Mod request disable end call screen - Samsung Galaxy S10 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Feature request: disable end call summary.
Back in the days there was an app called On Call End that I used to go directly to home screen after call end.
This app is no longer working and maintained for Q.
Can this be accomplished in another way?
Attached is a screenshot of the call end summary screen that I want to get rid off.
Thanks in advance for any useful hints.

[APP] CurtainCall (Yet another Screen Blocker) Has lots of features

Guess it's time to throw my hat in the ring. I've tried a bunch of screen blockers and for one reason or another wasn't happy with them. CurtainCall was developed for me and a couple friends to use on our phones for work.
CurtainCall is not Open Source software. I am granting a license to XDA users to use CurtainCall. CC requires the .Net Framework version 3.5 and Windows Mobile 6 Pro or greater. It has been tested on my Sprint Touch Pro with the original rom and Sprint's updated ROM. It has also been tested on the AT&T Fuze Original ROM.
Here's a list of features in this beta version:
Battery Meter
Tasks current / overdue
Scratch Caller Picture to answer and ignore incoming calls (Scratch down 50% to answer scratch horizontal 50% to send to voicemail.
Next calendar appointment
Caller Id info with name and number
Caller Picture
Unlock when Keyboard is slide out (Display orientation changes).
Unlock on charge or computer connection
Close phone Dialer when hang up occurs
Shell notifications audible alert works
Unlock when receiving call while syncing
Change screen BackColor when screen or caller picture is pressed while unlocking.
Display 12 hour clock with date
Display Service Location (Home Roam NoSVC, Search)
Display active signal strength
Display current speaker volume setting
Battery Friendly (No Timers to reduce battery life)
Exclude some applications from CC locking the screen (Safe Programs) Don't put in activesync or cc will never lock screen.
Do Not Distrub feature
Initially lock when in call
Configurable options Double Click X to close and hit setup button
Remain unlocked when call recv'd and keyboard is out
Displays status of current data connection eg EVDO 1X EDGDE etc.
Here's some basics on 1) unlocking CurtainCall so you can use your device and 2) Answering or ignoring calls from the CurtainCall Screen. 3) Exit application and Setup Screen
1) Press down on the Clock until the background turns yellow. The clock will change to 45%. Now slide your finger down the screen until the 45% (which is where the clock now used to be) goes to 0% and release the screen. The screen will be unlocked.
2) Same concept as #1. To answer the call press the caller picture on the top portion of the picture until the background turns yellow. Slide your finger to the end of the picture and CC will answer the call. To ignore the call press the left side of the callers picture and slide to the right. The caller will be sent to voicemail.
3) The X in the upper right corner is used to Exit the application, get to the setup screens, and enter a temporary Do Not Distrub mode.
The cab file that is attached will cause CC to start when your system starts and puts an icon under programs.
Let me know what you think and if your having issues. I'll do my best to fix them, but you should know I have a full time position in IT and am a family man. So, there are some limitations on my time.
CurtainCall Update Information
Version 0.7.9
Some graphics fixes and fix for unknown caller for name when it's id'd after the fact.
Version 0.7.10
Add display of Vibrate and Silent modes. Also did testing for Windows Mobile 5 users. Hit some platform limitations. CurtainCall will NOT run on WINMO 5.
Version 0.7.11
Add config option to allow setup of Auto Start with WinMo.
Add indicator to show Do Not Distrub is active. DND is permanently set in setup
Clean up some small issues with adding safe programs
Add a temporary Do Not Distrub button in the same screen as the Exit and Setup Buttons. Additionally allow for a DND profile of Silent and Vibrate. This is set in the setup screen. With DND on the phone will only ring once and then send the caller to voicemail. For me it's much better than meeting mode in WINMO.
Version 0.8.0
Changes to help users without slide out keyboard.
Changes For Touch Pro2 Tested on stock Sprint ROM with WM6.1
i'd be happy to try it out.. but please post some screenshots. thank you
Here is the screenshot

Is it working on i780...?
Please replay if anyone tried.

Is it possible to show on what state the phone is, like muted or vibrating or normal? Maybe put in a small icon at the top. And maybe a functionallity to choose wheter you want to show a big caller picture or a small one.. I prefer a small one Or just make it possible to use the phone's dialer. When you misses a call the photo stays in the screen. I guess it would be better if you just go back to the mainscreen where you can see you missed a call. Now you don't see the other counters (sms, mail).
Can you tell me where the 'do not disturb' function is for?
Further is looks really great
RAHO thanks for trying CC. Muted can be seen by the nuber of )))) after the speaker. If there aren't any it's muted. I don't have anything for Vibrate yet.
As to making the picture smaller, One of the uses of the caller's picture is for answering the call. If you press the picture and swipe down 50% the call will be anwsered, or if you swipe horizontally it will send the caller to voice mail (Ignore). If I make the picture to small it will be easier to miss anwser which is one of the main reasons for curtaincall.
The purpose of do not distrub is to ignore all calls. You will hear one ring and then the call is sent to voice mail. That is set in the setup screen. \
By the way there is no need to close and re-open cc when you make changes.
Hope this helps, and I'm glad your liking it.
RAHO, I forgot to mention something. I left the picture up so I would see my last called. You can clear the picture by swiping it just like you were going to answer the call or for that fact ignore it as described in my last post.
Not working on HTC Universal WM5!
it works ok on an elf (6.5).
Simply brilliant.
Font is aliased on my qvga screen.
Icons are a little bit aliased on qvga.
I don't particularly like the chosen icons but hey... ;-)
Works quite well on my TP2 although it strangely flickers between the scratch to answer and slide to answer screens on a call. Also the last icon on the right is corrupt around the bottom edge.
Looking forward to updates.
Thanks!
Here's a couple of screen shots that shows a bit more of the functionality/
Answering a couple of posts...
First, Most developers suffer in artistic ability. I'm one of those. If you have some cool royalty free art I can use that is appealing I'm up for making some changes there. I started messing around a bit with gimp attempting to change things a few days ago, but my time to do that is pretty limited.
As to the WM 5 issue, CC was developed for WM 6.1 or higher. I'm open to looking at issue though. Exactly what problems are you having? It maybe that the object model is missing some pieces if that's the case I'll be forced to say that it's wm 6.1 or greater. Just let me know what's happening and I'll give it a shot.
I think it's very good for a first release! Just a few bugs so far like I said...
As to the graphics, maybe you could make it skinable for the graphics gurus?
It looks like I've put this in the wrong place. I'm sorry for doing that. I'm just now getting the lay of the land here at XDA.
Could some on move this thread over to Windows Applications and Games.
Thanks in advance.
I've had to uninstall this
It keeps fighting with the stock HTC slide to answer regardless of the settings.
Pity
Problem with caller id
I really like the approach of this app. My problem is that when I receive an incoming call, I get a text popup window with "Answer" and "Dismiss" options which cover the Curtaincall picture ID. Consequently, I cannot swipe the picture to answer or send to voicemail. Any thoughts on this one? I need the picture id to always be topmost on the screen. I am running Ultralite 6.5 ROM with SPB Mobile Shell.
thx in advance

Forgot to mention that I running this on an HTC Diamond Touch
@ IT_Dude: Thanks for your reply! It sure helps
I hope you can build in an vibrate-icon sometimes.
Can you give me abetter discripiton of what's happening. I kknow during the inital development phase I had trouble with during the first ring or two the dialer screen would fight to be on top. I got past that though. Are you running win 6.1 or the new 6.5?
MJ100, I'm not sure what text window you are getting. I know one of my alpha testers had some similar issues because he was trying to use slide to unlock in conjunction with CurtainCall. I had another alpha tester add activesync as a safe program which caused him a lot of grief. Try turning off (Deactivating) all your safe programs. If that's npt it can you send me a screen shot so I know a little more what I'm dealing with.

[Q] Any get Missed Message Flasher to work for SMS?

I have been looking for an app that will remind me when I miss a call or sms. Missed Message Flasher appears to do the trick. However, I cant get it to work with SMS. I think the reason is because on our phones, the screen turns on when an new SMS arrives. Turning on the screen disables Missed Message Flasher. Has anyone got this app to work on the SGS2?
I have used noled from themarket on my captivate and sg2 and it worked very well. I a. Going to check out the message flasher now

I miss BLN from my captivate. But, its not fully functional. It works, but causes battery drain after its activated. The phone can't get into deep sleep mode again, until the alert is cleared. I hope every day I go into the dev section to see some good news about BLN.
Sent from my Galaxy S II (i777)
I use Missed Message Flasher, but I disable the actual flashing of the screen and use it just to give me an audible notification of missed messages every 120 seconds. That way it doesn't mess with my screen being off or cause any unnecessary battery drain.

I cant get it to work with SMS. Can you please let me know what you do? I think because the screen turns on when an SMS comes in, Missed Message Flasher disables itself.
Do you have the box ticked in your Accessibility settings (to allow it to grab messages)?
If so then there really isn't much else to it as long as SMS is checked in the app's settings, and the phone isn't in silent mode...

I think my problem is that I dont use a lockscreen/keyguard so when the screen turns on as an SMS is received, MMF disables itself. I guess I have to re-enable my lockscreen.
Help w/ setup please
I'm just trying ' Missed Message Flasher' after flunking a couple of others, which i've uninstalled.
My problem is with 'Sound' and with GoSMS Pro, my messaging package.
I have 'accessibility' ticked, but the flash package is not activating when a new message comes in. anyone have a clue?
also, I set 'sound' to use the same sound the GoSMS package uses [which is one of the options under MMF]. But when I set that tick, and exit the pane, the "Sound" setting still shows "None". in fact, any option I pick results in the same.
is there a forum dedicated to MMF??
thanks folks

[Q] [Idea for dev] One click template msg to specific recipient

Okay, here's the thing.
Everytime i drive to my girlfriend's house i have to write a message that i have arrived and she can come out but i have to prepare text it while standing in the traffic jam, at the traffic light or while driving (it's uncomfortable and dangerous!).
So i though - what about a shortcut on my home screen or in my "Car Home" app that:
will send a certain template message to a certain recipient just by one click on the shortcut (well maybe can be two clicks that the second will ask for confirmation "YES/NO").
Thanks for ideas and answers.
Maybe a custom shortcut?
But my knowledge in coding is 2/10 so any detailed help or a link to a certain app with details would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Tasker can do this. It can even be set up to automatically send the message for you as you are close by, based on GPS and/or cell tower locations. I remember seeing a profile for it in the tasker wiki.
Thanks for reply. will try that.
So far used AUTO SMS app, that has "Instant SMS" feature and has a widget for it, so from a lock screen it's "3 click away" - awake, press widget, press send

[Q] Modifying call screen?

i always find what i look for in xda, so i didnt even had to ask yet, but not this time. i searched xda as well as the web and didnt find anything similar.
prelude: i have a very good data plan so i always call back my friends, but now it makes me crazy. i had to:
1) hang up (decline) their call
2) unlock the screen
3) pull down notification and go to missed call -OR- go to call logs
4) then hit call for my friend.
i taught it would be a lot more convenient if there would be a 3rd (or 4th) option when u get an incoming call:
u can reject it,
answer it,
answer by sms AND
u can decline & call back. (in one motion)
well i found an app called redhot callback which is a shortcut u can put on your home screen. when u open it, it checks the call log and dials the last incoming call automatically. but it still takes 3 steps to call back: decline the incoming call, unlock screen, open the "app". basically thats what i want to do but from the incoming call screen, and combine it with a decline, so it declines the call and calls it back in one click.
i searched xda as well as the web and didnt find anything similar. my question: does a mod exists for that , (expanding the incoming call screens functionality with a decline&callback), or is it even possible to make a mod like this?
there are apps (for ex Full Screen Caller ID) that can modify the incoming call screen so i taught it cant be that difficult.
(i attached a pic of what am i talking about, its pretty bad but u get the idea
Ya there is an app called full screen caler on play store
.
DONT JUST SAY THANKS CLICK IT
i know, i tried "full screen caller id pro" and "full screen caller x pro" but they only change the theme of the caller screen. they also have some useful stuff like sync photos with fb, but u cant add or edit the caller screen's functionality. when i have an incoming call i can reject/answer/answer with sms. i want to add another option to the caller screen, which rejects the call and call it back immediately.
i found a solution for fast reject & callback. its an app called "Reject & Callback" (who would have taught) its a very basic app, it just checks your call log and makes a call for last incoming by shaking the phone. whats nice is that u can set the shake threshold. so when u have an incoming call u only have to decline it then shake the phone. i guess it was lot easier than modifying the call screen.
Anyway, my original question was is there any mod to modify the original call screen, or is it even possible? im still curious would be pretty cool if u could add more function on the call screen (call screen replacement apps are not perfect, the original call screen still shows up and its not pretty)

Call Issues since KitKat upgrade

Before the KitKat update, there was a feature that was simple but very effective and I absolutely miss it. Let's say you were in any application and someone called you, you would receive a call pop up from the bottom of the screen with three options (to accept call, deny call, I do not recall the last one) and when you decide to accept the call the popup would disappear and now your status bar would be green (to let you know that you are in the call) and you were able to keep doing what you were doing before the call (like multitasking the call and whatever you were doing). Since upgrading to KitKat, the popup shows up as normal but when I accept the call I am forced into the call screen. I've checked throughout my settings to see if it's an option to get it back but nothing . I am wondering if anyone knows a fix to this.

If I have to multitask, I just press home and it gets out of the call screen. I have that issue with my S-view flip cover when in a call it always goes to the call instead of what I was doing before. If you just press the home key, it should get you out of the call screen. It's something I always had to do even with JellyBean.
