[Rom] need help to find rom stock for a95x f3 - Android Stick & Console AMLogic based Computers

Hi,
I've looked all over the internet( not only in the forum) for stock rom for my streamer a95x f3.
There is no one place that gives this rom and looks "Safe" to try on the device.
Is there anyone who has this device and change its rom and it works for him? I would love to get some help here. :angel:
Thanks.

Have you tried chinagadgetsreviews website?
They have one there.

Find it there! thanks

I've tried to install it via sd card and the roms that they have there didn't work.
I tried in the next way:
1. Change the img file to a zip file
2. Copy the zip file to sd card
3. Tap on the recovery button at the streamer and plug in the power
4. In the android select the "Apply update from SD card"
5. Select the Zip file
I get the same error message with all the rom's I tried.
Any other suggestions?

You need to prepare the sd card with the program : burn card maker 2.0.3 or higher
Or you can flash it through a pc with : usb burning tool 2.2.0
But with this method you will need male-to-male usb cable.
There are many tutorials in YouTube, either for burn card makee or usb burning tool.

Playing Games Off USB Drive

Hi So i recently got a LG G2 but unfortunately the 16gb version, and what was worst is that you are only allowed to used 10gb:crying:
So as i love gaming, listening to my favorite music and watching awesome videos, I needed a way to get more space to hold everything..
Eventually I came across an App called FolderMount, unfortunately you need your device to be rooted for this app.
You will also need a OTG microUSB adapter.. Not sure if this will work on all devices:silly:
Here is a step by step guide on playing games off a USB drive:
1. Install FolderMount, get it from play store
2. Install your game( I'm installing Fifa 14)

}
3. Create an empty folder in storage/emulated/0/Android/obb/com.xxxxx ( blank sd data folder )
4. Copy the game sd data onto a USB drive and plug the USB drive into your Android device using an OTG microUSB adapter
5. Now open FolderMount and in the top right corner tap the "+" icon
6. You may enter the game name to make mounting a game easier.
7. By Source, select the empty folder created in Step 3
8. By Destination, select the game sd data folder on the USB drive
9. Check Screenshot_4 to see:cyclops: how it should look.
10. Now in FolderMount, tap the pin icon and wait untill it turns green
11. Finally enjoy your game:victory:
It works for every app, right?

For small apps it should be pointless but for apps that hold more data, it should work.
Where did you buy the adaptor? And how large it is?

to select a folder you need to enter the folder itself. e.g enter /obb/com.xxxx(game data folder) then tap the tick in top right corner
Thanks
Thanks for sharing! May very well use this in the future.

Hi,
My M96X mini seems to have the same board and there is a reset button on the other side of it. It would be strange if yours had not.
By the way: what firmware did you try to burn?
@russellhearn69 sorry for your troubles. how did it die? did you come home and it wasnt working or did you brick it trying to change the software? what error are you getting with usb burn tool?

I bricked it with the USB tool. Wrote over the boot loader too. So I suppose the hardware is functional.

Kind regards.

Hard Bricked brand new Xiaomi Mi Pad 3. Please help!!

So, I've bought a Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 with a Chinese Rom, and I was following a tutorial to flash a new rom into it.
I basically did the following:
Installed MediaTek Drivers on PC
Opened "Smart Phone Flash Tool"
Specified Download-Agent as DA_SWSEC.bin and Scatter-loading File as the ROM
Unchecked preloader and clicked on "Download"
Connected the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 to the computer while pressing Volume Down
Then, at this point, the computer crashed with a blue screen of death with the error "BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER". Here is the diagnosis of the error:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After that, the Mi Pad won't turn on, won't respond to any button and is not recognized by the computer.... I think I might have hard-bricked it.
I've found a tutorial about recovering a Mi Pad 1, but one of the steps is to make a bridge in the SD Card slot, which Mi Pad 3 don't seem to have.
I'm a developer myself, I know my way on things, I have a VM Linux, I'm willing to open the tablet and do whathever it costs to recover it.
Please, what can I do??
Please, anyone?
I FUC*ING RECOVERED MY FUC*ING TABLET. FUC* YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know exactly what it was, but I kinda did the following:
- Installed the latest SP Flash tool from spflashtool.com on my PC
- Installed Mi PC Suite for drivers and such
- To help debug, I had a freeware called "Free Device Monitoring Studio", to better understand what's going on on my USB ports
- I was playing a little with the connection/desconnection of the device on my computer, trying to understand how it was. I saw that Kali Linux running under Oracle VM kinda recognized it as a Mediatek device, but couldn't do anything else than that. With that info, my hopes went a little higher, because it wasn't completely dead after all.
- I opened Flash tool, configured it to used the same ROM and files I was using when I bricked it, because I'm pretty sure they weren't the cause of the brick and clicked "Download"
- Then I began messing with the tablet trying to make it be recognized by SP Flash Tool, upon turning it on and off and switching USB ports and connecting them directly to the motherboard USB ports instead of the frontal USB ports
- Then at one point it suddenly recognized and started downloading and flashing the new ROM. I faced some errors but with Format all + Download and having to disconnect/reconnect the batery to make it recognizable again and some little tweaks here and there, it ended up working.
My tablet is working fine now

Root & TWRP with no PC

Hi!! I'm in vacations and I just bought my pocophone. I would like to transfer all my apps and data but I know that the only way of doing that is with a rooted phone cause there's no app that would do that, they only transfer the apk and that's it.
The phone had the bootloader unlocked but since I don't have a computer I can't find a way to install the twrp and the supersu directly from the phone.
I Google a lot but I couldn't find a way, is it possible? Is there any way of rooting (the whole process) without having a pc?
Thanks!

Thanks a lot but I already tried it (its call Mi Drop now) but only moved apk, no data for apps. I had to login and reconfigured all my apps again manually.

Sir i want to root my poco f1 without pc... Can u help me with that

Is it possible to recover the Moto C Plus in these conditions?

Hi, I have a moto c plus moto c plus xt1726.
His USB port is damaged and doesn't work, but I was still able to install roms through TWRP.
The problem: Yesterday I tried
Install a Custom Rom through TWRP, but something went wrong.
The smartphone doesn't leave the blue logo anymore:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then I accessed the recovery mode (Volume+ and Power). The installed rom seems to have modified the recovery interface, and now it looks like this:
The problem is I can't reinstall the rom.
I accessed "Apply Uptade", selected the sd card, then the rom(zip), but I get the error message:
I can't recover the moto c plus because the usb port doesn't work, and I also don't have access to android anymore, and consequently I don't have the TWRP anymore.

yes you can do it in many ways. SP tool is a little bit problematic. you can choose the simplest way on this planet. the software's name is rescue and smart assistant. it has a guide for lenovo/motorola customers.
1- download Rescue Lenovo from here
2- follow the exact procedure of the software.
pros: it will unlock device's code so you can have a very easy bootloader unlock using fastboot.
cons: it will remove twrp. (your's is already destroyed though)
