Hi, would it be possible to convert a Galaxy S8 Japanese version (SC-02J) to a Canadian version G950W or a US unlock G950U1?
I know the question sounds crazy but the Japanese model has the Snapdragon chipset and the same other specs as the other Snapdragon versions... The reason I want to do this is to have french language on this freakin device I've been trying with Combination Firmware but Odin keeps blocking my attemps...
Any idea?

Do you want to unlock your SC-02J? You can try samkey to do it. Good luck!

Hi everybody, i have an AT&T HTC One X plus, and i like to change the software to the european one to get the last update and the frensh language because AT&T give only English and Spanish Languages, Can i do this by modifying the PID of the Phone or anything else, else i like to know if there is a hardware difference between the to version AT&T and Europe.

The International and AT&T version use different hardware(Radio) so it is not possible to convert ur AT&T to International version.....
Since both will use different Kernels its not possible at all.......

I've been reading up on firmware options on here but can't figure out a straight answer. I have the hong kong version of the s9 plus 256gb with the snapdragon chip. My question is can you use odin to flash USA firmware to it? Without getting a hard brick.
Like the fully unlocked firmware for us models that isn't tied to carriers. Thanks.

Based on what I've reviewed this look to be the best option to do so once you confirm the firmware is compatible.

Nope it wont be possible cause u did not ask for bootloader unlock code and now u cant get bootloader unlock code anymore.
I m using this device in germany and I have 4G without problem. Also system language german, english, french are available.

So what is the difference between the Chinese and European firmware?
Firmware are different:
On Chinese you have Hiboard, Europe has Google News when swiping right from home screen...
Actually u will get updates faster with chinese version...i dont see other differences.
I m using this phone with Lawnchair Launcher oder Blinkfeed Launcher so for me is no problem. Also i got 6Gb Ram version and Europe Version has only 4Gb Ram.

I am slightly confused as the one I am buying is a 128GB 4GB model. I thought this is a European version?
I thought all Chinese versions are 6GB. Can you actually get a 128GB 4GB China model?

All G965U and U1 models have locked bootloaders. There is no way to enable OEM Unlock.
You can't use G965F files on it since the hardware is completely different.
Always check for VoLTE compatibility before buying. The G965U/U1 is intended for US markets only.
Hello, I'm newbie and I just want to ask if I can flash another Firmware on my device, I'm currently on PH where s21 being sold here is SM-G991B (CSC: XTC). I want to remove the bloatwares and some samsung apps are still on Korean Language. I'm using an SM-G991N Model with LUC CSC. If possibly, I want to change it to XTC CSC, I already tried using Samkey but it failed. Should I flash the whole firmware SM-G991B on my device? It's same processor as my Korean Variant phone which is Exynos.

It there any other way? coz Korean variant updates takes so long. OTA/Smart Switch I still don't receive the latest security updates.
Not as far as I know... Unless you want to use a custom ROM.
