How to enable wifi calling, with cellular preferred, in lollipop?

In kitkat, I went to wireless & networks, wi-fi calling settings, and then I could choose "wifi preferred," "wifi only," or "cellular preferred."
Now I upgraded to lollipop, and I can't find anything like that. As far as I can tell now, by enabling wifi calling, all calls are forced to wifi. Is there some way to enable wifi calling but only use it when the cellular network is unavailable?
I figured it out!
Long-press on Wi-Fi Calling, and a new menu appears, that allows you to specify preference

Mobile settings - impact on voice calls / reception

Hi, sorry if this is a frequently asked question. I have a new edge and was originally on a 3g sim only plan and all was well. Last week I switched to a 4g sim only plan (BT Mobile). Since then the reception around my house has been really poor, and voice calls almost impossible.
Looking though the settings the only difference I saw was --> Network mod, changed from to WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) to LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect)
If I change this setting back to WCDMA/GSM (auto connect), voice calls / reception in the house if fine (but now 4g is switched off for data).
I don't understand how to trouble shoot this. BT Mobile confirmed good 4g out doors, poor indoors for my address, but I don't understand why voice calls are not so poor. Please could anyone assist in explaining why the phone behaves this way and if it is a hardware fault or perhaps just a software / deisgn issus
Thanks

How to activate WiFi Calling on Honor 8X

This may work for other phones but it certainly worked on my 8X.
I have WiFi calling activated on my Vodafone account in the UK. But the 8X isn't listed as a supported phone (some other Huawei phones are) and there was no WiFi calling setting.
You need to install Nova Launcher.
Load Nova and go to Widgets
Select Nova Activities
Scroll down to Settings
Select Settings and scroll down to WiFi Calling
There are two WiFi calling settings - I presume one is for each of the two SIM cards
Select one of them and either create a shortcut or just turn it on and leave it.
I did all steps, but still the WiFi calling not working in my Honor 8x. really disappointed. I just switched from iOS to Android because I need some more freedom in my phone and to use twin apps , but I'm living at a remote area where it difficult to find good network to call but the Wifi calling. my SIM card is supported WiFi call and it was working just fine with my old phone ( iPhone ).
please help me out with this issue.

yeah wifi calling always been a little funny with voda. sometimes toggling things such as wifi calling on and off on the app and website causes some odd tech issues whereby it just doesn't work and you need a staff member using the staff software to finally give it a shove. this never happens with three or EE, just pop in the sim and it works...
True, it worked automatically while I was on Three

Wifi Calling on EE UK?

So i got my Mi 8 Pro yesterday (Global Version). The one feature I cannot seem to activate is Wifi Calling, I have done both the *#*#86583#*#* (voLTE) and *#*#869434#*#* (voWIFI), both options are enabled in *#*#4636#*#* and when i go into my sim settings both VoLTE and Wifi Calling are enabled
voLTE shows the symbol in my task bar however wifi calling never seems to enable? Is there some other setting I am missing or do I need to get EE to disable and re-enable it on my account since I've swapped phones? It's vital for me as I work in a lot of places without cell reception so i rely on wifi calling.
Any help is appreciated

Hello, my friend is also like you, he is the development version of WiFi can not be used but the stable version of the MIUI system can be used. You can try to re-wire the stable version of the MIUI system, I wish you good luck.
