[Pace/Stratos] Coloured icons for white background - Amazfit

I colored the icons and changed the fonts for the wachface model_4 widgets - the black ones for the white background. Original for me were ugly
Required access to root to switch assets in the system of the System/app/HuamiWatchFaces/HuamiWatchFaces.apk to change the assets of the model4
All Watchface using model4 will display new colorful icons.
Example watchface https://amazfitwatchfaces.com/pace/view/6123
and my https://amazfitwatchfaces.com/pace/view/5867
To install:
Required access to root to switch assets in the system of the System/app/HuamiWatchFaces/HuamiWatchFaces.apk to change the assets of the model
Connect your watch to the computer. Use ADB or ADBCommander commands. Download to your drive HuamiWatchFaces.apk.
apk is a zip. You change the content of model_4 to my icons and back to the watch.
Or
just replace the apk from the attachment for Pace/Stratos(2 & 3). Tested on Pace with PACEficator.
If you have Startos 3 with the latest PACEficator use this:

No, you won't install anything here. You only replace files. You download the HuamiWatchFaces.apk from the watch, replace the contents of model4 in it and copy it back to the watch.
apk is a regular zip archive.

Sorry, i don't understand where i must copy the contents of model4 on the stratos3 !
my watchface is in .wfz not in .apk
I've installed your watchface : sdc2-82440-4f08e7fd04.wfz without coloured icons
how can i replace with the coloured one (with explication) ?
thanks for your answer

Install Android Commander on your computer. I will connect the watch with a cable. Go to System/app/HuamiWatchFaces / and copy to HuamiWatchFaces.apk do your harddrive.
HuamiWatchFaces.apk is a zip archive. In this archive, replace the graphics in Assetts with those from the first post.
Copy the modified apk file back to your watch. And it's ready.

[TUT] Xperia Z Lockscreen - change unlock screen tips/unlock times before remove tips

Hi everyone, I'm here to teach you guys on how to change the text "Swipe up or down to unlock" on Xperia Z lock screen. Since I saw some request on it.
Preparation:
*Framework Toolkit by Themike10452 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36085941 (at B section, only the toolkit) (from now on will call toolkit)
*Notepad++ http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ (under download tab)
*Java Development Kit http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html (choose the one compatible with your os) (install it before you open toolkit)
*Latest apktool (both apktool and and it's dependencies) http://code.google.com/p/android-apktool/downloads/list (use dependencies for windows if you are on windows)
*7zip File Manager http://www.7-zip.org/
{ above all software are essentials for one to mod any apk files and frameworks. }
*UxpNxtLockScreen.apk (extract from ROM either from phone memory using root file explorer or from flashable ROM zip (at system/app)
*A thinking Brain
**Framework Toolkit by Themike10452 http://d-h.st/Pkb (this is the version that I'm using to mod apk and framework (it mean it is working, for me), use it if your toolkit is not working, only for windows os only) (I have no idea am I allowed to share this tool or not, since i didn't get permission from Themike10452 yet, request sent but no reply at all at the moment, I will put this down if Themike10452 request so)

Instructions/Guide:
§ 1st, extract Framework Toolkit by Themike10452 and put it aside on any where of your comp (preferable desktop).
§ 2nd, extract apktool files with 7 zip. Yes, open the bz2 files you had download just now, you will see a tar file within, open it again, then you will see a folder, for apktool, you will see a file jar file ; for dependencies, you will see 2 files exe and bat each, copy them and replace the same file in toolkit folder (inside the "other" folder", just override the old files).
§ place UxpNxtLockScreen.apk in "place-apk-here-for-modding" within toolkit folder.
§ run "Apk-Multi-Tool.bat" as admin. Press any keys to continue after the "Multi Tool Screen" appear. It will lead you to a screen with multiple options shown with numbers in front of them.
§ check: at top right corner, "Current-App" should follow with "UxpNxtLockScreen.apk"(if no, please recheck whether if the file you put is in correct place or not and you shouldn't have more than 1 apk in that folder to start modding or theming), then press "9" and enter to decompile apk. Once it's done, minimize the toolkit, you will use it later, now go to root folder of toolkit, within projects folder you will see a folder named "UxpNxtLockScreen.apk".
(from 1st instruction until here is the general decompiling apk process, it should works on all apks unless the apk have extraordinary resources that can't be decoded by apktool by other toolkit, maybe? and the following instructions will be called "modding" *yes, you are now starting to mod a/an apk file now )
§ navigate to /projects/UxpNxtLockScreen.apk/res/values/ and you will see 11 xml files. Open strings.xml with Notepad++.
§ find the line with this name "lockscreen_unlock_hint", use Ctrl + F if you can't find them.
eg:<string name="lockscreen_unlock_hint">Swipe up or down to unlock</string>
§ change the sentence after " > " and before " </string> " with the sentence you desire and save the file (Ctrl + S)
§ Back to Apk Multi Tool, press " 21 " > enter > " 0 " > enter. ( This is to set compression level to 0. I'm not sure if it works with Compression level at 9) then " 11 " and enter to recompile the apk. A while later. screen will pause and show a message end with < y / n >:
2 options here:
# To be safe, press " y " and enter then wait for it to extract source from original apk, navigate to keep folder, delete a file named "resources.arsc" and back to apk multi tool and press any buttons to continues. (this is to keep the original sources at new modified apk to reduce error and maintain its compatibilities to the ROM.)
# Another is " n ", just press n and enter, and done. (i wont give 100% working in this way, do it on your own risk)
§ You will then get a file named "System_UxpNxtLockScreen.apk", move or copy it into your SD, rename to "UxpNxtLockScreen.apk", and replace it with correct permission ( R W - R - - R - - ).
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
# To change the number of times unlock to remove the unlock tips (unlock untill a certain times to remove the unlock tips), navigate to /projects/UxpNxtLockScreen.apk/res/values/ and open intergers.xml with note++, and find the following lines "unlocks_before_hint_removal"
eg: <integer name="unlocks_before_hint_removal">100</integer>
change the number value to number of times you desire and save the file, then recompile the apk.

You may use the apktool provided by stanlin salu from his tutorial of decompile/recompile apk. About decompile and recompile apk, follow his tutorial, just edit those files according to my instructions/guide. This thread is actually only providing the information about which file and which line to be edited to change the unlock tips and unlock times before remove tips.
{stanlin salu's apk decompile and recompile tutorial and apktool download------------> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011337
CAUTION!
§ Please check both of your apk file by opening them with 7 zip file manager, compare both apk for their content(should be total of 3 files and 2 folders), all the files and folders within should have the same size except "resource.arsc" *unless you modified some other pictures, then check the number of files contained in the folder, the number of files must be the same. If "META-INF" is different, please copy the folder from original apk to modded apk and override them. None of those files (classes.dex, AndroidManifest.xml, META-INF...) can be 0kb (I think only odexed framework will get 0kb, deodexed framework will not get 0kb)
§ If you replaced any picture in drawable folders, please make sure that the picture have same file name with the original picture. And during recompile process, please delete the same picture file of the same name that you modified at keep folder if you choose < y > at the pause.
Miscellaneous:
§ If you seriously having problem to recompile or modding, you may upload UxpNxtLockScreen.apk or yours to me for modding and I will upload to you once I get it done.
§ Please give me some time to mod for you since I'm just a Pre-University Student who studied 12 hours a day and also spending my time with my family and friends as well. I'm doing all these as a part of my interest and my own free will. :angel:

did you install the Java and restart your comp? the apktool require Java Development Environment(JDE) to run it. JDE download is on 1st post. and you must choose the correct version, for instance like me, i'm using windows 7 ultimate x64, so i installed windows x64 bits version. since you said u tried different version of apktool and its not working, you must have either java problem, or you did not running it as administrator.

jordiluna, you try it see if it works or not. and, after recompile, please recompare the modded apk and original apk, the 3 files must have same file size, choose < y > during recompile, just delete the resources.arsc only. leave other untouched files and pictures there to be rewrite to the new modded apk.

icons are not images/ pngs .
that was in android 5 and 5.1 . but now they are xml files.
example:
the location icon
Code:
there it creates the icon via
Code:
pathData="M24.0,4.0c-7.7,0.0 -14.0,6.3 -14.0,14.0c0.0,10.5 14.0,26.0 14.0,26.0s14.0,-15.5 14.0,-26.0C38.0,10.3 31.7,4.0 24.0,4.0zM24.0,23.0c-2.8,0.0 -5.0,-2.2 -5.0,-5.0s2.2,-5.0 5.0,-5.0c2.8,0.0 5.0,2.2 5.0,5.0S26.8,23.0 24.0,23.0z"
and set the height and width with the upper vector one.. ( vector android:height="17.0dip" android:width="17.0dip)
you can change the hex color #ffffff to what you want
i will test and tell you what you can do to change it into pngs images. (this will take a bit because of real life and work etc.. a bit busy)

Vector files are not stored but generated. You could try putting the custom png files you want in your applicable drawable folder (drawable-xxxhdpi-v4 for example) named exactly like the xml you are replacing (except it will end in . png obviously). Sometimes android looks first for png before it moves to the vector (drawable) folder.
WiFi is usually ic_qs_wifi_0.xml and ic_qs_wifi_full_0.xml from 0 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Bluetooth is ic_bluetooth_off.xml and one for on.
Airplane might be ic_signal_airplane_enable.xml and disable

I highly recommend tma always. If you just want to change the colors, yes use notepad ++ on the vector xml's themselves by changing the fill colors. If you have some png files in mind, try just renaming them, if necessary, to the same names as the vectors like I mentioned above and drop them in one of your drawable folders, xhdpi, xxhdpi and see if it works.
Edit: Unzip and see if these are named like yours. Drop them in a drawable folder. Recompile, put on your phone and see if they show up. They won't fit right but you'll know whether or not you can use pngs. Always make a backup first.

So, The files in the zip you gave me does not exist in png but in xml in systemUI.apk
My xml files have the same name as the png that you gave me.
As the png files does not exist in my systemUI.apk I take those you gave me and I put them in:
- systemUI / res / drawable-xxhdpi-v4
or
- drawable-xhdpi-v4 ?
Thank you for all this informations.
EDIT : For the size of the PNG in pixel, what dimension should it use ?

It doesn't matter where you add them.. I would place them into xxhdpi.
The dimensions of the icons is also not that important. In XML file it's 48dpi. If your icons are xhdpi it should be fine

ic_signal_airplane_disable, is this how your xml file is named? You didn't put "Airplane might be" in the name, did you?
Before decompiling, did you install your framework(s)?
Apktool 2.2.2 is the latest. You should update your TickleMyAndroid

You must be rooted.
So far as I'm aware, the Google Sans font is new for the 8.1.0 preview, or at least it being used for the colon in the lockscreen is new.
Due to this, the old lockscreen-clock font fix didn't work.
So, I've made my own flashable font zips with the fix applied.

What are probably going to be frequently asked questions:
Q: Will this work on 8.0, 7.1.1, or 7.1.2?
A: So far as I can tell, the GoogleSans font is new for 8.1.0, so the zip will probably work, but the lockscreen clock will probably have the square issue. I would have a full backup of all your stock font files before you try it, if I were you.
Q: Will this work on my device (that's not a Pixel 2 or 2 XL)
A: So far as I can tell, the GoogleSans font is new for 8.1.0, so the zip will probably work, but the lockscreen clock will probably have the square issue. I would have a full backup of all your stock font files before you try it, if I were you.
Q: Do I take request? Can you please make xxxx font work?
A: Yes, but you will need to do some work as well, and you will have to be patient. I will work on them as time allows.
Here's what I will need from you:
The font files you want zipped up and posted in this thread. (I'm not going to go searching)
The font files you upload MUST have at least the follow types of files/weights, otherwise I WILL NOT BOTHER WITH IT:
Bold
Bold Italic
Regular or Medium
Regular Italic or Medium Italic (not absolutely necessary, but preferred)
If you want your font to really look good everywhere, then you should look for fonts that come with the following weights as well:
Thin or Light
Thin Italic or Light Italic
Condensed-regular or condensed-medium. The more condensed versions the better (eg - condensed-bold, condensed-italic, condensed-light, etc.)
Custom ROM and Android P Font Fixes
-Custom ROMs for the Pixel 2/XL apparently don't use the GoogleSans-Regular font for the lock screen clock; hence, the fix that has been applied to all of these fonts does not work on custom ROMs.
-As far as Android P, Google decided to use some of their GoogleSans-xxxx files in places that they didn't in Oreo. Because they weren't used in previous versions Android (at least as far as anyone was able to tell), they were never thought of as needing to be replaced in custom font zips, and so there are a few spots in Android P where the custom font does not get set properly.
Don't worry, though. I've got you covered.
- If the zip you're going to flash says something along the lines of "FixedForStockAndCustomROMS," then it's already been fixed and it will work on a custom ROM.
- If the title of the zip you're going to flash says anything about "Android P" in it, then it's already been fixed and should work without any issues on Android P.
Otherwise if the zip title makes no mention of custom ROMs or Android P, you'll need to use this fix.
AFTER you flash one of these font zips, flash the Pixel2XL_FontFixFor-CustomROMs+Android-P zip from this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75605109&postcount=373.
That will fix your lock-screen clock issue when on custom ROMs or Android P.
So far, it's been verified as working on Nitrogen, Dirty Unicorn, Resurrection Remix and Android P. If you've tried it successfully on other ROMs, please let us know.
Available fonts so far:
*All fonts have fully functioning lockscreen fonts, meaning there is no need to apply a fix because I've already done that.

How to Make Your Own Flashable Font Zips
Picking the Right Font
Notice the image below.
The screenshots are of the following:
Quick Settings
XDA Labs
The Project Fi App
My app drawer
In just these four snippets we have six different font weights. A font weight typically refers to the thickness or thinness of a font, as well as styles like italic.
In the first post, I mentioned that I will only put together files with a certain amount of font-weight files. This is because, as you can see from the image, they are necessary.
Now, you could Google your favorite font, and find it in only one weight -- regular. Then you could apply that regular weight font to the twenty different types of font files that are found natively in /system/fonts so that all of your font files are now replaced by that one font weight file you found.
What you'll have then is a mess, in my opinion. Apps layouts are designed with certain font weights in mind. Aside from that, they are also used to draw the users attention to certain things. Important things are usually bold. Headers are usually bold. Italics can emphasize a point in a different way. Some things, like the app drawer, for example, used a condensed font so that as many letters as possible can be used in the relatively small space allotted for icon text. As you can see in my image, even though I've used an Ubuntu condensed font for the app drawer, there still isn't enough room. Imagine if I used a non-condensed font. I might only get half of what I'm getting now.
My point is this: You should really try to find a font that has as many weights as possible.
Below is a list of all the native fonts in /system/fonts:
Roboto-Black.ttf
Roboto-BlackItalic.ttf
Roboto-Bold.ttf
Roboto-BoldItalic.ttf
Roboto-Italic.ttf
Roboto-Light.ttf
Roboto-LightItalic.ttf
Roboto-Medium.ttf
Roboto-MediumItalic.ttf
Roboto-Regular.ttf
Roboto-Thin.ttf
Roboto-ThinItalic.ttf
RobotoCondensed-Bold.ttf
RobotoCondensed-BoldItalic.ttf
RobotoCondensed-Italic.ttf
RobotoCondensed-Light.ttf
RobotoCondensed-LightItalic.ttf
RobotoCondensed-Medium.ttf
RobotoCondensed-MediumItalic.ttf
RobotoCondensed-Regular.ttf
Well, that's not entirely accurate. Those files listed are the important ones. Replacing those files will, for the most part, replace everything that you'll see.
Notice that there are twenty different font weights available for the Roboto font. This is the ideal situation.
I'll go ahead and say that you're not likely to find a font that you really like that comes with even half that many weights.
Hence, in the first post I said to have at least these weights in any fonts that you want me to make: bold, bold italic, regular or medium, regular italic or medium italic. In my opinion, those weights should be the absolute least amount that you settle for. And, I'll say it again, even finding a font with just that many weights is difficult.
So, let's say you've found a font that has at least the weights that I recommend. Continue on to the next section.
Replacing the Stock Font Files with Your Own
For our example, we'll use the SonySketch font that someone requested I make.
Below are the font files that were the zip I was given:
SonySketch-Bold
SonySketch-BoldItalic
SonySketch-Italic
SonySketch-Regular
Now technically, that's a little short of what I asked for; however, "Italic" can be taken to simply mean regular italic or medium italic, so it works.
Next, we have to figure out how to turn those four font files into the twenty stock files.
Basically, we'll just copy the SonySketch files, then rename the copies to match stock fonts.
So, lets start with the bold.
I know from double clicking the font files on my PC and then viewing the font that, the "Black" font/weight is a bold or bold-ish weight. So, we'll use the SonySketch-Bold for the Roboto-Black file, Roboto-Bold, and RobotoCondensed-Bold.
I'll copy the SonySketch file and rename that copy to Roboto-Black. Now we have a Roboto-Black file that is actually the SonySketch-Bold font.
I'll repeat that step two more times for the other Roboto bold font weight files.
I'll use the SonySketch-BoldItalic for Roboto-BlackItalic, Roboto-BoldItalic, and RobotoCondensed-BoldItalic (since the SonySketch didn't come with a condensed weight).
In the end, this is what we did:
SonySketch-Bold --> Roboto-Black
SonySketch-Bold --> Roboto-Bold
SonySketch-Bold --> RobotoCondensed-Bold
SonySketch-BoldItalic --> Roboto-BlackItalic
SonySketch-BoldItalic --> Roboto-BoldItalic
SonySketch-BoldItalic --> RobotoCondensed-BoldItalic
Now, let's look at the SonySketchRegular.
Since SonySketch didn't come with thin, light, or medium weights, we'll have to use regular for those weights as well.
Following the same copying and renaming scheme from above, we'll do this with the SonySketch-Regular file:
SonySketch-Regular --> RobotoCondensed-Light
SonySketch-Regular --> RobotoCondensed-Medium
SonySketch-Regular --> RobotoCondensed-Regular
SonySketch-Regular --> Roboto-Light
SonySketch-Regular --> Roboto-Medium
SonySketch-Regular --> Roboto-Regular
SonySketch-Regular --> Roboto-Thin
We're almost there.
We have one more SonySketch file to deal with -- SonySketch-Italic.
Again, since we dont have thin-italic, light-italic, or medium-italic weights, we'll have to use the one SonySketch-Italic file for all of those.
Following the same copying and renaming scheme from above, we'll do this with the SonySketch-Italic file:
SonySketch-Italic --> RobotoCondensed-Italic
SonySketch-Italic --> RobotoCondensed-LightItalic
SonySketch-Italic --> RobotoCondensed-MediumItalic
SonySketch-Italic --> Roboto-Italic
SonySketch-Italic --> Roboto-LightItalic
SonySketch-Italic --> Roboto-MediumItalic
SonySketch-Italic --> Roboto-ThinItalic
That's it! We're done copying and renaming files. Now you should have all twenty stock font files replaced with your own font files.
The last things we need to do is to do the same thing with the GoogleSans-Regular.ttf file. This file is new to Android 8.0, I believe, and it is the file responsible for the clock font.
Since it's a regular font file, just make yet another copy of the SonySketch-Regular file and rename it to GoogleSans-Regular.
We're mostly done. All that's left is that we've got to fix the GoogleSans-Regular file you just made so that you don't get the square character instead of the colon in your lockscreen font.
Keep reading to learn how to do that.
Fixing the Lockscreen Clock Square Issue
Many thanks to @AndroPlus for telling me where to look to fix this file.
Tools Required:
FontForge - https://fontforge.github.io/en-US/ (it's free)
1. Run the FontForge application as administrator (this will allow you to save it to your C: drive, if you want to)
2. You only have a limited number of places to choose when you choose to open a file:
C:/
Anywhere in your user folder
The "Documents" folder
Anywhere in the "Users" folder
I work from a secondary drive called F:/Data that FontForge can't get to for some reason. So, I had to move the file I was working with to one of those locations. Just keep that in mind.
3. Find your font file, leave everything as is and click "OK" to open your font file.
4. Once the file is open, you'll notice a bunch of squares. Some will have letters, numbers, characters, or symbols in them, and some will be empty.
Each one of those squares is called a glyph.
5. Find the glyph with the colon in it. It will usually be near the top mixed in with other symbols like the coma, exclamation point, etc.
6. Once you find the colon glyph, double click on it to open it up in a separate window.
7. Next we need to find the uniEE01 glyph.
This is the glyph that the lockscreen clock font looks to to grab the colon. It's a Google specialized character. Hence, most other fonts won't have it, which is why we get the "character not found" square instead of a colon.8. The uniEE01 glyph is usually located nearly at the bottom of the file, although I've seen some files where it's in the middle of the file. Be patient and take your time scrolling.
A word of advice... Keep the FontForge window as small as possible. The more glyphs you can see the slower the window will respond. If you have the FontForge window maximized to the size of your monitor so that you can see a hundred or so glyphs at once, it will be a pain staking effort to scroll to the bottom of the window.9. Once you've found the glyph labed EE01, double click on it to open it up.
10. In your secondary window, you should now have two tabs. One will be labeled as "Colon," and the other will be labeled as uniEE01.
11. In the secondary window, ensure that the colon tab is in the foreground.
12. With the colon tab in the foreground, go to Edit from the top taskbar, then choose "Copy" from the menu.
13. Then switch to the uniEE01 tab, ensuring that the uniEE01 tab is now in the foreground.
14. With the uniEE01 tab in the foreground, go to Edit from the top taskbar, then choose "Paste."
15. Ensure that the uniEE01 tab now shows a colon.
16. Close the secondary window. There is no need to save anything form that secondary window. We will save the main file in a minute.
17. Back in the main window, ensure that the EE01 glyph now contains a colon.
18. Assuming that the ee01 glyph now contains a colon, it's time to save the file.
19. Go to File in the top taskbar.
20. From the File menu, choose "Generate Fonts..."
21. In the "Generate Fonts" dialog box:
Ensure that NO checkboxes are checked. They are not necessary for our purposes.
Ensure that the file type is set to TrueType
Choose where you want to save the file to
Set the name of the file
22. Click the "Generate" button.
23. You may receive a message that says:
24. Ignore this message, by just clicking "Yes."
25. If you had already renamed your font file to GoogleSans-Regular before you opened it, and you're naming your edited file the same thing, you will of course get a prompt telling you that the file already exists, and asking you if you want to replace it.
26. Assuming that you do want to replace the file with your newly edited file, click "Replace."
27. You're finished! You have successfully patched or fixed your font file so that you won't get the lockscreen clock square instead of a colon.
28. Add your newly edited GoogleSans-Regular file to wherever you have all of your other "custom" font files.
Putting it all Together to Make Your Flashable Zip
For the sake of keeping things easy, and because I'm tired of typing at this point, I've attached a flashable font template zip to this post.
Using this template, here's how you put together your flashable zip:
1. Unzip the template zip.
2. Place all of your now customized Roboto font files inside the /system/fonts folder.
3. Place your "fixed" GoogleSans-Regular.ttf file inside the /system/fonts folder.
4. Ensure you have 21 font files inside your /system/fonts folder (20 Roboto files and 1 GoogleSans-Regular file):
4. If you want to, edit the updater-script file to include your name and anything else you want people to see when they flash your zip. You are going to share it aren't you!? The updater-script can be found in /META-INF/com/google/android.
5. Select both the META-INF and system folders and make them a compressed zip folder:
6. Name your zip whatever you like, but be sure to include the font name in the title so other people know what it is.
7. Place the zip on your phone, boot into TWRP, and flash away!
8. You've done it! CONGRATULATIONS!
More flashable zips...

I'll fix the file you sent me this evening when I get home from work. If you also want me to compose a zip for you, post all the walkway font files here.
Yes, you can flash the fonts it if you just fastboot boot TWRP and don't have it flashed permanently. However, did you know that beta-2 of TWRP was released? That's the first version that actually works on my phone. If you haven't already, you might want to give that a try for a permanent TWRP.

Yeah i saw that.maybe ill flash it this evening.
But first step is to flash stock boot image right.
The boot to twrp.flash custom kernel twrp.zip and magisk after i guess
All needed files for the font should be in the zip
I used it on my 6p without issues

I read somewhere that if you're already rooted and you're going to reflash TWRP, then you need to flash stock boot.img first. However, when I updated to the beta 2 version, I was already rooted and I did not flash the stock boot.img first, and everything went fine. Then I just rerooted using the latest magisk zip and it all went fine.

- In the attached zip is the GoogleSans-Regular.ttf file to add to your zip.
- You also need to make an adjustment to the updater-script your flashable zip because it doesn't work on the Pixel 2 like it is currently. Actually, this might have changed since the Pixel OG. I say this because I tried to flash yours like it was and the font didn't get installed. After making the change below, it worked.
The package extract line:
Code:
package_extract_dir("system", "/system");
Needs to be change to:
Code:
package_extract_dir("system", "/system/system");
Add another level of /system to that line.
I was going to post the zip, but since you put the package together, you should post it to share it, if you want. I will mention that font in the first post and link to your post with the zip attached. If you post it, also include a screenshot or two so that others can tell what it looks like before they download it.

Thanks for adding these fonts awesome work. Would it be too much trouble to add this bella font. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wqS2xAXY76CEPODpD5N8wniRVvAcwuUt/view?usp=drivesdkit worked on my original pixel it's an actual magisk module. If not no big deal. Thanks again
In-Depth Tutorial Added
I've added a ridiculously in-depth tutorial on how to make your own flashable-font zips from start to finish (including the lockscreen clock font fix) to the second post. Enjoy!

[Guide] Quick theme editing guide (24 May 20)

Since I'm no longer updating my themes (at least for now) and I've been asked a few times, I'll provide a quick guide to changing the accent colours.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...ed-black-theme-accent-colour-options-t4051377
May do a full guide at some point in the future, but that would be quite long.
Huawei themes are just zip files but with ".hwt" file extension.
Apps I use:
*Note, you can use any similar apps that serve the same function, though I believe mixplorer is the best file manager especially for editing themes.
File Explorer (to edit the .hwt & .zip files).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mixplorer.silver
*also note if you're using a different file manager you might have to add ".zip" to the theme.hwt e.g. theme.hwt.zip before you can open it, with mixplorer you don't.
Download:
iOmix-Temp.hwt
https://bit.ly/2M82lHT
Colour picker (to find the hex colour code of your choice).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jahirfiquitiva.pals
Vector image editor (to create the .png files).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shoebillsoftware.vectordraw
Download:
iOmix Theme Png Templates
https://bit.ly/2ZxJtdd
Includes .png & .svg use either as a template to create your own brightness & volume scrubbers these ideally should be the same accent colour that you use in the theme.xml
1. (Optional) Create a folder on your phone, call it whatever you want, I usually name it editing.
2. Copy the theme file (iOmix-Temp.hwt) to the folder.
3. Rename the theme file by adding ".zip" extension to the end "iOmix-Temp.hwt.zip"
*you can skip this if you're using mixplorer.
4. Open the zip and extract the following files to the editing folder:
com.android.contacts
com.android.systemui
framework-res-hwext
framework-res
5. Rename all files by adding ".zip" to the end
com.android.contacts.zip
com.android.systemui.zip
framework-res-hwext.zip
framework-res.zip
6. First we'll edit the theme.xml files in each of the files we extracted in step 5.
The process will be the same > replace 007DFE (this is a hex code without the #) with your own colour code (also without the #).
7. Editing theme.xml files
**Contacts.zip**
A. In the contacts zip open the theme.xml use the replace function to replace 007DFE with any other colour code *make sure [replace all] is selected.
B. Open framework-res-hwext folder > open theme.xml and repeat previous steps of replacing 007DFE with your preferred colour.
**Systemui.zip**
Edit the theme.xml in the following.
A. Main folder > theme.xml
B. Framework-res > theme.xml
C. Framework-res-hwext > theme.xml
**Framework-res-hwext.zip**
Edit the theme.xml in the following.
A. Main folder > theme.xml
B. Res > theme.xml
**Framework-res.zip**
Edit the theme.xml in the following.
A. Main folder > theme.xml
8. Replacing the main .png files.
**Contacts.zip**
A. Res > drawable-xxhdpi > fastscroll_label_phonebook_emui_null_icon.png (needs to be 152*152 pixels)
**Systemui.zip**
Edit the theme.xml in the following.
A. Framework-res-hwext > Res > drawable-xxhdpi > scrubber_control_normal_emui.png
(needs to be 98*98 pixels)
B. Res > drawable-xxhdpi > ic_seekbar_thumb.png
(needs to be 90*90 pixels)
**Framework-res-hwext.zip**
Edit the theme.xml in the following.
A. Res > drawable-xxhdpi > scrubber_control_normal_emui.png
(needs to be 98*98 pixels)
Finally you might want to rename the theme so you can find it in the Huawei theme manager app.
In the root of the theme zip there is a file called description.xml, open this file and change the title Theme title
Now remove the ".zip" from the files you renamed at the start:
com.android.contacts.zip
com.android.systemui.zip
framework-res-hwext.zip
framework-res.zip
Back to:
com.android.contacts
com.android.systemui
framework-res-hwext
framework-res
Copy the 4 files back into the theme.theme.hwt, If you used mixplorer then just copy the edited theme.theme.hwt back to your main themes folder
If you used a different file manager then remove the ".zip" extension from the theme.hwt then move to your main themes folder.
If you edited theme isn't showing in the Huawei themes manager, you might need to force stop it then reopen the app.
I hope this is clear enough.
Would be great if you share your edited theme here.
Let me know if there's any questions

Hi Faisal,
To change the share sheet colour:
framework-res > theme.xml >
<color name="GM2_grey_800">#ff161616</color> (change to preferred colour)
In mixplorer you can use the code or text editor (I prefer the code).
If your editing the theme.xml in framework-res (for example) you first need to extract it from the theme.hwt, then add .zip = framework-res.zip then edit the xml inside
As for the other theme you're best asking the theme creator of that, not all themers use the same structure and this thread is just a quick guide to changing the accent colour since a few people have asked.
Maybe I'll do a longer guide at some point in future but right now I don't want to spend too much time on this.

Guide to Convert Windows Fonts to EMUI

Hi All,
So I have successfully converted some of the Windows fonts to Huawei .hwt fonts/Text Styles. Attached file link contains a list of all the Windows 10 Fonts (.ttf) that are required to do so.
1. Download the "Themes Manager for Huawei / Honor / EMUI" app from the Playstore. This version Contains ads but still worth it.
2. Extract the zip file to your desired directory on your phone or Windows (copy the folder to your desired phone directory)
3. Now Open the Themes Manager App and go to the Fonts Tab.
4. Next Click on Font Generator
5. Now Click on Generate Font.
6. Select your desired .ttf font file from the Directory that contains the Fonts.
7. Follow the next steps and Apply Them through the Text Styles.
Download Link to the TTF Fonts:
