How to upgrade from rooted Andtoid 9 tab s6 rooted with odin but pc no longer availab - Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Questions & Answers

Ive rooted my SM-T860 using a Windows 7 laptop/Odin and Magisk before the Android 10 update. I no longer have the laptop.
Can anyone advise how I update to Android 10 without a PC if its even possible with my Tab rooted.
Is Mobile Odin an option?
I don't have TWRP installed only stock recovery.
Any replies are gratefully appreciated.
I'm thinking I should have used a different root method and installed TWRP, but I didn't, thanks in advance guys.
Hope everyone is doing ok.

You are going to need a PC. You will have to Odin back to stock at the very least.

Try FlashFire app from Playstore. If you are rooted it is only way to flash ROM without PC.

Thanks for the reply, why would I have to go back to stock first?
I really regret the root method I chose and ideally I would love to have TWRP and pass all device security checks etc.
I'm just really anxious and nervous to make a mistake that makes my device unusable :/
I miss kingoroot/towelroot/iRoot etc lol

this app should work for any device that can flash a recovery using dd if="whatever" of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p22, it can backup, flash, and reboot to recovery. requires root and busybox to work
Added boot backup and flash as well as power options

This works great, I think it needs some confirmations so that people know when the recovery flash is complete... I was a bit scared at first
good idea, maybee i will add in a couple toast notifications

Just rocking the standard 4.0.4 rom from dan, seems to be best on battery life. I use my tab mainly for watching movies, netflix, xfinity streaming etc. But It's nice just knowing you're completely liberated from the chains of at&t
I've not been able to get the xfinity streaming app to work on anything other than Dan's JB AOKP build (and it doesn't run great there), did you do anything special to get it to work?

Hi dan-htc-touch
can restore white NVFLASH ?

S Health restore.zip test

I made a zip to that installs S Health all its dependencies so that after reboot, the app will work even after you've set up your profile. It successfully installed it for me, but I need someone on MDK who has never had or uninstalled S Health to test and see If it restores S Health and its dependencies. You can test if Sensor service is restored by making sure walking mate detects your steps (see image below)
You can download the S Health restore zip here
Edit: Forgot instructions
1. Make a back up
2. Flash zip in recovey
3. Wipe cache/dalvik
4. Reboot

Making a trip to Singapore and intend on walking quite a bit. I have the app, but can uninstall and try your method to see if it works. Won't be until this weekend though.

How to get rid of these pop-ups?

My S6 edge came up with some kind of error messages when booting up the phone The messages are shown as below. Since my device is from Germany, please do not wonder the german expression "angehalten" as seen on the screenshots Needless to say, it means nothing other than "has stopped".
I have a PingPong-Root and TWRP via flashify installed. A few days back in time, I've accidentally erased all ODEX-Files and cleared Dalvik-Cache via Lucky Patcher. I don't know, if this action have caused these Pop-ups everytime I'm booting up the S6 edge. Any approaches would be much appreciated. How can I stopped these error messages from popping up?
Thanks for your effort!

Maybe If you tried reverting back to stock firmware the message would disappear.
A factory reset, is that what you mean?
I'm on stock Rom.

A factory reset just removes data. When you restore the firmware back to stock you use Odin to bring it back to its original factory state like the day you bought it

Booting into safe mode could also help diagnose the issue.

same messages are popping up when booting into safe mode. Any suggestions how to diagnose the issues in safe mode?
no way..as you have delete these files..in an deodexed Rom..these files are within the apk and produce a dalvik file..not with odexed Rom..that's why odexed is in theory better..as it's a bit faster.. but bad for customize

Magisk 16.0 Safetynet failed? (SM-J327P)

I'm having issues passing safetynet on a Samsung J3 Emerge while using Magisk. I have read thread after thread and their doesn't seem to be a fix. I'm not sure If it's an issue with samsung devices but as soon as I restore boot.img everything is works fine. Rather annoying to do so just to use a few apps that need root or won't work on rooted devices. I read in a forum that
I'm at the point of pulling my hair out due to frustratration. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Had you uninstalled any bloatware? If yes, then you need to reinstall it as a system app again to fool SafetyNet and make it believe that your device isn't rooted.

Maybe magisk? Since SuperSU is pretty much dead. Just a suggestion.
SuperSU is installing system mode, and you likely need to patch the boot.img and other things magisk patches (like dmverity)
Either flash clean stock firmware first, or unsu by Osmosis.

You're using an old SuperSU too. If you must use SuperSU, use 2.82 SR5 from this post.
SuperSU should work on Android versions up to 7.1.
But I recommend magisk.
Make sure your TWRP is up to date too.
