Android 10 with battery bar - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone, I'm looking for an rom for poco that has Android 10 and the ability to show an battery bar. I always used havoc because it has lots of customization options very fast implemented, but with android 11 being in beta already, it lacks a lot. I installed bliss on my tablet and it did had lots of custom features including battery bar. It's not available for poco (and I dont have the disk space to compile it). Who knows a rom with this feature?

Wuh? A battery bar? That's all you want?
Stock MIUI 11 / Android 10 has an optional battery bar. So did pretty much every custom firmware I used to use. Doesn't sound like a tall order

That's not all i want, but its such a low priority for most rom developers. So when that's implemented, it has most i want. BUT if is in Android 10.. since when, and where do i find it..?

In settings search for "Battery indicator" (it's Display > Notch & status bar > Battery indicator)
Graphical will give you a bar indicating the battery level

REQ Wp7 status bar

I'm looking for a flashable wp7 status bar I use the launcher but the status bar changes. If anyone has this or have time to make it thanks.
Not sure if such a thing exists as the WP7 status bar is so radically different from the regular android status bar. you can however try out StatusBar+
And it will stay persistently in all apps. The only downside so far is that it also remains in full screen apps.
You can find the whole set of current and upcoming WP7-like apps at http://sevenplusandroid.org/
Thnx I that's what I was looking for

Actually with my latest update it is possible to choose which applications you would like the status bar to automatically hide in. ie. Camera, YouTube, etc. Of course it is still not perfect, and it has not yet been tested on every device, but with all luck such a technique should at least make the status bar usable on a daily basis. Hopefully Android will put some API out in the future allowing applications to know if the current application is full screen, as I hardly see this as a security risk.

[MOD][XPOSED] Battery Percentage Text

This module for Android Lollipop/Marshmallow (5.x.x/6.x.x) adds the current battery percentage to the lock screen, notification shade header, and status bar. The app includes options for enabling or disabling the injected text, changing the position of the text relative to the battery icon, and changing the appearance of the text.
Note that this has not been tested on Nougat (7.x.x). As of Oreo (8.x.x), this module is no longer needed, as the battery percentage text is now properly shown alongside the battery icon when enabled in the System UI Tuner.
Xposed Module Repository
thanks for this module. it is possible to add an option so we can see the battery percentage text on the right side of the battery icon?
Not working on CM 12.1. I'd be happy to test out any test releases to get this working. This is something I miss from KitKat.
Thank you so much man @Extrinsic. It has puzzled me to no ends why there was no decent module for this very specific purpose. This is such neat & useful module. Cheers ??
Can you send a screenahot if the lockscreen? I wanna see what it's like, and hate to take risks (downloading modules and flashing things - i have tons of data on ny phone) for no good reason.

Just get an app which tells you the percentage. There are so many. I think "battery doctor" does that, and you could really easily do something like that with tasker.

Oh... Just cyanogenmod LOL.
LG G2 cm12.1 doesn't work. I now it has battery percentage built-in but it sucks, I want this one.
Nexus 5 stock 6.0.1 work OK
it seems that font size is smaller at status bar than at lock screen, don't it?
This absolutely genius module no longer works on most ROMs it used to. Probably due to framework changes in AOSP.
Can you kindly update it to work with current AOSP ROMs?
Plus, it never worked on any CM-based ROMs due to their customization.
Thank you so much.
New version (v1.1):
- Added support for unexpanded notification shade header
- Added options for customizing positions and font sizes
- Allowed injected text to receive alpha channel and color changes made to status bar elements
- Fixed compatibility issues with some AOSP and CyanogenMod-based ROMs

I've tested it so far on the 5.1.1 and 6.0.1 Google stock ROMs, CyanogenMod 13 (6.0.1), and Pure Nexus (6.0.1). Hopefully, it should work with most near-stock ROMs now.
This is an amazing module, I am loving it, thank you for doing it. It works great with the latest update in my Moto G 3rd Generation (2015) with stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It would be nice to have an option to hide the app from the launcher, as many modules have, and It would be nice to have more text sizes, or a configurable text size bar. Anyway, it is awesome, keep the good work!

battery %

Anyone know how to display the battery percentage in the notification bar? I don't see battery as an option in the system UI tuner.

Yeah I can't find it anywhere either. In the Nokia 7.1 forums someone said they had a chat with a rep that said it would be implemented in a future release, for whatever that's worth...

Question REDMI NOTE 10: battery text percentage color bug?

after updating to miui 13, the battery text percentage is not contrasted correctly with the battery symbol. how to fix?
it's not a bug, it's a feature of MIUI

so you're telling me that the battery text percentage having the same color (white) as the battery symbol is a feature of miui? that's kinda counter productive isn't it? why would they even put that as a feature if the user can't see what percent their battery has?

this is actually a bug , you have to report it to xiaomeme on the Comments App and wait to be fixed (only if they actually see the report wich can be taken as a miracle)
what he means is that MIUI is full of bugs so bugs can be taken as features

Question Are there any ROMs that fix the android 12 ugly UI back to something like android 11?

Title says it all, I hate the bubble toggles that take up the entire screen and require multiple taps. I'm familiar with rooting, and flashing just curious what ROMs are available to help fix this. Thank you in advance!
To the best of my recollection, none as the UI elements are baked into the source code. To go back to the Android 11 UI I think you would need to use an Android 11 ROM, none of which exist for the P6.
Aosp mods does but u lose icon name. It's great to have circle icons again
Use Nova launcher and you can change the look of a lot of the elements. No root needed.

Except Nova Launcher doesn't work for the toggles in the notification shade, which is what I believe the OP was looking to change.

The UI involves more than just the notification shade, which wasn't mentioned. Could have been more specific.
Hope you find a solution.

Well, the OP did mention bubble toggles in his opening post. Agreed that being more specific would have helped. Thank you for the reminder about what kind of work it takes to mod the UI, as I haven't done it in years, especially with Substratum making it painless.
why couldn't someone build android 11 for the pixel 6? any reason it not possible?
I guess the OP is talking about the ugly quick settings with large tiles that take up space and requires multiple clicks to adjust internet and other settings.
The product design of software is the worst I have seen.
Nova launcher cannot alter the quick settings.

So long as it doesn't use the cancer that is Xposed it meets with my approval.
TBH I don't have a major issue with the Android 12 toggles except for the behavior of the connection toggles, and I already fixed that with Better Internet Tiles so there you go.
This module has a ton of options for the UI. I used it for a while and it seemed fine but I haven't reinstalled it because I didn't really want the added bloat to change one thing (wifi and mobile data toggles).

The wasted space for notifications is just too much....I find it hard to believe a human being that actually uses the phone approved this. It's some next level mental degeneracy! lol
