Help me pick a ROM that passes SafetyNet - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hi all,
Right, so crDroid has unfortunately stopped passing safetynet without root, so I cant use some apps and my banking app any more
Can someone suggest a new ROM for me to use? There are so many to pick from, and I dont have time to test them all.
I dont have many requirements, just after stability mainly:
- Android 10 (doesnt have to be, but would be preferred)
- Not MIUI (not a fan of the battery and RAM management)
- Can pass safetynet and play store cert without root (I have no need for root)
- Can use a GCAM port (doesnt need to be built in or anything)
- Has long press volume to skip music track while screen is off
- Decent signal performance
If anyone can give me some suggestions, or share which ROM they use, that would be very helpful!
Thanks,

Pixel Experience 10 Plus Edition
Havoc OS
Evolution X
These are the roms which I have personally used. They are good as a daily driver and fulfill your needs.
Not sure about the 4 point but if any of them have prebuilt GCam you can use TWRP file manager to delete it. No need to root.

[Q] please recommend android phone with root?

Hi all!
I definitely and urgently need some good ideas
for a new smartphone that is rooted by default
or easy to do so!
Right now I'm still 'using' a Samsung SGS2 !!!
Memory and RAM are low (already had to kick many apps!);
Samsung was ugly with bloatware;
-> pure Google/CyanogenMod?;
(Is it still necessary to root again (flashing the kernel etc.) after OS-Update?)
priorities:
- performance
- root
(AdAway, Xposed, Titanium etc.)
- 'like' to be able to change the battery myself
- outdoor-version possible (locus!)
- extended memory
As far as I know the OnePlus One runs by default with Cyanogen Mod.
I it true that I would not have to flash anything after a ROM-update here?
I'd be pretty thankful if you could recommend one or the other device
because I really have a hard time finding myself through the jungle
of phones right now!
regards!

[Q] 9000 custom Roms, which fits my requirements ?

I've got an S3 i9300, want to use it as daily driver.
I need an OS that is:
Stable and complete. GPS, Camera, Bluetooth etc.. works
Fast for regular usage (don't want to feel this is old hardware)
has security patches (e.g. stagefright)
preferably has the CM Privacy Manager.
no stock/bloated Samsung ROM
CM12 runs slow. BlissPop (CM12 based) runs slow. MinimalOS (Lollipop) fast but not stable or complete enough, LiquidSmooth old and not updated, AndroidRevolutionHD old etc...
I'm seeing dozens of Roms, I can't try them all.
Which ROMS do you recommend ?
Stock roms run the best. Custom roms are customisable.
I wish I stole my HTC M9.

I myself use i9300 official CM 13 Nightlies but they are kinda buggy for now if you want a totally complete rom so use these:
1. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-i9300-t3254215( use the latest build only for maximum performance )
2. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-aosp-i9300-t3207400 ( use Android 5.1.1 version )
And if you want any rom to run smoothly so you will need :
1. greenify
2. greenify donation pack
3. xposed framework
4. supersu
Use greenify to hibernate almost all system apps unless the ones make you buggy and slow like your launcher and Google now and Google services. And you'd better hibernate the user apps you don't need too. This can make you pretty fast and power saving.
Press the tnx:good: button if I helped you.

Wow, thanks for the detailed reply. I never knew Greenify was so important/impactful on overall performance.
I just tested the latest CM11 nightly and noticed it says "android security patch level December 2015". So that's good, it's secure.
One more thing, what are your thoughts on custom Kernels for performance ? I've tried Boeffla and saw a nice difference (with a slightly more performance oriented governor)

It depends on the OS version of your phone and on the build version either for example if you are on the build 20 of cm 12.1 boeffla can make you really fast but if you are on build 30 you have some instabilities coming with it ( as I tried it myself but you can try it too not so sure on this one ) but for the OS versions below 5.1.1 it is really awesome and heavily optimized and bugless.

Thanks, I tested boeffla-kernel-2.12-CM11.0-NG-i9300 with latest CM11 nightly. Phone works great, I think I'll stick with CM11 - I don't really need anything from newer android versions
I vote against greenify and any apps that task manage. Android will keep opening apps regardless of how many times you close them as that is the nature of the operating system. Just let it do what it wants and it'll eventually learn that you don't use that app.

Then you vote for speed decrease and lags and battery drain and so. If you want them to happen on your device so NP then. And knowing that S3's ram is limited and low will make the problem worst. Yeah of course if I had note5 I wouldn't use greenify!!? We only use it to solve the low ram problems that everyone suffer from and you know Android is created to install tweaks and control it as you want if not you can buy an ios device and let it do everything for you.

[HELP] Need a Daily Driver for Realme 3 Pro with good battery, fingerprint, xposed ?

Hello,
I have searched entire XDA, but every rom has some kind of bug which makes it unstable for daily run. I am looking for a daily driver, with these things :
1. Good battery backup
2. Fingerprint
3. MAGISK with Xposed
4. No SE Linux bugs
I'm even okay with Color OS, but i have heard Magisk modules don't work with stock Color OS. And GSI doesn't support fingerprint
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

crDroid 6.5 (Android 10) for Davinci available

Hello
here is a Android 10 release of crDroid 6.5 from 16.4.20 for download:
https://yadi.sk/d/TD-kDw6UvZbvoQ
I got it running on my Mi 9T, without any issues.
Even the fingerprint sensor works very fine, its my daily driver.
It has lots of customization options
It is official rom?
Can I flash it on indian k20
I dont think its official.
I am not the developer , but I am very happy with crDroid on my Davinci.
I tested very much other roms, every one had issues with something.
Mostly with the fingerprint sensor or the customization options.
With a backup from your previous system its worth a test
Is it smooth ROM like, for instance, Pixel Expirience? Does ANX Camera works in it? Which gapps do you use on this ROM?
does all functions works ok?
I didnt find anything what is not working.
Pixel Exp. is nothing for me, to less options. But yes, it runs smooth.
The battery life is amazing.
I use opengapps nano, because when pixel launcher is installed the orignal laucher has problems.
And the gcam port from urnyx works very fine. Havent anx cam installed yet.
Volte/vowifi working? And stupid question but does it ask for FP when double tapping a notification or just pin?
Used to use crDroid back in my Samy S2 days so interested to see how its come along.

I found the download with Google.
Dont know whos the dev.
Crdroid is my absolute favorite rom , hope there will be an official build on the crdroid page
@nikc0069
You can unlock with fingerprint or pattern.
How can I test Volte/vowifi ?
Volte is on per default, Wi-Fi calling can be enabled
Found the ROM on 4pda, the develop name is Razziell of that forum, this is the know bugs written on the post:
ANX camera not supported!
After making calls on the bt headset while playing music, you need to reconnect the headset / headphones, since the audio stops playing (the same applies to the GU)
It is better to write about the problems found in telegram (link in the profile) or in qms.

Installation instructions:
Requires an unlocked bootloader and the presence of TWRP.
Installed on any stock firmware based on 10 android.
!! The firmware contains its own vendor - you don’t need to install others and it is extremely undesirable !!
It is required to install firmware from global 10 version 11.0.4 / 5 or the latest Chinese dev!

Custom roms - what is your impression?

Hello
I'm searching for a custom ROM for the realme xt (with NFC). If you are using any custom ROMs, would you please describe your experience?
I'm looking for:
1. Name of the Rom, and links for installation instrunctions, etc;
2. How stable is your experience;
3. Would you recommend it?
4. Are there more people that can give help and advice (forum, etc) for it?
5. Is it possible to use without GAPS (I prefer to go degoogled)?
6. Is it possible to use with microg (floss implementation of Google services APIs)?
7. Is it possible to use with basic google services (nano Gaps or something like that)?
I'm not really interested in themes, Pixel Apps, pixel themes, and other proprietary Apps. I've been a LineageOS user for a long time, and if it were a stable official version availabe it would be my chjoice. But I'mn open to whateverr ROM works.
Thanks
Anyone? I'm looking for a ROM that is mainly stable enough for daily use and that, hopefully, there will still be developers interested for a while...
