Known Issues
If you are running the latest update and are not able to enroll a fingerprint you may need to clear the fingerprint data using this zip (flashable in TWRP): https://mega.nz/#!6YZV2QTY!hOYYwrbkTPfThUIJUffOEQWMosdCxeqy_7JdGpYp3AA
There are still quite a few features that are not yet completed for LineageOS 17.1, these are not bugs this is a beta release.
Any hardware related issues will be ignored if you do not provide:
a) Logcat
b) proc/last_kmsg
c) data/tombstones
d) dmesg
Also do not under any circumstances post bug reports if you are using substratum themes or unsupported magisk modules or you have performed any system modifications
Installation
Install the latest TWRP (Available Here)
Make a full backup (just in case something goes wrong)
Do a full wipe (Cache, Data, System)
If this is your first time on a LineageOS ROM format data
Download the latest LOS build and transfer it to your phone
Install LOS
If you are installing GApps do it at the same time (preferably in the same install queue)
And finally boot, the first boot can take several minutes as it optimises all the apps
Do NOT install the TWRP app when prompted, this will cause a bootloop Downloads

Mega fail to download.

Great work and thanks @danwood76 for bringing 'Q' to A5
Any one wanting to use MicroG with this rom and unable to patch the rom for signature spoofing using Nanodroid can flash this, either in magisk or twrp https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=4349826312261707139

Can't install busybox...
I think because the system partition has changed from /system to /system/system/ ? Weird
Now most of my apps like V4A cause a bootloop
Awesome job btw ?

"System As Root" is the new default in Android 10, it is up to mod developers to make their software work on Android 10 and not the other way round

Why GPay doesn't work?
NFC work correctly?

Thanks for the fast reply

Bugs I have faced:
- Pixel launcher and Trebuchet keep crashing the second I finish the setup process (especially Pixel Launcher), I had to disable them and install lawnchair to be able to use the phone
- disabling the default dialer also disables the call screen even if Google dialer is installed
I'm not using any mods except magisk
I'll report more bugs if I found them

NFC is tested and working.
Issues with google pay could be caused by anything from bad Gapps (OpenGapps are still in beta) to bad card details.
Does your phone pass SafetyNet?
(you can test this in Magisk)
Some mods people install break SafetyNet.
Are you able to make a log with matlog of a failed pay attempt?
I will need a verbose log from there, matlog removes sensitive information by default but send the log to me privately (usually people upload to google drive and send them to me)
Regards,
Danny

My advice would be to not install a gapps > nano. Opengapps is in beta so expect bugs.

Thanks for the information. When you try to pay, nothing happens. Absolutely nothing.

Thanks Dude for the build .... It's working fine for me.
Few bugs but I hope it'll be corrected in future releases.

Does your NFC actually work? (can be tested by using android beam to send a photo from one phone to another)

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Features Overview:
https://www.xda-developers.com/lineageos-15-feature-list-overview-screenshots-video/
Custom Features Overview:
Custom Kernel
Custom Power Hal by TeamNexus
Many More
What's working:
Telephony (Calls, SMS, Mobile Data)
WiFi
Bluetooth
NFC
GPS (Plain Device Mode Works)
Fingerprint
Camera (Needs Improvements)
What's not working:
Obviously Samsung's own features such as Samsung Pay, KNOX, Theme Center, Game Launcher, etc. won't be ported to LineageOS. We may have our own implementation to similar functions, though.
IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS.
Instructions:
Make sure TWRP has been installed and functional.
Download the latest build (and optionally gapps).
Reboot to recovery
Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs)
Flash the latest build (and gapps)
Reboot

Reporting Bugs:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

Just installed on my device, looks great so far, will report back bugs
ROM is fast and stable. One thing, I can't login to Snapchat even with/out Magisk hide enabled. Netflix was also hidden from the store but I installed it as an APK.
Thanks
screenshots please ?
Been waiting for this! Hope this goes official in a few months time!
Just flashed, realised both ctsProfile and basicIntegrity failed

Very likely because this ROM doesn't pass safetynet (both ctsProfile and basicIntegrity). Gotta wait till OP fixes safetynet
@enesuzun2002 pretty good work buddy!!!! Your Lineage Rom is the smoothest of all, feels really responsive.I have the same issue with both RR and crdroid, the dialer is laggy AF, and the sound is on/off.
Keep it up

Do not do that
Small problem here, my phone is SM-G925F, or zerolte, which is the s6 edge
"About device" shows the phone as SM-G920F, and Android terminal shows the device as zeroflte, both of which is the s6 (flat)
Not critical bug or anything, but it'll be best to fix it

Edit build.prop and delete the "zeroflte" for "zerolte" in where appear and change the "SM-G920F" for "SM-G925F", is easy.

So it's not a widespread issue... Okay so I did modified build.prop so that my device will show up as an s6 edge (only changed zeroflte -> zerolte and SM-G920F to SM-G925F), maybe that's the cause?
Also have magisk 16.4, busybox installed, if that helps

Will you attempt to fix the camcorder? In all Pie roms I've tested so far the camcorder works very inconsistent, in all camera apps. Footej, gcam, moto camera, open camera all sometimes just break and stop saving the clips and require a reboot to work again. No problems in Oreo roms at all.
Night light/Live display also working...
Rapid Charging Works :good:
Jaw breaking build,..
Nice! I'll try it soon, been waiting to use LOS 16 for a long time

Hey, have you tried disabling C2API (which includes uninstalling some modules such as Pix3lify, etc.)? I've heard Camcorder works fine if you do disable it, but you will need to install a 3rd party camera app.

it will be worth trying it I like lineage OS but I do not want to have serious errors in the device, the camera can fix it, it will be that it has some other problem or everything is fine

Yes consider new build everything, and if you are coming from other Rom than need a full format data partition. Please save your data first..
Thank you very much for the work and the effort. It is a great ROM. Fm works, camera works properly, netflix works without needing to install fix. Finally the duration of the battery is considerably better than in other pie roms

No, I wouldn't try that.
Our device tree is very different so a clean flash is the only way.
Great ROM
Runs smoothly on my phone everything seems to work just fine, only problem is the system seems to read the fingerprint scanner as an on display scanner.

How do you mean?
The fingerprint scanner location variable can only be front/back/left/right and I configured it for the front. It is working fine for me.

I think you are taking that image too literally .
The fingerprint scanner is the home button and it doesn't work whilst the charger is plugged in (not tested that on stock but it doesn't work whilst plugged in for me on LOS).
If you are having issues with the scanner then please dump a full logcat in matlog or via ADB which should help me debug.
Fingerprint scanner don't work like on the first builds of 15.1 los
Wow, that was fast ! :good:
Thank you for bringing Pie on our A510F !
I try your ROM asap.

Ah, I have missed the additional SEPolicy rule for the FP scanner on some variants.
I will correct this later.
I've tried your ROM, and everything is working fine for me exept the firgerprint scanner, but I understand that this will be solved soon.
Very happy with this ROM, thanks for the job !

I know this has got to do something with the ssh thing and I even tried to generate a ssh key for my local device but nothing happened.
Could you possibly suggest a solution to this.
Thanks.

I have a few questions, mini review and bugs report. (and sorry for my English, i'm from Poland)
1. HWC is a Hardware Composer? Why is disabled?
2. WiFi hotspot doesn't work.
3. I saw glitches when I switched to Youtube Vanced from playback in background for a few seconds (but this is probably a problem with this app)
4. ROM is a bit faster compared to Lineage 15.1 build by danwood76, but it still having a 2D animation stuttering sometimes.

HWC is buggy on Pie so you get black screens / lockups. We use the graphics hardware acceleration instead and it works well.

The phones hardware isn't the quickest, when I had stock on the A5 it ran very slow. We may see slight improvements if we ever manage to fix HWC.

well about camera it's same like pie . it's working fine tho for me no issues till now
thank you very much for the rom CodeZero it is good to know that someone like you continues to build more and more this device, we expect new updates and security patches I love you crack
Today I will try it, I just hope that camera work fine.
Thanks in advance for support this old device.
It works everything for me, except audio: I got no audio(multimedia nor notifcation). Any ideas?
I had stock android before clean install Lineage OS 17, I haven't modified anything else (no third party apps nor gapps).
I have to say I am coming from this issue https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5/help/stuck-bootloops-stock-roms-ive-tried-t3995969 , and trying out LineageOS for the first time out of curiosity. And apparently the phone is more stable with this LineageOS 17 than stock rom (I have almost no reboots). But audio worked with stock rom.
Edit: No audio even with earpods.
Hi
Once again this is a great ROM thanks to Code zero. Unfortunately the ROM does not boot up setupwizard when it is first run so I cannot restore settings and apps. Just wondering how I can force setup wizard to run again so I can get my stuff back?

The truth is that I am using this rom of lineage os 17 as a daily rom I would say that your fault comes from your terminal since my audio works in both headphones and notifications, the only error I see in this rom is in some applications that close alone from the rest 10/10
oh and another bug is in the chrome browser that doesn't play videos it gets damaged
note: this is fixed using another browser
Magisk
Doesn't appear to like Magisk V.10.1 - V.19.1 installs fine!
My mistake; should read doesn't like Magisk V.20.1 - V.19.1 installs OK
After reinstalling over Lineage 16.0 all is working just great including Magisk 20.1
Many thanks to you Code Zero

thank you very much codezero we just hope that in the next patch security will fix that and fix the lienage launcher since sometimes with the gestures it stops, and optimizes it more in battery
Chrome Version
For anyone who is having issues with Chrome, I went trough a couple versions of it, and I think this is the latest release that has no video playback issues: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/chrome/chrome-71-0-3578-98-release/
2 hours of test and I'm in love.
Excellent work, I don't have any bug.
We appreciate your fantastic work.
Can someone post some pictures for me to have a look?
I'm in doubt, can I install even though this 'SELinux is permissive' bug is safe?
Has anyone that had camera problems in Pie tried this ROM? Is camera fixed here?
I'm on LOS16 and camera doesn't work (green tint, crashes, etc)
Thanks for your work @CodeZero! Amazing as always!

Google/YouTube lineageos 17 - I'm sure you'll find tones of pictures and videos of it on devices (it will look the same on any device)
Also Google what SElinux is - basically you cannot encrypt your device & any security service/app that requires it to be enforcing will not work

LineageOS-17.1, ROM for the Nokia 6.1 (2018)
Contributors
TheImpulson, npjohnson
Source Code: https://github.com/LineageOS/android_kernel_nokia_sdm660
ROM OS Version: Android 10
ROM Kernel: Linux 4.x
ROM Firmware Required: Latest stock firmware
Based On: AOSP
Version Information
Status: Beta
Current Stable Version: 17.1
Stable Release Date: 2020-10-10
Created 2020-01-28
Last Updated 2020-10-31
Current Bugs include:
Volume is a bit loud in some cases (Turn off AudioFX). This happens because we are using prebuilt stock audio hal and hidls.
SIM card update requires a system reboot
Don't report bugs related:
to CTS failures (LineageOS does not tamper with CTS results)
with Magisk (It sets a number of props on boot like changing build type to the user resulting in broken adb root etc)
with Custom Kernel, MODs (Report that to MOD maintainer)
with non-recommended TWRP, vendor or builds (Use what is told in instructions)

How can fix Bluetooth Audio?
Pushed new vendor and lineage builds. These new builds include fixes for:
- Bluetooth audio
- Addresses some SELinux denials
- Removed duplicate properties
- Synced changes with latest LineageOS source
I have built FM as well with this release which however is buggy. You need to turn it on and off manually every time you change the audio paths. I might kick this from next builds, so please don't report this as bug.

AEX Rom can you please update?
The ROM works good and mostly stable, althrough I encountered some bugs that I already reported to dev, but will be good to post them here too:
NFC doesn't work - my transport card says invalid card type
The charging screen during poweroff is broken and just display android one, you have to force reboot to fix phone
+Everything works as expected so stable for daily use Great job
+ A small request (Add call recording in next build)
Pushed new vendor and LineageOS builds. These builds contains fixes for:
- SELinux denials relating to NFC
- Offline Charging
It seems that after upgrading Android 10, all ROMs cannot use China Telecom's calling card perfectly. At present, this ROM cannot be configured with volte normally. It can only use 2G & 3G, or only 4G, and it is very unstable. Is it because the carrier profile is different? What should I do to make it work?
Thank you !

Hey!
I suggest downgrading to Pie again and then trying it. Q update might have upgraded modem which is now causing issues. You can use either Hikari's or Raghu's Tool.

Raghu's Tool: https://forum.xda-developers.com/no.../tool-stock-rom-flash-tool-nokia-6-1-t4023965

I just transferred from the official pie. It is normal on the official pie, including your previous onmi and aex android pie. Maybe volte cannot be used, but it can ensure that LTE & CDMA works at the same time. Hikar said that the Chinese version and the international version have different underlying partitions, so the firmware cannot be used universally. I couldn't test it, but my pixel also had the same problem after upgrading to Android 10.
Thank you!

Can you get me logs? I am pretty sure it's system-related as the vendor is still from Pie.
Pushed new lineage build. Changelog:
- Kernel is now compiled with clang 9.0.3
- Added call recording

Sorry, because of limited capabilities, I used adb bugreport. More effective information still needs you to filter, thank you for your help!
Nice to see an image for this device, will test this weekend.
Is there already a solution for installing TWRP permanently on the device?
