFI: IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac; 2.4G / 5G
Ethernet interface: support 1000 m.
CPU: Amlogic S905X3 quad core ARM Cortex A55 CPU
GPU: G31 MP2 GPU processor
RAM: 4GB DDR3
ROM: eMMC Flash 64GB
Antenna: integrated for WIFI
Expand memory: Micro SD card

Have you figure out which rom to install? I have the same box and I want to install OpenElec or any other Kodi based rom.
does anyone have a link to the stock firmware for the TICTID TX6 Plus

Same Soc , on Gearbest there are much more convenient devices, IMO. Minix X6 is actually much overpriced.

It comes with windows 10 system, I want to install android, but I tested several and none of them works wifi and sound.
So I found a custom created by a developer for a tablet that has the same hardware as my device.
Question: I can migrate this custom rom to my device, and how do I do it?

i tried to flash another firmware for testing if it would work better than the original one.
i downloaded an firmware from the Magicsee IRON TV Box because the specs looks similar.
CPU – Amlogic S905X quad core ARM Cortex-A53 @ up to 2.0GHz
GPU – penta-core Mali-450MP GPU @ 750 MHz
SDRAM: 2GB DDR3
Flash: 16GB EMMC Flash
now i have a bootloop and it seems like the reset button have no function anymore, thats why USB_Burning_Tool don't recognize the box and i can't reflash the box
i have no idea how to fix the problem
What could i try?
