Immersive mode in wide view with keyboard - LG G8X ThinQ Questions & Answers

I'm using the wide view app to use the phone as a mini laptop. The problem is that I can't get the navigation bar to go away. It hangs out at the side of the screen (which I guess it thinks is the bottom) and takes away space from the keyboard. I can get rid of the navigation bar using Fluid Navigation Gestures and ADB, but as soon as I activate wide view, it reappears. Is there a solution for this?

feature request: system wide gesture control

Love paranoid and the direction you are taking.
A feature that I belive many users would benefit from is gesture control when in immersive mode.
For example I am browsing on chrome in immersive mode and I want to access the quick setting tiles in order to change my connection from 3g to wifi. I pull my finger down from the top of the screen to show the notification bar and then repeat to open the quick settings shade. But what's this oh no I have closed the page I was browsing. (This can happen)
My solution to this is a gesture from the side of the screen dragging my finger in a downward arch with a flick at the end to bring down the shade.
Please bring this feature it will really assist with the usability of immersive mode.

App or setting that can disable Notification shade(not notifications) in games.

I want to disable the notification shade entirely as its very irritating mid game. sometimes even pulls down the whole notification area since I use claw many buttons near the top of screen.
google only give solutions to disable notifications not the bar itself.
im currently unrooted and on stock rom don't mind unlocking and flashing if necessary.
I use full screen mode with gestures not buttons like shown in screenshot, enabled for getting using screenshot shortcut only (by long press back button)

Hide Googe Gesture Hint Bar?

In Android 10 on the Pixel XL 4, with gesture navigation turned on, there is a thin white hint bar that appears at the bottom center of the screen, presumably to remind users that they can / should swipe up. However, if using the Gboard keyboard in flloating mode (vs. having it docked at the bottom), this causes a very wide black band to appear at the bottom of the screen, which can obscure app functionality. See an example of the text area getting partially hidden in Android's own Messages app, which is attached to this post. Is there anyway to turn off the white bar or prevent the wide black band with native Google gestures turned on?
My workaround has been to use Fluid Natural Gestures (FNG),which doesn't present the problem. If it weren't for this, I'd be fine using the native gestures.
Thanks in advance.

Navigation Bar after upgrade to One UI 2.1

Hi - my tablet upgraded yesterday to One UI 2.1. I use my tablet to play games frequently and the now the navigation bar is activated differently while doing so. Before the update I had full screen gestures enabled so that when I was playing games I could just single swipe the bottom area of the screen to perform navigation functions. There were no hints or symbols. After the update with the same settings... when i swipe the same area the first swipe brings up a small navigation bar (as well as notification bar at top) and then I have to swipe again for the navigation result. It's like the have the navigation bar on auto hide like a Windows task bar.
I was really used to the single swipe gesture in these games so am looking for a way to get back to that if possible. It appears that in the android interface and other apps it works as it used to. It is only in games that it now acts different. I checked my "game booster" settings and couldn't see anything different.
Thanks in advance!

[Android 13][Bug] Navigation gesture stopped working suddenly

I'm still investigating why and when it's happening: After using the Wing for some time (regular use, nothing special) the navigation gestures stop working and the navigation bar (hidden) is unacceptable. Only solution so far is to rather a) to restart your phone or b) go to settings and turn the "classic" navigation bar on and off. You can see the navigation bar indicator flashing at the beginning while I'm trying to do the"swiping up" gesture on the screen. But no multitasking screen is shown.
