Hi, where to find that ROM? I can't find any old MIUI ROMs on the internet.

Okay, I got it working.
At first I couldn't even flash anything with MiFlash, I was greeted with "flash partition error".
So I had to enter EDL mode first by shorting two pins on the motherboard, as shown in this video:
Then I flashed MIUI developer 9.6.27 and switched to stable release directly from system update app.

Hi there,
Just wondering if your Note 5 was the WHYRED type? And how did you install PE Andriod 10?
My device is forever booting to FASTBOOT when installing Andriod 9 with Redwolf.

I just updated from Miui10 8.9.7 (8.1) to 8.9.11 (9.0) with booting TWRP through fastboot and using TWRP to update. Worked great, no need to wipe data, kept everything as was!

Right after install rom you hv to install Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt. After that install magisk.

Little question,
can I install this with locked bootloader and without wiping my data?
At the moment, I am on latest global stable 9.6.7.0
I tried to use the updater app, but I got error message, that I can't flash new android version (9) from 8.1. So maybe I can dirty-update older version with 8.1 and update through updater?

There is something called personal preference.
Just like you prefer MIUI some others prefer custom ROMs

Good luck with your project ?
[ i'm noob ] Does orange fox recovery working properly on miui 11 ? Unfortunately,i was update my riva to miui 11,succed to unlock bootloader but not with twrp, when i was flash twrp via fastboot, twrp just show up red screen then dim to black screen & only vibrate when touched. I was forgot to add command delete recovery from fastboot, before flashing twrp. Please help, any suggest to proper twrp at stock miui 11 global stable ? Sorry for bed english.
Not work properly when downgrade from MIUI 11 Oreo, now i experience messed up with stock miui rom,try to reverse back with flash full recovery rom from twrp, succed to flash, but when boot into setup wizard, error message appear,eg; "miui daemon has stopped, under that pop up,again error pop up "google service framework has stopped" > "xiaomi service framework has stopped" > "setting has stopped" & bla...bla..bla...! I can't pass setting wizzard, can't continue to normal screen. Then i flash pixel xperience rom 9.0,flawlessly boot until setting wizard done, run smoothly without error. Usually i like to change between custom then stock rom from twrp when i was bored with 1 rom. But now i'm stuck on pixel experience 9.0 (caf) & no twrp working properly when want to flash stock miui oreo.

Can't install TWRP after android 10 update

hello everyone
I was using miui 11 port on my MI a3 and it was good
I updated my A3 to stock a10 but that was a bad idea.
now i want to switch back to the miui but every time i flash the twrp image on slot b , after reboot the phone automaticlly reboots to fastboot (of course i long press vol+ ). it's the same with slot a
can you guys help me with that?
I made a big mistake buying android one phone . I used to have redmi note 3 with miui . i wanted a new exprience but miui is perfect
thank you
UPDATE
I flashed the latest official fastboot rom and that was ok with the anti rollback. But all the sensors were gone . Then I installed twrp and that was successful ( thanks God) . But after flashing miui , it stock at boot animation for about one our. Then i format data > flashed the firmware in the miui A3 channel in slot b
Installed miui again and the twrp after that . Then changed the slot to a and reboot. It's booted up now the miui is ok battery is ok and all of the sensors are working fine
Thanks to @bitnet for the great job porting this rom
Now that you have updated to 10 downgrading to earlier version may cause some unpleasant like sensor errors. Not sure though I have not flashed MIUI yet but I have downgraded from 10 to stock 9 and all sensors are broken. I was forced to flash persist partition and it was ok but I lost widevine L1 forever. So no more HD MOVIES watching from netflix or amazon

Xiaomi EU V11 Rom updated to android 10

xiaomi eu Based on China Stable rom Adnroid 10
V11 11.0.1.0
Download from here
install from twrp recovery
Yeap, nice one, just dirty flashed (Clear cache & dalvik 1st) from mi.eu stable 11.0.8.0 via OrangeFox.
Everything works great so far, no issue, better then mi.eu stable v11.0.8.0 Android Pie.
One note: since the ROM upgrades Android version from 9 to 10, the data encryption changes (if you enable it), so the next time you boot into recovery after upgrade you won't be able to decrypt data to flash new stuff (as I tried to do with Magisk). Normally the recovery displays a password prompt for decryption but in my case they didn't. My solution is to flash the latest TWRP from the official website. Not sure if anyone would encounter this problem, so I'll just throw it out there.

I was using OrangeFox R10.1_3 when I upgraded to mi.eu Android 10, it works great with Android 10 encryption, I can see files after I enter my lockscreen pattern and flash files (I only flashed hosts file, I don't use Magisk).

Hi, you can install Orange Fox Recovery.

Miui 11 wont boot...

Hi guys,
So I have a Redmi 5 Plus, which has served me very well for two years.
I was getting rather restless and i decided to unlock the bootloader, install twrp and flash some custom roms. I played around with Havoc and a couple of others. In the end i found it impossible to live without call recording and second space, and so i installed Miui 11 Android 9 which i got off xiaomi.eu
It worked perfectly. However, the other day i was having a slow day at work and thought i would play around some more. I installed crdroid and pixel experience, and replaced twrp with orangefox. Played around with them and still decided to revert to Miui 11. When i flashed it though, on reboot it stays on the mi logo for a few minutes and then reboots. It repeats this a few times and then goes back into recovery.
What am i doing wrong? I would apreciate any advice as to how i can get my miui back!
Thanks
