Buddy, of course I know what beta means. It's the fact that the title of the thread clearly says Stable and the screenshot also says Stable plus the fact that Xiaomi shut down the Global Developer builds so seeing this build and you saying how it's sad that it's a beta obviously causes confusion. Hope I made myself clear.

Work for k20 pro Raphael china version?

Hmm.. shows beta in mine.

the name of the beta is "Global Beta" and it's saying "stable" because it's just the way, only internal builds says beta. look it up. There's no STABLE PUBLIC update. it's just "stable" beta for public.
https://c.mi.com/thread-2919770-1-0.html
11.0.5.0 Global Beta = 11.0.3.0 EEA Beta.
you can apply for recruitment even for EEA/Global https://imgur.com/a/L0NOlw8

btw Retrolock proved you it's a BETA but for public its name is as stable public, only internal builds says Beta

It's "beta stable". It can be flashed with TWRP or OrangeFox.

I had my set updated by OTA 11.03.0

well, today it was released to public. so you were 50% right, but yesterday it was just for beta users, but it was only ~250 MB which was security patch and they fixed some issues so after that they today released it to the public.
---------- Post added at 05:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:13 PM ----------
btw fastboot rom isn’t out yet so it's not meant for 100% of public.

so today it is rolled back. As I said it's just "beta" stable to test something. But there are a lot of bugs.
Guys, install only those updates which have Fastboot option to download, because that is 100% meant for public.

that doesn't mean that there are several major bugs, for you it may be ok but they may be several bugs in the background for example. I am not developing MIUI so I can't say which bugs are there, but there are a lot to be it "Stable Global Public"

Cant use miui Now on latest beta constant camera crash stay in custom roms its far better and stable while stable build of miui also have random camera crash and media playback issues, no such issues in custom roms....
ook bro.So, no miui ever again!!
Try xiaomi.eu
They do weekly MIUI rom releases that can be flashed from TWRP without replacing it.

Global beta 8.10.9? but not 8.10.11

Just wondered,
Have anyone tried to install Global beta rom 8.10.9 instead of 8.10.11?
I found the information from 4pda.ru site, but the link crashed.
Is it real version can install on our poco and any special at the moment? Like it is based on Pie or something special?
No, it wasn't different from other beta versions apart from the fact that it wasn't a weekly public release. It wasn't any special. Don't bother looking for it, you'd be wasting your time.
Thank you for quick reply
Okay I will forget about this version. Thanks?

I guess this can't be flashed from MIUI Updater unless one is actually closed beta tester ?

You can flash it with TWRP without issues. You won't have to wipe or lose data. (if you are already on open BETA)

The closed beta posted (9.1.7) enables hide the notch again, but it has too much space under the notch. The time also replaces the icons after a set number of seconds (smh rediculous). The new closed beta (9.1.10) enables a new 'Dark' theme under the battery saver settings
UPDATE: Though the official Open Beta is in deed officially suspended, i would bet it will get re-released Monday as mostly has in the past.

Xiaomi Android Q beta programme

Hey XDA members.
Many of you asked me how I came across a beta version of android Q (MIUI n11).
Tonight I stumbled across the link I found last week.
Mi9 an a few other phones are eligable for the beta testing programme.
I could not get the file I downloaded to show in the Pixel Experience ROM I'm using or in TWRP. It may possibly be flashable in Miui? I do not know.
So if you are feeling brave an more of a geek than me enjoy
https://www.mi.com/global/androidqbeta/
We already have a thread about the Android Q Beta ..
https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/how-to/android-q-beta-mi-9-t3928180
And actually the Android Q beta shared there is a stock version of Android, not MIUI 11... So, I wonder what you've seen/tried
I think its the same android stock release not miui 11
It's pure, stock Android.
This guy has no idea what he's talking about.

I had not flashed it when I shared this. I tried it an your correct it isn't MIUI 11. And seemed to be gesture based with a lot of bugs. Confusing as the link seemed to indicate it was MIUI 11 in a beta form. It seemed like some kind of stock Android beta to me an I could not root it? Very wierd.
Oh well back to the drawing board for me?
