Help with MediaTek SP Tool & Full Stock Rom Update - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm having trouble with my Blackview p10000 pro android 8.1.0, it doesn't wanna boot, it gets stuck on blackview logo animation
After contacting blackview support team, they sent me 2 links with an SP mediatek tool for checksum and format bootloader and whatsoever and another file, a huge file of 1,23gb and i guess that's the full stock rom
What i am trying to do is to apply the full stock rom so i can fix the bootloader to finally make the phone reboot normaly.
I haven't made any backup of the phone now that it's too late, and i'm trying to avoid the Reset Factory option as i don't want to lose all the data i have on the phone...
so this is the tool i recieved and in terms of checksum and phone sophisticated operations i'm very little familiar
i cannot momentary send any external link to the Mediatek SP tool guide but i would be gladly send it via e-mail or in any other available method.
i would really appreciate any help on how to go through this with the tool and the full stock rom as how i need to apply it...
Thank you so much in advance

Bricked Alcatel Pop C1 4015X (Mediatek MT6572)

Hey all.
Easy question I hope! I've been following the guide to unbrick MTK devices, and have managed to get an original factory ROM to flash to the phone, green tick in SP Flash Tools. However, the phone still won't power on at all, save for the light if plugged into usb.
The ROM I've been using is an original factory rom named "ONE-TOUCH-4015X_POP_C1_FULL_STOCK_BACKUP" which is readily available online. I'm not sure what I did to brick it in the first place, but it was within SP flashtool. I May have formatted accidentally.
If someone coudl help I'll try to provide all logs or files requested but please tell me where these could be found as I'm not that good with flash tool.
To confirm the phone won't boot into any mode, recovery is dead, fastboot is dead....
same problem hope somone help us
also share ur backup please

Did you ever get the above rom to work? If so what did you do? Or did you find another method to unbrick the phone? Thanks.
Managed to unbrick my 4015 using Mobile Upgrade S 4.3.0 from the Alcatel Website.
http://www.alcatelonetouch.com/global-en/support/download/one_touch_idolx.html
Very simple to use, just install and follow instructions.

Sorry I should have put my phone is a 4015X not 4015. The application does say 4015 which I selected and all went well.
my 4015x no update, it not load, only work flash mode connected to pc and no work mobile upgrade.
4015X Partitions
the 4015x has a different set of partitions to the older (dual sim) 4015
i have a modded rom (kitkat), a modded stock recovery (as stock is also wrong, wont mount data) and a modded cwmrecovery.
i will be posting these soon
i will create a new post for the 4015x version
and will also be asking for other versions of the 4015 users to post me there partition trees and i will repack some recoverys and some roms for you all
note: there are 6 versions that i have seen and they may all have diff tables
hope these will help the pop c1 community

Hello!
This thread is quite old but near my case.
I have an Alcatel Pop C1 4015X (cpu MTK6572M) that can't start at all (only the power LED is ON).
I have a backup of this device made with "SP Flash Tool V5.1532.00" but I've error "not enough space" when
I try to restore it.
Same error when I try to restore just one file.
For example, I've tried to restore only the "Stock Recovery" you give above.
I do this:
- I start Flash_Tool v5.1532.00
- I open scatter file from my backup done with the same tool
- I unselect all pieces of the backup except "Recovery" and I browse to the "Stock Recovery" file I've dl
from this thread.
I've got this error : "not enough storage space (1011)"
What could be the problem ?
I makes me totally crazy !
By advance, thanks for your help.
Regards,
Freeman.

What i did was i used SPFT to flash a backup i found online. Can't post links, just google "ot 4015X Original SPFT ROM", what i used was the algerian rom. Then i flashed the EE stock rom. My own backup didn't flash back correctly either, that's why i used that one i fould online.
4015X unbricked !
Hello,
I found a similar solution here (replace * with . to get a correct http link):
forum*gsmhosting*com/vbb/f317/ot-4015x-firmware-arabic-bulgaria-africa-kenya-1946694/index2.html
It took me hours to find good stock ROMs (bulgarian & arabian then french via OTU) !
You'll have to "play" with pro_info and scatter file...
Good luck to all to unbrick your 4015x !

Freeman.

[Q] Help Root, Flash recovery, and dumping stock imgs Huawei Y6 Pro TIT U-02

Good day members and Developers of XDA,
After days of googling and searching through forums and tutorials, I decided to make this thread to introduce my Delima.
I have this new Huawei y6 pro TIT U-02 which is quite different from Huawei y6 pro TIT AL00 (4G LTE). Difference in partitions and ROM images. However, I wanted to root my phone so as usual I started the easy way using renowned root apps, no luck though. Next step was to flash recovery. To port the suitable recovery I needed to dump my stock boot.img and recovery.img files out of my stock firmware. The irony is that I needed Root access in order to use the adb shell su (dd or cc). So I looked around for a way to pull my firmware images without the need of root. So I found the read back of SP Flash tool which is quite useful and great way to dump img. Yet I faced another problem that is of battery as it is not removable therefore the SP Flash tool reads my phone for short time before it starts charging and show the battery icon which disconnects the adb driver of the phone and connects another device (the phone in charging mode is detected as another device not readable by SP Flash tools). Quanciquantly, I was unable to get stock img by any means.
NOW I have my stock firmware (downloaded from Huawei site) and I want a way to extract boot.img and recovery.img. I extracted the lollipop update.zip and found a boot.img which is not that of booting the device. Ten I extracted the "system.new.dat" file and found nothing there.
All I need now is the stock boot.img and recovery.umg of my TIT U-02 or a way to dump them. I'de really appreciate any kind of help.
Sorry for long post I had to tell full story in order not to get solutions I already tried and make my issue clear.

Buy qualcomm phone or buy mediatek phone

qualcomm
1.If you are not interested in rooting and flashing things, just want to have a working phone
2.If you are interested in rooting and flashing things, and you have some basic knowledge of porting like using android kitchen and you are thinking I will be able to port a rom from a generic rom made for my phone's qualcomm cpu, then you are wrong most of the times you will see either your qualcomm phone has a support from one or more custom rom developer comunity or you have no generic rom made for your cpu,If you try to port a rom made for other device with same cpu, then there is a huge risk that you will hard brick your phone i.e. you will not be able to flash its stock rom from computer, your phone will respond to nothing (not any physical button, not the charger)
3.Many times or most of the times you will not be able to back up your current stock rom with a computer, you will only have the stock rom of your phone if someone uploads the stock rom in the internet for you
4.If you are interested in rooting and flashing things, then buy such a qualcomm phone which has a support from at least one custom rom developer comunity, think before buying
5. In some cases you will never have root access in your phone
6.In many cases or most of the cases if you want to flash the stock rom with the computer then you have to flash all the partions, you can not select a particular partition to flash,so if you want to flash the recovery partition then you have to flash all other partitions as well.
mediatek
1.If you are not interested in rooting and flashing things, just want to have a working phone
2.If you are interested in rooting and flashing things, and you have some basic knowledge of porting like using android kitchen and you are thinking I will be able to port a rom from a generic rom made for my phone's mediatek cpu, then most of the times you will find a generic custom rom which you can port for your device, you do not have to port a rom made for other phone with same cpu since the custom rom is generic. When porting a generic rom you will have almost 0 chance of hard brick, you can softbrick you phone in the process but in that case you can always flash the stock rom from a computer
3.All the time you can back up the stock rom of your phone using the mtkdroidtools and the sp flash tool, the scatter file creation facility of mtk droid tools, the read back function of sp flash tools and the process file rom from flash toll function of mtk droid tools are priceless
4.All the time you can have root access by building a old minimum functional cwm custom recovery with mtkdroid tools then flashing it with sp flash tool and flashing one su.zip file, once you have root you can easily change your recovery with magic twrp software or by youself to the latest functional twrp.magic twrp software will make and flash a function twrp itself,so all you need to have is root access.
5.If you do not want to port any rom for your device, then buy such a mediatek phone which has a support from at least one custom rom developer comunity
6.Always you can select which partitions to flash when flashing the stock rom with a computer.
That is what I wanted to say and I have said it.I can not think any thing else at this moment in this topic or I would have written that.

Allview viva h1001 LTE stock firmware

Hi, I have a allview viva h1001 LTE, I accidentally bricked my device while trying to install twrp(custom one) and now it's bootlooping, I can't boot into recovery or fastboot mode, I tried using SP Flash Tool, but I need the original stock firmware, can someone help me?
Hi. I am also looking for the firmware for this device. There is one firmware that I tried to fill, but it does not have a native scatter and I put it together as best I could. The tablet is boot to recovery but the system does not boot. If you have the opportunity to load the scatter from your original device, then there is a chance that we will defeat this device.
If it's still relevant, then I attach a recovery from a tablet that goes into recovery. I considered the entire dump if someone can see its integrity. Here is full flash read with EFT from other tablet who too restart.
Hi. I wrote down the firmware merged with the EFT, then I downloaded the image from allview p6 pro and using CM2MTK I filled in only the system. The tablet started up but without navigation buttons, with kingorut I made a root, and installed a buildpropeditor. At the end of the build.prop added the line qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 . After the reboot, the buttons appeared. I went into the update and saw the opportunity to install the update over the air but for p6 pro. Can someone tell me where to edit so that the device thinks that it is not p6 about but Viva H1001 LTE ? Thus, download the original update and make the original firmware. Thank you.
I atach build.prop for H1001 and P6_PRO
