Why Xioami not providing regular update to Redmi Note 5 plus India variant?

From last 3-4 weeks Xioami not providing regular weekly update for Redmi Note 5 plus for global beta users.
Even low ended phones gets update weekly..... This is very bad behaviour from Xioami....
I think it's best to stay at "reliable" rather than "bleeding edge" OS because that's all you need. This is my very personal opinion btw

1.- There's no "Redmi note 5 Plus". Do your research and define if you have a Redmi 5 Plus (Note 5 in India, codename vince) , or a Note 5 (Note 5 Pro in India, codename whyred). This forum is for vince. If you have whyred, go to its forum and post there.
2.- Xiaomi always focuses it's development teams mostly to the china ROMs. Chinese developer ROM is constantly updated and then some of these freatures are ported to the global roms, but even in chinese developer roms updates are not always weekly. Why do you need a weekly update? You need a new freature every week? Do you want an unstable system or a build full with untested freatures?
3.- Xiaomi "uses" users that are running developer roms (betas) to test new freatures, bugfixes and to get feedback. They (and almost all OEMs that provide soak tests, previews or beta roms) only update these branches with new builds or OTAs when there's something to test or fix, and internal tests (fast rings or closet betas) have been successful.
4.- The lack of beta OTAs doesn't mean that your device is abandoned or is lacking support. It isn't equivalent to bad behaviour. You're not entitled to weekly updates, you don't even need them.
If you need constant updates or new stuff i suggest you to use an unofficial ROM like Xiaomi.eu
I am in beta global ROM

Actually I am global beta ROM user. I got weekly updates. But from Nov 22 I not am getting any beta update. Also checked on mi community there is no update for Vince device. They are releasing weekly updates to lower version. Eg. Redmi note 4, note 3....
My device code name is Vince..
Sorry for bad English.

Nice, only problem is getting Google contacts to sync after installing Google play services on China MIUI via the Google installer. Everything else works including the Google play store apart from contacts sync. Otherwise China Dev ROMs always have more cool features. Anyone able to share how to sync their Google contacts on China Dev MIUI ROMs

You are right...you can not flash it...if u flash china fastboot rom then try to update miui 12 it not happened because of it is chaina stable beta....
Limited usure can flash it...
So wait for stable update.....
But at the first time i able to run miui 12 on my device

First 12.5 version for K20

So... yup!
Pleasant surprise
I sincerely thought that my Mi 9T EEA would go from Android 10 to 11 via MIUI 12.0 to 12.1... but it seems that Xiaomi released a 12.5 stable beta: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/davinci/stable/V12.5.1.0.RFJCNXM/
So I'm guessing that it will end up reaching EEA sooner or later.
IMHO, I'm already happy with 12.0, but if 12.5 runs lighter than 12.1 and is stable with no major bugs... bring it on!
Read about no sound after miui update and consider it as destruction of your device
If I were you, I would not update and go away from miui as fast as possible

I'm pretty sure they'll fix it before going Stable
I'm quite happy with MIUI, so I'll go LineageOS once Xiaomi stops supporting the device.

Question Install different official version of miui

My miui version is 12.5.1(RKIEUVF). Can i install RKIEUXM version? Is it necessary to unlock bootloader for official rom?
Yes you will need to flash it with mi flash tool, but also beware of ARB and learn how to bypass it to not brick your device.

There are two versions, Stable and Weekly, read on their forum what users report to decide which one you want to go
(I'm still in the process of buying Renoir, but on my old Mi 9T I use Xiaomi.eu Stable - however, the old, MIUI 12 version since there is no MIUI 13 for my phone yet)

Question Restore stock eea from from .eu

Hello, weeks ago I was on stock miui 13 eea rom. Then I unlocked the bootloader and flashed a xiaomi.eu miui 12 rom. The flash was simply done by rebooting in fastboot and running a .bat.
Can anyone explain me how to go back to miui 13 eea stock?
First, get a stock firmware from here: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/renoir/ and use a fastboot way.
PS. Atention to download a fastboot version.

Due to various tweaks I recommend also trying the xiaomi.eu miui 13(!) as I did, while...
OT:
I am waiting patiently for an adaptation of CR-Droid for our device (renoir).
Has anyone seen an maybe unofficial version somewhere?
I am a sucker for CR since over a year now on Mi Mix 2s (discontinued).
Has anyone an explaination, why the 4G-Version is supported by more Custom Roms than the 5G-Version?
Is it not attractive enough, hardware-wise?

crDroid 8.4 GSI works flawless in renoir, except for battery consumption ("fashion" features has a cost) and safetynet.
Oh, that sweet sound! So is renoir project treble compatible? I know, i is an A/B-system.
I was relying on the official builds in the past, but I was already planning to go a different way, if there is no official maintainer for a renoir build.
Is there a best option for downloading the crdroid 8.4 GSI?
TWRP is running fine already.
I really appreciate your hint and help on this, thank you @rcavalcanti !
