FAQs
Do I need to wipe and format my data everytime I need update?
No. You do not need to wipe your data in order to install an update. You can flash the update over your existing data. Kindly follow the Dirty Flashing instructions found in the Install guide section for further guidance.
Can I root my device?
Yes. I suggest rooting your device with the use of Magisk. Follow the instructions provided from the thread in order to successfully root your device.
I've faced an issue while using the ROM, how may I describe the issue in order for you to fix it?
If a bug or an issue is found during the usage of CesiumOS, I suggest that the issue is described in a well and detailed manner, whilst providing a logcat of the occurring issue.
You may obtain the logcat of the issue by following these instructions:

-Open Settings
-Enter in About Phone
-Find and tap the Build Number for 5 times
-Exit About Phone and enter System
-Toggle the Advanced section by tapping the downwards arrow
-Enter Developer Options
-Scroll down to find Android debugging
-Activate the setting
-Plug your device to your computer via a USB cable
-Download the latest version of platform-tools for your PC
-Extract the folder
-Open cmd or terminal in the platform-tools directory
-Type adb devices in the cmd/terminal
-Allow the device to access your phone via a prompt on your phone
-Type and send adb logcat > nameofissue.txt on your terminal
-Include the text file to your post
Notice: Logcats must be taken only if you are running the ROM as intended. If a custom kernel is installed, kindly note the occurence, or else I will not consider it to be a ROM issue.
What Google Apps do I flash with this ROM?
You can try any Gapps package. I suggest NikGapps
Can I flash a custom kernel with this ROM?
Yes, you may. However I am not responsible for any issues related with the custom kernel.
My device suffers from the BLOD issue. What can I do to flash this ROM?
Do not fret. In the OP post, I have included a TWRP version for 4 core users alongside the BLOD patch by Osmosis in order to boot the ROM using only 4 cores.

- We don't support substratum officially but all AOSP ROMs support substratum natively so your usage may vary, if you have issues don't complain about it since we don't support it.

Clean flash is recommended. you can try different kernels but don't expect any support from dev.

Do not dirty flash. Since we arent based off of Cm14.1 it will most likely give you a bootloop.

Very rude to ask.
Please make a nandroid backup yourself and flash the ROM. Then you can see if there are any bugs.
And if there are bugs you can just restore your nandroid backup.

Can I use lrtwrp to flash?

Using fingerprint to unlock/wake device does not work (for me at least). Attempting to wake/unlock the device with fingerprint only gets it stuck/frozen; Screen doesn't turn on and phone doesn't respond to power button presses. The only way to return to normal is to hold the power button to force shutdown and turn the phone back on. I will continue to use the rom because it is very good but I am not going to be using any fingerprints for the time being. Hopefully it'll be fixed in the next update.

This is an initial release so give them some time. I can tell you this is an impressive work for a phone which had no hope for custom roms. Please let give time.

Sometimes when I unlock screen is turn off and i must hard reboot. Often I see white lines on screen.

For some reason the night light does flickering thing, dunno what cause it

How to flash this Rom using TWRP? any instruction please because I try to flash it in twrp but its failed error 1 ( need to reboot recovery to change slot B for me to able to flash additional zips) unable to mount system ext, vendor etc. thats the error message I get

No major bugs except what you mentioned.
everything fine, battery backup good & performance good.
you will notice some lagging on first boot just change the wallpaper to static then you will be fine.

flashed with Pe (ADB sideload) working 100%
sideload with Lineage not working for me.
twrp didn't test.
go with PE if you sideloading.

The SD card works fine and unlike other Roms even the return to recovery does not create problems. I tried, without naming two rom A12 for beryllium and this rom is definitely a step forward in terms of performance, reliability and completeness of features. Obviously there are still a few hours of testing but for now everything is going well. Thanks and congratulations to the Project Elixir team a great job I hope there will be developments in the future.

Ok , thanks

Clean installation since yesterday , unrooted and no magisk etc-
Situation as of today:
no issue so far, smooth with only minor glitches
banking app working
no battery drain overnight (almost flat line, ~2 % lost in one night)
Android Auto working well
Amazing job!
Will report any bugs in the future

What I have done in Fox Recovery: wipe internal storage, data, system, vendor, cache => push zip and install => reboot.

its working. Format data + install zip + clean cache then reboot

Yes its true it is the best rom yet, so far so good ,but some system crashes nothing important,will let you know if it hqppens again,needs further testing

Yeah. The ROM works smooth and fine. I'm amazed by it can do Netflix in full HD which I can't get on other ROMs.

Nice update

The best android 12 I've tested to far. But offline charging is not working. Once you plug the charger, it will boot only or stack on boot logo("Poco")

CLEAN FLASH (for first time install)
First Method for Clean Flash
1. Reboot to bootloader
2. Download Fastboot Enhanced Tool
3. Open it, select your device in Fastboot Enhanced Tool and reboot to fastbootd
4. Download the ROM zip from sourceforge & extract it and find the payload.bin file inside it.
5. Flash Payload.bin via the tool. Reboot to recovery after you have flashed the rom.
6. Format Data & Reboot to System
Second Method for Clean Flash(using sideload)
Note: You can't sideload with any recoveries, only some recoveries support sideloading this rom. I have provided one below
1. Download ROM zip from sourceforge and put it in adb folder
2. Download recovery.img from here
3. Put it in the folder where you have your adb files, and then open a terminal and execute the command

4. Reboot to recovery
5. Choose "Apply update"
