You're awesome, man, I thought I was going to miss my Bixby button, but then you stepped in and had this available day one when I got my phone! Thank you

Patiently waiting impatiently

Is there a way to keep the screen from turning on while using this with the screen off? I double press for flashlight, but the screen always turns on. Thanks.

Is possible remap botton for galaxy buds +?

Hello!
Pro version here :
Remapping the up and down volume buttons doesn't work with double click : I wanted to allocate double click to volume modes (silent/vibrate/on) but it keeps increasing/decreasing volume.
Long press is working great.
Do I miss something?

Where are the instructions for ADB? I don't have a PC.

Very nice, works on my Xperia Z. Do you think you could maybe make it so holding the volume button again, turns it off? and perhaps a safety thing so if it accidentally somehow turns on in your pocket, you can set a time to it auto turns off after 1-5 mins or something.
Works perfectly on Note II 4.1.2. I support Kocayine ideas in previous post.

Thanks man Works perfectly on galaxy grand 4.2.2. It would be better if it turn off by volume down instead of home buton.

Vol down short press (or vol up short press) to switch off torch would be perfect!
Also, could there be an option to automatically limit the duration of torch ON? With choices like 10sec, 30sec, 1min, 2min and infinite?
Thanks for consideration!
Would it be possible to add an interface that let's you choose how long it takes for the torch to come on? I listen to music on my phone all the time, and it's comes on occasionally when long pressing to increase volume.
Working on note2 with 4.3

Wakelock still there with v1.1... Is it app related, or hardware / phone / rom related?
Tested and working great, been looking for a flashlight app to exactly this. Thank you.

Home and Power button replacement (no-root)

For the people who is a control freak, or with broken power or home buttons, I am happy to share these two absolutely beautiful apps I have discovered.
1. Multi-action home button
http://www.google.co.in/url?q=https...7n4pkQ&usg=AFQjCNFsr2yX486-UxxUG3mGaS0z1TT6fQ
This app makes a virtual home button on the screen just above the home button. Various configurations to try. Double tap or long hold options available to set according to the user.
2. My Home button
http://www.google.co.in/url?q=https...YAjxHg&usg=AFQjCNHBABZ8kToSryvhOweLEj1UNpyu9w
This app enables a widget on the notification panel with option for home, recents and power buttons (and another one for app shortcuts ) Very handy if u r concerned about breaking ur power and home button.
And if u are handy with apktool and modding systemui, here is another option for the systemui mod. Try this link, and yes, this option requires root and works only on Samsung devices.

Cheers. And plz help me get some recognition in this community by hitting thanks button below.
Thanks for the recommendations. Didn't know Multi Action Home Button. Nice app, but like so often: pulling down the notification bar doesn't work on Lolliflop anymore!

Multi action home button is bada**. Lol. I use it all the time, and my home button, I use it just to lock the phone. Using Nova launcher prime, and fortunately the swipe down gesture works for notification panel in the latest update.

remap quicklaunch buttons?

I have the need for when screen off double tap volume + button to launch the torch. Volume down. Does the camera and that's great. But I need to see annoy setting volume + to torch. My g6 had the option I can't seem to find option on v30
Probably because in the V30 they expect you to have the AOD on and use the toggles in the scrolling menu there.
I am a retard and forgot that I installed an app called key plus from the play store so that I could remap the hardware buttons and what they do when the screen is off. Worth a check out for sure. Love the suck launch my torch with double press the volume up button when screens kicked makes for a handy flashlight quickly and double press again shuts it off without ever having to touch for screen

[SM-G935] How do I remap my power button?

I want to remap the power button so it toggles NFC when I long press it (only when the screen is on). So far every app I've found is unable to do anything with the power button. I'm using a rooted Lineage OS 18.1.

Try this
Button Mapper: Remap your keys - Apps on Google Play
Remap hardware buttons to launch any app, shortcut or action
play.google.com

Thanks, but that app doesn't work either. It says it can't modify the power button on the splash screen.
Would you want any other buttons, power button turns off the display so im not sure about NFC activating?

Lol, I know it sounds silly, but hear me out.
When you hold the power button the phone shows you a menu with the Power menu and, most importantly, card payment. As I don't want to keep NFC on all the time to avoid battery drain, I had an idea to turn on NFC every time I opened my Google Pay card payment menu (power button hold).
Ahh then you try finding an Xposed module?
You’ll find more chances of success in that way

Question long power button press for flashlight.

Hey, has anyone noticed you can a double press on the power button turn on the flashlight, but for the long press that option isn't there?
Is there a way around that? maybe a flashlight app that can work as a shortcut? tried a few but still no luck.
also can someone confirm if the android 13 beta has the same problem?
Yeah I just use a flashlight toggle app (Icon Torch - Flashlight), I'm sure any other toggle app would work too.
thank you!
Use Flar2's Button Mapper
