Hello Everyone, I seriously need the stock ROM for Infinix S4 6GB RAM 64GB Internal Hard. it is based on MT6762 Not MT6765. Infinix made S4 in different variants with the difference in ram and XOS version difference My mobile RUN XOS 5.0 CHEETA.
I don't know if its X626 or X626B But When I used shareit it used to show X626B. So please I need this Stock ROM. For Infinix S4 that runs
MT6762 MediaTek Helio P22 (and is 6GB RAM 64GB internal) and is XOS 5.0 CHEETA.

How did it get bricked?
My little advice, use search from infinix forum and you must know your device exact build number before flashing any firmware. If it can be recognized by pc use miracle tool to backup to check your build number from system or vendor image, from there you can modify the firmware and flash it back depends where the problem came from.

I've tried it. It's gone to deadboot it shows up in PC but there is no bootloader in the mobile to start it. is there a way to fix it. I know there is but for my mobile or MediaTek specific.

there's a rooting method using adb
until now theres now costum rom for your tab but if u succes with rooting your tab give me your system files and i try to make a port for you and cwm recovery should be maded from a one of the devloppers

Hello everyone, I need rom for Explay neo or Wiko Getaway or Qmobile i12. All of these sets are same just each country i-e russian and pakistan have installed their own software in it. I need kitkat compatible rom for it. I have searched the whole internet and haven't found a single rom. If someone can guide me . Thanks.

Intstalled and phon bricked
i installed this kitkat on Qmobile i12 and phon got bricked ..no revoery mode no rom.than flashed from Sp flash tool with stock rom of Neo.. snd now imie is gone ..phon is rooted but not installing recovery.. when go recovery phon git restarted..but rom is ok just imei is invalid.. so dont try this
the 3 phone models are the same , exact the same, the software works on oter devices, like the explay neo, did it myselve, and the imei didnt got wiped, why should it get wiped? my guess is , in the process of flashing went something wrong, and please dont forget to make a backup of everything with spflash tools, u can backup your imei too, for this kind of cenario. !!

I have M6 Plus and can't root it.
Try unlock bootloader, but fair.
send "fastboot oem unlock" command to phone,
and have a menu on phone say "vol+ to unlock",, I press vol+ then Phone say: Fair!
Try app:
KingRoot, Mtk_Droid_Tool 2.5.3, both fair.
And, there are no recovery mode on phone. every time I try enter recovery mode
The screen just show a died droid.
PS: I am not really need root my phone, My target is install Google framework on phone,
without root I can't let it happen.

Most of all webpage from google about root m6+ are FAKE!
(In fact, the top 10 webpage from google is all FAKE! only XDA is true, but no answer)

I own a Cherry Mobile Flare S5 Max (MTK6580 chipset, Android 6.0) which has the same chipset as Symphony i10, Tecno W4, Infinix Hot 4 and Infinix Hot 2 (mtk). I am currently working on porting TWRP for our device, which uses the recovery of these other phones as the port. But after booting the recovery, I found out that the touch panel is not working. But the recovery from the other devices given has their touch screen working perfectly.
Is there any solution to this Problem?

Flash it through an app/custom recovery if you can. (I used Rashr as an example)

TWRP or any custom recovery are usually not model or chipset specific, but you need a proper scatter file to be able to flash the custom recovery.img using SPFT. Usually custom recovery is more of screen resolution specific.

I did see a post for it (here) , except the ROM that was linked was actually for the MT6580 and NOT the MT6582.

I tried this manual, although I had the same problem, it happened to me that after flashing my cell phone remained in a state that my display was only black, but the computer would find it, I mean as storage and micro sd. Please advice, I've tried the same firmware from different sources and everything is fine flashing until the end, but still just a black screen.
