How to custom randomised Mac address on Android 10 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I own a pocophone F1 which recently got the android 10 update which come with the randomised Mac address setting. At first I thought by activating the said setting I had get a different Mac address each time I connect to a X network but it seems like a set Mac address is associated with X network even when I forget it and reconnect. I wonder if there is a way to customised the random Mac address.
Thank you

[Q] Mac filtering preventing connection

Got an s3 today from radioshack. I had an S2 before. I went home and tried to connect to wifi like I normally do. I use WPA2 Personal TKIP+AES encryption with MAC filtering enabled so only devices I know about can connect on my WiFi (friends were jerks and I needed a way to control who gets on.) Anyway, I added the Mac address to the list of trusted devices and tried to connect after putting in the WiFi password. I was unable to connect and the error message it gives is "authentication error occurred" "incorrect password". A bit of trouble shooting later, because i knew the password was right. I decided to disable the MAC filtering for a moment to see if I could connect. I was able to connect, but as soon as i enabled the MAC filtering it disconnected with the same error.
My Question is, is there a way to fix this problem? Without rooting and without disabling MAC filter permanently
Things I have tried:
changing the frequency of the router tried channel 1-11 (phone only works on channel 6 with filter disabled)
changing the authentication type
removing re adding the mac address
rebooting the router
rebooting the phone
standing in-front of the router with the phone pass-phrase input
dialing *#0011# and turning off power saving on the WiFi
I assume you've double checked the mac address is correct? Ensured lower case for a-f chars? Oddly it does seem as if its an incorrect mac address.
Does your router show macs of connected devices if you turn filtering off? If so, copy / paste from there?

just wanted to update and let you guys know whats going on. I found out what the problem was, and I am currently taking steps to fix it. So the mac filtering is the problem for sure. I did not input anything wrong. I found out that because the S2 and the S3 are similar the mac address of both phones cant be added at the same time or neither device can connect to the network. I decided to root the S2 and change the Mac address so that both devices should be able to connect.
Better than rooting the S3 since i dont have insurance on it.
anyway hope this update helps someone else who has the same problem.

Changing Android i.p. address (Help)

My school recently blocked my i.p. address from trying too connect to the WiFi. Is thier any way to get back on or change my i.p.
My device is Lg Leon Android lollipop
Blocked not ip
They can not block IP address, because DHCP server give IP address to device, and you can always change your IP in WiFi settings. They block your MAC address. This is unique value on each WiFi device. So, you must change MAC address, but it is not possible for all device (my phone do not support).
Are you sure that they blocked you? May be DHCP server have not free IP addresses or Internet was disabled.
And... may be school enable MAC filtering and WiFi allows to connect only teacher's devices. So you must to know MAC address one of the teacher's devices. But this is another story with airmon and social engineering
If they are smart they will do what I did for my sons schools. And run a static ip on all approved devices and then make as stated above use Mac filtering. More and more schools are banning the use of personal devices and to be honest I agree with it.

Disabling WiFi MAC address randomization doesn't actually work?

I've just gotten a Moto G Power. I have kids, so my router's parental controls are set up to alert me of new devices joining the home network so I can give them appropriate permissions.
My new phone is constantly connecting with different MAC addresses, causing me to get spammed with alerts. I changed all the home WiFi networks on the phone to "Use Device MAC", but it doesn't seem to make any difference. It's still using random MACs and there's no device connected to the router with the "real" MAC of the phone.
Anyone have any suggestions?
update...seems okay now
I just checked my router and it's showing the expected device MAC rather than a random one. Maybe it just took a while for something to time out or something. Weird.

Can't assign a static IP to Pixel 3

I want all devices on my home network to have static IPs. I entered my Pixel 3's wifi MAC address into the router settings to reserve an IP for it. However, the Pixel seems to ignore that assignment and just grabs the next available IP via DHCP using a different MAC address. I am guessing this has something to do with randomized MAC addresses turned on in Android settings.
Is it possible to keep randomized MAC addresses on and still have static IPs work correctly?

Disabling random wifi mac address - Realme 7 pro

Realme 7 pro (RMX2170) running Android 10 got random wifi mac address feature enabled by default and the only way to disable that is to change individual wifi properties AFTER connecting to the network (per ssid basis). That is a problem for me because our Institute wifi uses PEAP and needs device mac to be registered first on their system. Since my device is not connecting via true device mac (which I registered), I can't connect it to the network. There's no option in developer options as well.
the same by Realme 7 5G (RMX2111) android 11 UI V2.0, i cannot give a fixed MAC address!
I can say to use a fixed address but every joining WLan the last six HEX Numbers were random playing....
