Hi!
I'm wondering of someone reading my post is having Surface Duo emulator installed and running.
Can anyone extract the ringtones out of it's OS image and put them here ?

I have it installed and it's basically just stock Android with a custom launcher for now.

Not Allot but fun to play with.
There is not much to see in the current version of the Duo EMU, As was already said, it seems to be for the most part the base Android experience with the ability to play with the UI in it's native layout (Dual Screen) it's plain but you can bring files over from your host environment like wallpapers and such, it may be possible to side load apps to see how they act in the environment. idk if you could sideload the play store and load up you favorite apps to try and get a solid feel. I like playing with it to sandbox stuff and just get myself used to the form factor and over UI (Coming from a long line of Samsung Note's). Here is the factory app list according to the MS Duo Page:

[Q] Best apps u have used in ur L920

Tell me the best apps (games or general apps) u have used in ur L920. Here are my 2 cents
skype
nimbuzz
facebook
yousendit
smartshoot.
Well i couldnt find much of good apps. If u found anything new, do comment below as everyone can try it.
Thanks..
what i use
it really says a lot when the best apps on my Windows Phone (Lumia 920) are the following:
Nokia Drive
Nokia Music
Photobeamer
Smart Shoot
All are made by Nokia and available for free.
Besides those I use the following a lot:
gMaps
Metrotube
Package Tracker
Tunein Radio
Only non Nokia one I really love would have to be Weave. Sexiest news reader out there.
Otherwise I use TuneIn, Though I wish it had a few more features such as tagging songs.
Oh and TripView for Sydney public transport is as excellent as the IOS and Android versions.
Frequently used:
Metro Tube
Nokia Maps -> Drive
Weave
Weather Flow
Nokia Music
Fhotoroom / Creative Studio
Photobeamer is one of the slicker things I've seen in a while.
Photofunia
Rhapsody
Weave
AP
Nokia Drive
WPCentral
Podcatcher
WeatherFlow
IMDB
UK Bus Checker
Ocado On The Go
Nokia Maps
There have been quite a number that I've enjoyed using so far travelling around the south of England.
By far and away, it's nokia maps and drive, but I've used NavigationShortcuts to pin destinations to the home screen.
Nokia city lense, and TripAdvisor are great for discovering what's around
ConnectivityShortcuts is my goto for turning on and off GPS, WiFi, and LTE.
Nokia Transport does a great job in London for replacing TFL.gov.uk, as does the UK Bus Checker
The microsoft Translator app works well going from french to english
I've enjoyed using Nokia Music for just some background music, and Tune-inRadio has ample internet radio lists
Primetube is a great free youtube viewer
What did I miss?
Connectivity Tiles - This is the best cellular, airplane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth tile shortcut app I could find.
Weather (the MS one)
Notes - This app lets you add text into a live tile so you don't have to click anything to see your note.
WPCentral
IMDB
Newegg
Amazon
Paypal
AccuWeather and Met Office for weather info
XE best currency app
Facebook if poor on windows phone, I am sure it will improve
GPS toolkit for switching gps on and off
Settings tile for switch phone data, wireless, bluetooth and airplane mode on\off
Skype
Tripit
Tube map works well
Tunin Radio
And as said above, all the Nokia apps are great. love the maps and the transport app, but city lens and local scout are fabulous.

Dlna Server on Windows Phone?

Hello,
is there any app which can provide a dlna server on my Lumia 920 with WP8.1? Ich want to have the possibillity to browse the files stored inside my smartphone with my enigma2 driven set top box.
I tried "Nokia Play to", "Smart Player" and some other apps from the windowsphonestore but as far as i know they are just Players and no servers. With These apps i can browse the server on my set top box but i can not send files to the Server. Is there any solution for my issue?
Thanks for your help
"Nokia PlayTo" is DLNA server, not a player. But you need Nokia handset to run this app. AFAIK, there are no other DLNA servers for WP7/WP8 but WP 8.1 has new API called "PlayTo". Unfortunately in dev preview this API implementation lacks of server functionality ("regular" Windows 8.1 has, I've played video from Surface tablet to my TV). Hope, MS will add this functionality to WP 8.1 release and we'll see a lot of DLNA servers/players in Store
Thank you for your help. So i will wait until MS fixes this problem.

[Q] Will I have any problems if I update Android and have some apps disabled?

I have Moto G and it will get soon Android L.
I have disabled some apps I don't use like Google Books, Google Movies, HP Print, Cloud Print, Text to Speech and Motorola Alert.
If I update Android, will I have any problems?

The Ultimate Android Smartwatch for kids (not Wear OS)

I just bought my son a dokiWatch S.: https://www.doki.com/dokiwatchs/
It runs Android 4.4 and their launcher Doki something.
I will be honest, the UI and responsiveness is CRAP, but it's to track my son with special needs, and it can do regular phone calls (their VOIP app is also CRAP). The specs show the device runs 4GB storage and 512MB ram. If we could get away to install Google DUO or Messenger Kids, this would be a VERY CAPABLE little device for video call, messaging, Google Trusted Contacts and Google Map (the device has it own GPS).
Any ideas ?

Feedly for Wearable & Insta360 Controller apps

I am a new Wear OS user with Samsung Watch 4.
And I also started publishing apps for Wear OS.
Here are my 2 apps:
Gear Feed Settings for Wear - Apps on Google Play
Companion app for Gear Feed (Feedly for Gear) - (Wear OS & Samsung Tizen)
play.google.com
Feedly for Wearable is a Feedly (www.feedly.com) client for smart watches.
Watch Control for Insta360 - Apps on Google Play
This is the new Wear OS application for Insta 360 cameras (Basic version)
play.google.com
Watch Control for Insta360 is a remote controller for Insta360 cameras.
I hope you like my apps. And if you have any feedback or feature request please feel free to write.
Thanks.
I would like to try your Feedly app but it is not available to install on my SM-R870 (Galaxy Watch 4) saying "this app is not compatible with your device"
How to remove the ads and can I add more sources
