It seems that the Chinese version update is different from the international version. The Chinese version update supports the Bluetooth call at 2020.1.16. Huami said that the Chinese version will be updated in 3.19, but did not say what to update

Hello, I have seen that to answer whatsapp and calls you need an esim, I would like to know if it is possible to respond with any program without the need of esim, using wifi or BT.
If yes, I would like to know if it is functional, if there are no delays in notifications, if I can answer whatsapps with audio, or by dictating, or better still, with a voice message.

You have to download some Rom for it from here. Choose a Custom they working really fine. The Watch works mostly longer that 12 Month of Warranty and it's no Problem to Unlock the Bootloader for it. That's was you have to do. It's a Tool here for Flash and Install Apk's. Make Backup and some Adb Stuff. They are healing your Watch.

Different region uses different firmware versions. Here in US, we only have carrier branded versions and any firmware update will be carrier specific, approved by the carrier. When I got my AT&T Gear S the first day , it updated right away to a new firmware. No more new updates.

I am in the UK, not bound by any carrier, I got a similar sized update on day one. Now on software build R750XXU1BNJA
Some reported to say it fixes a couple of notifications bugs and improved battery life.

My AT&T version latest firmware version is R750AUCU1ANJ7. That was from 11/7, the release day. From the looks of it, you guys are already on newer firmware BNJx. We probably have to wait another couple months or so before we see any new firmware due to extra carrier scrutiny.
I am US on ATT too and have the same firmware version and same first day update and none since, just to confirm
from Italy, my version is R750XXU1BNJ7

I did see the following differences:
- can make screen-shots
- can change (add and delete) the APN for mobile network
- if there is a small border on top of screen you can swipe down and have some options (don't swipe from the top. just from the center down)
I did see some small UI changes. There is maybe more, but I don't have phone paired with the watch
I got my Gear S yesterday, and automatically asked to download this update.
AFAIK (and read hear) many tablets come with these fake-shop ROMs.
But after I started my Pad4LTE it said, there is an update and it installed it..
Settings and all the other stuff is ENGLISH and I even have a PlayStore installed?!
But before putting my MI.com and/or google credentials into the tablet, I wanted to know if that ROM is legit or some fake ROM.

My guess is that they installed it for you at the shop. Mail them to confirm.
Maybe the did in China, because it was delivered from there directly to me.. No extra stop in Europe somewhere. The "shop"/site/seller name is "tradingshenzhen".. But I will mail them to be sure, before adding PlayStore/MI-account.. I am still wondering why I have a Chinese nano SIM..

He actually did you a favour, he could have unlocked your bootloader and put a 3rd party modified ROM as others have done.
About the nano SIM, others received it to. Maybe they need to test the tablet and don´t bother taking it back out.
As long as you have a locked bootloader, you should be ok with a legit official ROM.
So, when I unlock my BL the PlayStore will be removed, because it will be "factory reseted" or?

When unlocking bootloader everything is erased, yes.
I see the update is out for Slovakia a few hours ago. So its here. Let's get some links so the rest of us can get it installed.

Thanks, I managed to force it through. I couldn't do it through recovery since MIUI recovery 5.0 doesn't have update option. So I did it through updater - choosing an installation package
I'm in the the UK and the update is waiting for me. Not too bothered about it tho as it's MIUI and that means for every bug fix means at least 2 new bugs.

I used it. down and up firmware, but, the watch screen is update failed
Only a FULL Reset would "possibly" make a Update! How much Space have you on the Watch? How many Applecations are installed? Rootet Watch?

please install the Mod "AmazMod". These is helping you but ONLY if your Watch is Rooted! Notify for Amazfit & Zepp is ONLY for Writing OWN Notififcations, these Application is NOT a Costless One! You have to Pay for it IF you would it use without Restrictions and Adware.

Hello! So, first you have to download the Tool "Tool All In One" here from xda, i have it here for you so you don`t have to search. There is insode the possibility to Unlock your Bootloader. AmazBoost is tuning your Software that she is going smoother and faster and holds more Battery Life.

Do you know how you use the ADB Bridge? If not, you should have to read how it is gonna work and what kind of Orders you have to use for it.
You have to use the Driver from Google for Android Devices too. These you have to search and download by yourself.
