Help neede

i am using prophet mobile xda neo with wm6 (transform 1)
today all of a sudden the touch screen stop working .. that is, it does not recognize the taps ... i always used protector on it ,after this problem i removed protector ,cleaned screen ,HR mobile ... downgraded it re-flashed it again but the cell is stuck on "TAP ON SCREEN TO SET ,...... " message ....
i am unable to do any thing with it .......
i need your help and suggestion ... please do help me ...........
that's more like a hardware problem. I dont thnk you can fix it with ROM flashing nor it has anything to do with screenprotector on/off. I would suggest that you get it fix (unless you are very comfortable in opening the unit yourself). I'm not sure if this is Prophet specific, but I do read at somewhere that, the connection between the screen and the motherboard are somewhat unreliable.. especially after a bump or so on the phone itself.
thanks a lot .... one more thing .... can i get the information about opening my prophet ..... i will open it .. if i get "how to...." matter on it. thanks in advance.
I wonder around all the forum, but I dont remember having a Prophet manual. However, as prophet is somewhat similar to Magician and Charmer, you may get a hint on how to open a Prophet based on those manuals. There is definately a how-to-open-a-magician PDF somewhere in this forum (which I've used it to open my ex-Charmer) and I know there IS a Charmer service manual somewhere here, where there is a guy offering HTC manuals in his website. Try your luck at the Wiki section, or try googling this forum (i.e. using google to search within this forum).
UPDATE: This is your lucky day. I just did a serch and it seems that
Mike Channon has a collection of links for it. Is this in the Wiki ?!

i am still wondering ... pls guys help me solving my problem ... i am living in a small township in india and i dont even have any good service center nearby ..... i have to solve it by myself....... pls guide me to solve my problem.......
thanks ..............

Mine has done the same thing, I have opened it and found that the connection for the screen appears to be damaged and have ordered a lcd + digitizer from US ebay for about US100 incl postage (from china) which even if it is not the connector should hopefully sort the problem. I used google translater to help with the russian dismantling instructions. I have noticed there is someone who sells the screens here too...

I need help ! pls

Hi , I have LG optimus G2x and i have noticed that my camera is not good , well my friend has an 2x and his pictures are way better than mine . But we both have 8mp cameras . Can anyone explain me why is that , or how can i fix it ? Pls help . Thx
Have you tried looking in the optimus 2x section? Try asking your question there maybe you might get some helpful answers.
What i think is he's probably on Cyanogenmod or a custom rom with better libs for the camera thus giving it a boost in the quality, or maybe he has set his pictures for a higher resolution?
can i do something if i root it ? can i fix it then ?
If you are with the same stock rom and version i suppose the pictures were taken in different places and with different lights condition so try to shot in the same situation and with the same settings... otherwise your friend is using a cooked rom and of course he can have something more then you even in the camera performance.
Rooting your phone it is not the same as installing a new rom... you will need to follow a procedure sometimes complicated... sometimes easy... but usually at the end you will enjoy a better phone
have you checked all the obvious settings like what resolution/quality pictures your camera is set to take?

[Q] Changing the front screen without changing the LCD

Hi guys,
I'm sorry if this issue has already been discussed million times here, but I am trying to change the broken screen of my Xperia mini-pro, and I really need help.
I bought the screen you can see in the attached file (sorry, can't post any direct link because of my new account) and I am starting to think it might not be the good thing to do.
Everyone on the internet is talking about replacing both the screen and the digitalizer (touchscreen ? Is that the same ?), does that mean that I can't just replace my screen plate with the one I purchased ?
I found someone who seems to have done it, but I am not really sure, and I can't post the link here...
Anyway, any help/advise given would be much appreciated, thanks ! :good:

Not sure, but ask in the Xperia Mini(pro) forum (2011 phone).
This forum is for the Xperix X10 Mini(pro) (2010 phone).

[Q] Tap to pay?!

Hey guys! Hope you're all well
I wanted to avoid making a new thread for this but it has been bothering me quite a bit and I'd love to find out more about this. My friend bought a Z2 a few weeks ago here in the UK and when setting up, she was given an option to add her payment details to what seemed like Google Wallet or some other tap-to-pay solution. Is this included in the new .314 firmware? Her phone was on the .402 firmware and I saw this option myself when setting up hence the reason I ask. If someone could please clarify this for me I'd appreciate it tremendously as I'd love to be able to use the feature!
Thanks in advance! :highfive:
EDIT: Never mind, found it! Turns out EE (Provider in the UK) has a "Cash on tap" app that only works on phones with their SIM in it. Mods can delete this thread.
could you kindly put [SOLVED] in the title please
its useful to some people seeing solved threads looking for help
