Any news about upcoming note8 android 10 custom roms or working project treble - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hello, i'm a new user and utterly greatful to the work developers put to allow us to explore new features as well as many other things. That being said i'm currently using LineageOs 17.1 which is pretty awesome and stable apart from it contains some bug (CDLA doesn't work, Livedisplay etc.). Sadly Note8 also doesn't support project treble as far as i know. So, i was wondering is there any news about when the havocOS 3.x or project pixel etc android 10 custom roms will come or is there any viable way to enable project treble in Not8 without bricking it. Thanks in advanced.

Sad to see that thread here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/development/test-lineageos-13-0-sm-g925f-t3534200
just dont get support from S6 Edge users, really shamed, even Galaxy Mini got so many support for their devices
Please support the thread and test the ROM to make it better , support our developers for doing this kind of job to fullfilled our dream. Come on
Doesnt mean we have the high end devices we cannot develop something,
if we cannot developing

Oreo update automatically implies project treble enabled or not?

Since kenzo already has AOSP & NOS oreo build available, i just wanted to know if the builds are project treble enabled or not. If not, why not?
no it wont have treble. OEM and qualcomnn must provide drivers etc from a very low level so that it works well. kenzo only had marshmellow, so definetely no. if the device came with android O then it will have.
It's a lot of work which cannot be done by a single person or a team. Even Google has to team up with the silicon vendors and oem to try bring it to current flagships. Lineage Gerrit has some treble related commits, who knows, anything can happen. But it's mostly unlikely.

Any Android Go ROMs available for i9100?

Are there any Android Go ROMs available / underdevelopment for i9100? My phone has gone extremely slow and I think only something like Android Go could revive the old work horse.
Thanks for your time.
The unofficial LineageOS 15.1 builds by rINanDO (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development-derivatives/rom-lineageos-15-0-t3674567) are the first such ROMs currently, although, as of right now, it is in WIP phase, and although it is stable enough not to crash every few moments, a lot of things may be broken or not work at all.
I was wondering too. Thank you for the answer. I hope in 6months the bugs will be removed.

Are you sure those rINanDO's builds are based on Android Go and not full grown Android 8.1 ?

By nature, all Android Go builds are based on full grown Android 8.1, as they are built the same way, from the same source code, but the Android Go builds have an additional build flag attached at the very end.
So yes, they are based on Android Go, which in turn is based on Android 8.1.
and the flag is set !

Stable Pixel experience ROM for poco x3

I request the pixel experience dev teams to do a stable ROM for poco x3 based on Android 11. It would be great to have a stable clean ROM. We all know how it feels to use MIUI. It's a humble request guys. Back me up who agree with me so that the responsible dev team could get the attention and work on it. Thanks for having me guys.
No sources from xiaomi- no stable customs.
The kernel that is used now is an absolute black box from MIUI around which any system is assembled.
There can be no question of any opportunity to do better without source code.
And when the community has the source code, nobody's requests are required, we will do it for ourselves.
You can leave your inquiries to the manufacturer here.

Question Recommendation for Spoofable A12 based ROM

TLDR; Can anyone recommend an Android 12 based ROM that supports MicroG?
One of the main reasons I use Android is that I can avoid using Gapps if I want, and pretty much eliminate Google services from Android. But, I'm not seeing any 12 based ROMs that support signature spoofing at this time.
I'm moving from a SGS10+ to the SX1iii and finding it difficult to find any ROMS that can do this. Since Samsung gave up on SD cards and the headphone jack, I've decided to stop using their devices. But, the move does have some speed bumps.
I've found LOS for MicroG and crDroid to be some of the best for Samsung, but I don't have too much experience in the Sony realm. Thanks for any input.
