OnePlus bottom navigation gestures possible? - OnePlus 7T Pro (Regular & McLaren) Q & A

On my OnePlus 7 Pro, I strongly preferred using the OnePlus bottom gestures (Android 10 gesture bar hidden, swipe up from bottom right corner to go back which leaves the side bar pull out functionality unaffected by the new stupid Android 10 gestures). Anyone know if there's a way to bring that style back?

Plenty of apps on the play store for that matter ?

Works great for me.

Not a fan of the app solution unfortunately. It wouldn't be as good as the system implemented gestures IMO.

How to Replicate Pixel C's Navigation Bar Design?

When the Google Pixel C tablet was updated to Android 6.0.1, it had a slight change on the navigation bar. The back and home buttons were placed on the bottom left side of the screen, while the recent apps button is on the bottom right. I think the change made navigation and usage of tablets easier. Unfortunately, the change was only present on the Pixel device.
Could anyone help me how to make the navigation bar look like from Pixel C's, on my 6.0.1 (CM13) device? I have issues with Xposed, so I cannot use it. Thank you.

one plus 5T/6 gestures on v30?

Is there any mod or anyone who can develop oneplus gestures available for 5t or 6 for lg v30 instead of navbar?
Before anyone suggest xda gestures app i don't want that...! Purely gestures on lg stock firmware?
there is a small program - navigation gestures.
available at playstore. it simulates the gesture control with swipes, but has some drawbacks i couldn't fix, so decided to uninstall it. but you may try if it fits to you.
drawback?

I also tried Navigation Gestures (even bought it) but switched to Fluid Navigation, I feel it works better but still not as well as my former OP6 or iPhone but well enough to keep on my V30.
Theres a line at the bottom, when i type something often tapping on this line and phone goes to home screen
no other way

In this (Fluid NG) app you can set the lowest sensitivity. I think it might help.
Sent from my LG G6 using XDA Labs
I've been using this app for a while with no issues

I also use a substratum layer to set my nav bar to 0 height so I don't have to use some weird work around to hide the nav bar. It's been a good combo for me

Did u tried this app by just giving root access to disable navbar and enable main switch.?

That will work. But I'd rather just get rid of the nav bar completely. When I used the app to hide it, the nav bar would sometimes come back
xposed

I think stock navigation bar is better than OnePlus gestures and fluid navigation. I tried both and believe me my hands get so tired of swiping up and down. Buttons are good

Customize navigation gesture area

Hey guys, is there any way to customize the navigation swipe gesture areas in One UI? I love the new recent apps gesture with the smooth animation, but I would like that the entire bottom area was used to do the recent apps gesture, killing the back and home gestures. As I use the FNG app for side gestures, using the bottom gesture only for recent apps would be great!
I know, without root, this may be impossible, but maybe substratum could do some tricks...?!
I use FNG for everything. Bottom left half does recent apps, bottom right half does home.

I see that, and it's amazing. But, unfortunately, it has no transition animation like the native navigation gesture. =/
I'm a little confused on what you mean...

I mean that, on One UI, when you enable the native navigation gestures, you can swipe to open the recent apps screen, and as you swipe up, the app follows your finger, giving us a sweet animation, just like the Xiaomi, iOS and others. But the area to swipe to recent apps doesn't fill the entire bottom area of the Galaxy S10, so there's other gestures to the back button and home button. What I would like to know is, if there's any trick to remove the back and home swipe gestures, and fill the whole bottom area to the recent apps gesture only, like iOS and Xiaomi.
FNG act as a "click", so as soon as you do the gesture, it opens the recent apps screen, without that animation that follows your finger as you swipe.
Sorry if I'm not being clear, I'm working on my English yet. =/

Ah, I think I know what you're saying. Unfortunately I am unsure of how to have the animation follow similar to stock navigation gestures using anything other than the baked in version Samsung gave.
And it's not your English, I'm just a little slow at times, haha.

Swipe down for notification bar

Hello there,
I had a quick question about the swiping down gesture.
Every android phone I've had let me swipe down from pretty much anywhere on the screen to open the notification bar.
The Oppo Reno 10x however requires me to swipe from the very top edge of the screen, and even then it seems to dislike it when I try from the center of the top of the screen.
Is there a way to disable the swipe down opening this app list search menu? I find it very unintuitive.

Use lawnchair.
Well yes, using a different launcher is a possibility I had considered, but is there literally no option to do so on the standard ColorOS one?
Good question, really want that feature on Oppo launcher, but I doubt there will be a possibility unless Oppo will implement it via software.

You can use gesture apps to do so...that is the only option I can think of.

And would you happen to know of a good one that replaces swiping down entirely?
The ones I seem to have found only work on the edges and replace all gestures in their respective zones. Which would be an okay workaround (if I select only say, right edge swipe down = notifications) but a bit convoluted and unwieldy as well.
Oh i feel you! I don't want to part with the stock launcher for the slick animations. My workaround at the moment is the app notification draw on the home screen. It isn't the best solution but all there is atm I guess.
The workaround is to use the Assistive Ball. You can tap it to drop down the notification shade.
I'd much prefer that Oppo had taken a leaf from Huawei and LG's book and added the option for a fourth soft key to drop down notifications from any screen as it's too tall to reach comfortably.
But the Assistive Ball will solve for both notification drop down and screen off without reaching for the power button (in addition to one-tap lockscreen). Inelegant yet a solution all the same.
good workaround

Assistive ball is good workaround.
I got sick of Assistive Ball constantly needing to be moved around and ditched the stock launcher.
OPPO should fix this, a phone as tall as the Reno 10x needs a better way to get to the notification shade.
Surprise find - the "One-Tap Lockscreen" shortcut is actually an app, so you can map gestures like double tap in third party launchers to it in order to lock the screen without resorting to janky workarounds like accessibility options or screen timeouts.

Can't use native Android 10 gestures instead of Hawei's gestures

Hello xda members
I'd like to enable natively android's 10 gestures feature rather than the Huawei's gestures feature (pulling the pill to get back to the previous screen rather than pulling from an edge for example).
Im using an Honor 20 with Android 10.0.0.198 and Magic UI 3.0.0, and I know about the NavBar app.
Thanks in advance
I want this too! Just to be able to swipe down from anywhere on the homescreen for notifications, not have to get to the top of the phone!
