It is likely due to the different vendors. Have you tried formatting data to see if it worked? I am downloading it but it is extremely slow

Hope you can. Waiting for feedback! Flashing another ROM for now.
EDIT: I flashed xiaomi.eu latest beta first. Activated device. Reboot, dirty flashed MIUI 12 and wiped data. This time it worked! MIUI 12 looks cool!

Just flashed it. Dirty flash over latest eu beta ends with never ending boot screen. Back to recovery, delete data and rebooted. Everything fine. Booted up and restoring backup. Thanks

Works fine with Magisk 20.4. For me also Candy Kernel on 72hz works fine.

No, just rename candy kernel zip like candy72hz.zip and flash. It'll install a Magisk Module, too.
Rom is Chinese and English only. But with gapps.

Been using it for like 2-3 hours, working pretty solid till now without encountering any bug. Battery is a little off compared to xiaomi.eu but I guess maybe because it is the first charge cycle. I haven't done any gaming yet,so not sure about the heating situation. Camera also works fine.
so in short,Yes it is usable as a daily driver.

That's for phones that support bokeh mode by default.
Installed last night, all went smooth. The performance is stellar and every is working fine. Only issue I had was that somehow my TWRP recovery was overwritten by Xiaomi recovery.
Oh btw you don't need any Google installer APK you can just download the installer from the included Mi app store.
I will test out the rom today but I think I will restore my Lineage backup till the EU version is out....... the rom is great but there is way to much Chinese bloatware [emoji6]

That is what official MIUI does ...
Always have a backup of your stuff not in the phone.
I do not use the official twrp, I use this https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-note-2/development/twrpscorpio3-2-1-1tools-6blue-t3798956
So that there are no problems if you are in MIUI make a backup and before putting the rom deactivate from the mobile the device search and the account of xiaomi
once done reboot in twrp and make full wipes internal memory included and format data (if it gives montage error restart twrp again and perform again full wipes and format data) restart in twrp again and install, should not give you any problem with encryption
I do it like that and have never given me problems
and I do not overwrite the twrp either

Yeh might be but i never installed official MIUI ROMs before this one. Anyway took me 30 sec to hook up ADB and then Fastboot flash TWRP back. I rooted with Magisk and now all is perfect might even stay on this if i can tweak a few things to my liking.

Might be a shop room. Got one from AliExpress and was unlocked so loaded xiaomi.eu on myself. If it says MIUI Global in the about section. Don't do anything until you have flashed China stable or xiaomi.eu

There are some text issues with the xiaomi.eu tools (their built-in tweaking tools), which doesn't affect functionality.
Then, there is the widely-reported issues of the Power app crashing whenever you're installing an app. You can read similar reports at xiaomi.eu forum.

Hi installed the latest January release, and it seems like double tap to wake and raise to wake is missing?
I'm sorry but this is a multi-languages ROM, isn't it?
As I saw its name has a "CN" inside: "xiaomi.eu_multi_MIPAD4_V10.2.1.0.ODJCNXM_v10-8.1
I wonder if I flash this ROM, it will be back stock ROM with China apps, no Google Play and only Chinese and English languages
Please help to answer!
Thank you so much!
Hello. I decided to use eu-rom since magnetic cover does not work on the other custom rom.
On the rom I encountered that system partition does not allow "write", but read-only even I rooted with magisk and I use ES explorer or root explorer to modify the system file.
The purpose of changing system file is I like to use my favorite font on the device.
Is there any solution and why it does not allow the change?
When I install a custom rom like hovoc, permission is granted and I can change the font, but magnetic cover does not work....
I appreciate your advice to solve the problem.

How to get root access with this ROM version ?
Edit : it worked when installing from TWRP

[MOD][ROOT] Really Overclock your MIX3 screen to 66HZ in MIUI Android P (Tested)

Use it at your own risk! (Don't flash it on any Q ROMs)The dtbo.img is extracted from the Chinese version of miui 9.8.15,so you better use version 9.8.15 or later, If not worked you can try other rom. This Mod is tested and it worked for me,66hz is the most, more than 60hz will be slow because of the quality of the mix3 screen. this zip include 66hz for mix3
-Download the attached zip, unzip it
-Open TWRP
-Backup your dtbo partition
-Select the corresponding dtboxx.img, choose the dtbo partition, the flash it
-Reboot
You should see the changes immediately after the restart. It's way smoother than before.
If you want to go back to default, restore your dtbo partition backup or flash the dtbo60

not Earth shattering but once you've done it right.
its pretty cool and you'll notice it after you enter the OS.
will also help if you tweak your system animations under developer options, make them a second or more.
Doesn't boot on pixel experience (pe plus)
