FAQ
Why don't you attach OOSCam?
FlokoROM tries to include as much open license code as possible.
Other ROMs attach OOSCam, but the source code for OOSCam has not been made public. Therefore, it is not attached with FlokoROM.
Why isn't there a face unlock?
FlokoROM pickd the face unlock used for crDroid once, but it was reverted due to a problem with the license.
The face unlock on crdroid and Pixel Experience have a licensing issue.
You can read more about it here.

Which are the recommended GApps?
I recommend openGApps.

Sorry, if you flashing GApps, but FU is do not work.
FU can be used for some custom ROMs, but that FU has a licensing problem.
FlokoROM also enabled FU once, but it was reverted due to a serious licensing problem.
See the FAQ in this post.

I'm sorry. There are currently no plans to implement OTA individually.
The developer of FlokoROM (lindwurm) has indicated that he would like to implement OTA, but it is still a work in progress. Please be patient.
You can receive ROM updates from the pushbullet instead of OTA being unavailable. Please use it if you like.
https://www.pushbullet.com/channel?tag=flokorom_oneplus7_release
Since twrp is included in the ROM, you can update the ROM only with your phone.

Thx

Can you check wifi 5ghz connection ? Most of the roms struggle to connect when distance is greater than 10 meters

I just checked and sure enough, the signal-to-noise ratio was extremely low when the 5GHz WiFi was just a little farther away.
I didn't notice it because it was emitting radio waves with the same AP name as 2.4GHz.
I'm just making a personal guess, but I think OnePlus uses a software correction value for the values reported by hardware. Or need to set parameters for the SoC. The other thing is that the original code's formula for calculating radio strength may be wrong.
But I still don't know the real cause.

Thank you for your answer sir, yes most of all oem does software correction for signal values but problem I faced with custom roms that they can't connect to my other mobile's 5ghz hotspot from even 10 meters where in oos it works fine even there and in Cr droid xda thread dev has written even in bug that it doesn't work properly after 5 meters

I checked with the app to check the radio wave strength and felt that a 5 meter connection was the limit. and when operating 2.4GHz and 5GHz with the same SSID, it automatically switched to 2.4GHz at a distance of about 2 meters.
In my house i use Yamaha WLX202.
(Yamaha is famous music equipment manufacturer.)
If this is a problem specific to Oneplus7 and it doesn't occur with Pro or T, I think we can narrow down the problem to some extent. Have you ever heard of the same problem in a Pro or T?

I searched in 7t and 7pro threads and found out they have problem too, but in some roms like in 7pro Crdroid many said that it is fixed in 22 feb build but some people still have issues and 7 pro have discussion https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...scussion-wifi-drop-issue-custom-roms-t4091625
So I think it is present in 7t and 7pro too

Workarounds & Tips
Avoiding data encryption issues, please backup your current ROM to SDCARD or your PC.
If you are facing decryption issue after flashing this ROM, and previous using the Stock ROM, please make sure you have used "FORMAT DATA" on TWRP and wipe Data/System/Cache.
Don't ask for Secondary Screen supports, AOSP doesn't support this, so maybe we can make it works on Pie with cutout settings? For Oreo: NO.
If you are using Custom Kernel or Mods and causing issues, i will not be supporting this.
Don't ask about Android Pie, it will come when it's ready, this thread is for Oreo.
Temp-Fix for Speaker : PATCH
If you are facing microphone issue while recording videos or audios, please WIPE Cache/Dalvik Cache from TWRP.

Read the OP#1, Use FORMAT DATA on twrp before flashing this rom, and remember to back up your current rom to sdcard or pc.
Already tried this rom. So far is good, except for the 3 things not working. hope to see your feature update soon. also for the secondary screen, is there a way to solve it? got discuss with another romer, so far he said third party no-sense rom is unlikely to solve the secondary screen, to make it work.

Also thanks to Bazz27, G_T200, Het Shah, Nuaman & Natsukiro for testing builds

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
Have an unlocked bootloader, and custom recovery installed/booted
(Not gonna be explained here, there'll be threads in this forum somewhere)
Reboot to recovery (Recommended recovery listed in downloads section)
Make sure your device is with Pie Firmware (Don't report issues using realmeUI firmware)
Flash ROM zip, VoLTE FIX & Gapps if flashing non-GApps build (Download Gapps from downloads section)
Format data (don't report anything bugs if you dirty flashed over another ROM)
Reboot into the system.
Device specific features:
* DC dimming (flicker free feature). check Settings -> Realme Settings
* Game mode (touch boost). check Settings -> Realme Settings
* Toggle for display hz (auto, forced 90hz). check Settings -> Realme Settings
* TouchScreen Gestures. check Settings -> Realme Settings -> touchscreen gestures
* Ambient gestures (Pickup, handwave & pocket). check Settings -> Display -> Lockscreen display -> Ambient display
KNOWN ISSUES:
* SELinux Permissive
* FOD works as it should except screen turns black when you touch it otherwise all good
CHANGELOG:
* April Security Patch
* CTS should pass by default now
* Added Off-Screen Gestures (realme Settings)
* You have no idea how many patches this unofficial DU includes, seriously you don't want to know all of them. Lets just say it's made to run almost perfectly like any other rom in X2 Pro.
NOTES:
* Initially this build was released in X2 Pro Telegram group, later I have decided to post here too since many custom rom users are in XDA only
* Flash colorOS if your device is having realmeUI, same applies to VoLTE, you don't have to flash VoLTE zip everytime you flash new rom. Don't report bugs if using realme UI FW & it's vendor.
* Don't flash Magisk 20.4.
Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
Include your firmware versions in reports.
Mention any and all Magisk modules you might be using along with the Magisk version
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

your date is encrypted and tvrp in theory now does not even see it. It is necessary to establish the color of wasps and ozip through tvrp. Then from the fastboot to flash the stock of recovery and vbmeta from the color in the subject, I debugged it. Make fastboot format userdata then go to the stock recovery and make the format there. And boot stock color

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

Reporting Bugs
All bugs should be reported here: Issue Tracker
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg.
Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

New build is up. Check OP for changelog. Downloads as always are in the OP, but you may update via the Updater app if you wish. Happy flashing! :fingers-crossed:
Just flashed it, working very fine, thanks a lot.
A minor bug I can't explain : some of the menus stay in English even if I select another language.

No, but please make sure to use the latest TWRP version. You must also format data (not wipe). Also, recovery logs won't help due to them only showing what's happening in the recovery.
Just flashed v1.2 working also fine
One question though : on the Moto Camera v6.2 app the HDR option is no more visible (it was on latest Pie builds).
Edit : persistent even when installing via the Moto Camera Thread tutorial

It's because we use HAL3 now. Certain functions won't work because we use deen blobs instead of stock camera blobs

Downgrade To v12.0.2
Tester Tried On v12.0.3 And Not Working
Hi , nice one sir , i managed to install it at the end i had to downgrade to 12.0.0 how is saying here Lostark13
the rom works super smooth love the RR features , brings back the memories , love to see it again
Only one problem i just found and is super important for me , is the Bluetooth . is not working , is greyed out
i saw the wifi not working and i flashed 12.0.2 and now is working , what should i do for Bluetooth to work ? or is broken from the rom ?
a to don;t forget , i miss the xpoco equaliser or how they call it Dolby sound profile . on Voice profile my phone was super loud ,
Can You Provide Me ADB Logs For Bluetooth?
It Will Help Me To Solve Bug ASAP
Beautiful! I was running RR on the OP7T, just sold that off and got the X3, great to see the rom is here as well so I won't miss my 7T so much

Greetings OP.
Firstly, I wanna give huge thanks for this ROM. It is by far my favorite out of all the others I've tried. Google Pay and other apps that rely on SafetyNet worked out of the box. That is a wonderful thing especially considering how stranded I was yesterday when I couldn't buy food or petrol or pay for my car's service.
However, I have an issue with Bluetooth. I have tried your suggestion to downgrade to v12.0.2 before flashing. I have done this several times now but the issue persists.
Something else I noticed with AOSP-based ROMs is that the WiFi signal strength is never at maximum even when I am standing a few meters away from my router. And sometimes, WiFi would randomly disconnect when I am about 5 meters away from the router with 2 walls between us. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just a mild annoyance.
Thank you abundantly again for your work. I'll be sending some 'beers' your way.

The New Update Will Have Bluetooth Fixed And Also Some Minor Bugs Fixed Too.
Brick after installation of RR
Hi guys,
I installed this ROM yesterday. Now my Poco X3 is bricked. Any help appreciated.
What I have done (I came from MIUI with the latest updates).
Unlocked bootloader
Installed TWRP from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xi...lopment/recovery-twrp-xiaomi-poco-x3-t4167199
Booted into TWRP and did a full wipe included data (don't know exactly, but system wasn't choosable)
Pushed the Rom-zip from this thread to /sdcard/ and installed it via TWRP
After successfull installation: reboot system
But the system didn't boot. There was only the screen with "POCO" in the middle and "powered by android" on the button for ca. 1s. Then the mobile shut off.
Same for fastboot and recovery. When I hold down or hold up the volume-button while powering on, there is also the described screen for 1s, before the mobile shuts off.
Once again: Any help or tip much appreciated!

Thanks for the hint, but point 2. is not possible. As I wrote above there is only for 1s the screen with "POCO" in the middle, after turning the phone on (no matter, if I hold up or hold down volume during powering on). Then the mobile switches off. So I can't boot into fastboot to boot twrp.
I don't know which MIUI-Version was on the phone, before I installed RR. The latest OTA-updates yesterday were installed.
Any other hints?

I think the problem here is that you likely flashed from 12.0.3 firmware back to the older 12.0.2 firmware which caused the brick.
Honestly, this is probably obvious for 90% of members, but developers really need to state which firmware their ROMs are build from and include these risks as a step in the instructions.

• Q: Which is the default Kernel?
• A: AwakenOS ships with Meteoric Kernel for now.
• Q: Which is the default launcher?
• A: Awaken Ships Launcher3 on Vanilla & Pixel Launcher on GApps builds by default.

• A: It is currently shipped Google Camera Go. Although, you can install your custom GCams and stuff.
• Q: Is this ROM good for gaming? Does this ROM have game mode?

• Q: Which recovery do you recommend?
• A: We suggest you using the Default AOSP Recovery which Ships with Awaken. Although any recovery should be fine, you can feel free to use your existing one, but do not report OTA related stuff on third party recoveries except default recovery.
• Q: How do I request a feature?
• A: Go to @AwakenOSChat on Telegram and Enter your requests in chat.
• Q: Is Encryption supported?
• A: Yes, ROM is Encrypted by Default. Although you can flash DFE but at your own risk and will but do not complain if ROM doesn't boot on flashing DFE. It's always recommended to stay encrypted.

Work on 8T as well?
Refresh rate is stuck at 60. Tried adjusting the smooth display option in Display settings, and also tried toggling the force peak rate in Dev settings. Nothing seems to change the rate from 60 to 120. Even tried some ADB/shell commands, but nothing seems to work.
Also tried a different kernel to be safe. Same issue though.. refresh rate stuck at 60, can't raise it.
I'm on an 8T btw, if that might affect anything..?

Hi there, High refresh rate is working fine for me. Attaching Screenshot below.
Although you can try scrolling in some app which supports 120Hz like Chrome or any browser you might be using and it will switch to 120Hz.

Hm. I couldn't get the refresh rate overlay to show anything but 60 no matter what I did. Did you toggle any options to turn on the high refresh rate in settings or something beforehand? Maybe I missed a setting/toggle somewhere.

I just did a full msm and a clean flash of the rom to be safe and make sure it wasn't something I did to cause the refresh rate issue. But, after a clean flash of the rom, this is still what I get:

Will you please send me a logcat? I'll try to figure out what's the issue but atleast I'm not facing this, neither did anyone else report this issue.
I flashed it fresh yesterday, I have to say that it's really slipping. I couldn't find any issues until now.
New build is up.

Not yet. I'll release the hotfix build as soon as possible.
Hello Devs, I have been using this ROM for the past month and have noticed no issues overall. ROM is responsive and battery life is great. Just wanted to know if you plan to support this ROM further with updates or even an upgrade to android 13?

Thanks for your review! Android 12L is now depreciated, Android 13 will be supported soon. But Android 13 source is now Work in Progress. I will inform on Telegram Group once build is out and even the thread will be updated.

Great to know that development will continue for this ROM as so far it has been rock solid. Also, would like to know if the "Sleep Mode" (present in battery settings) feature from other ROMS like Nameless could be added in Awaken as well as it helps to minimize idle battery drain at night.
Other than that, thanks for your efforts so far
